Kody & Robyn are feverishly trying to rewrite history to fans. Kody has even taken to using old storylines to justify his failure and bad behavior. His most recent rewrite had to deal with the one house plan he had for the Brown family. Kody has taken the position that his and Christine's relationship fell apart because she refused to invest all her finances into Kody's real estate dream of one home. Frankly, the best move she could have made was refusing to do that.
Let's have the conversation.
When Kody failed Ysabel, he lost ALL of the original 13 children and Christine.

Maybe some of those comments are coming from Robyn and Kodys camp but I will never change my mind about Christine that women raised 13 children and they all love her. Living with a narcissist is so horrible they will always find a way to put you down and attack you especially if you left them. @jennifergrody , I think it's a narcissist thing. I broke up with a guy years ago who didn't take it very well. He would leave messages, which I ignored and he even came over uninvited and was butthurt when I wouldn't let him in. He disappeared. Years later, I unintentionally picked up his phone call so I satisfied my curiosity and listened to him for a little while. He insisted that he was the one who broke up but still wanted to see me, blah, blah blah. Meanwhile, I'm shaking, trying not to laugh out loud. Then he was incredulous when I still didn't want to see him. Pretty sure that was the last time I spoke with him. I changed my phone number about a year after that. He did try to contact me on social media and got blocked. But he and Kody could be brothers, with how they behave and speak.
It was a temper tantrum. He was probably angry that the "chubby nacho girl" dumped him and not the other way around. One last time to shit on her before she left

When Kody didn't go to the surgery with Ysabel, Kody lost EVERY female fan he had. EVERY ONE OF US.
He'd already been acting like a complete jerk for three seasons, but this was the final straw for everyone I know and for most of the posters on the four SW You Tubers I check in with.

My guess is Robyn has Super anxiety & is selfish AF. And she’s paranoid.
I feel sorry for Robyn's kids. The way she has raised/is raising them has stunted them, emotionally. Plus, the 3 oldest are unfit to hold jobs or sustain adult relationships. Robyn has cut them off from family who could be supportive of them, ie. their birth father and his extended family, the sister wives and the OG13. They are going to have hard lives.
Snobyn told her kuds they're products of rape, their real dad doesn't love them, the family doesn't love them, and nobody wants to seen them for holidays. Snobyn taught her girls to use fake tears as a way to manipulate every situation and they're mean girls just like mommy dearest. Snobyn made sure her kuds were separated bc she didn't want them to learn about all the lies she tells them. I think snobyn is abusive and her kids are the victims of her abuse. Aurora acts like a 12 yr Old and ari still sucks a paci and has no respect for adults. Maybe if sobyn didn't rely on nannies her kids would have been better. They have anxiety and they're not being taught how to manage it. Kody carrying Aurora up to bed with her extra dramatic anxiety attack all bc they're moving was disgusting and creepy. OH HELL NO…Robyn would never let her kids go with rest of family without her. How can she manipulate and know what’s going on if she’s NOT there? Her self esteem can’t handle possibility of her kids hearing something that doesn’t align with her and Krodys views. They aren’t allowed to have their OWN feelings…it’s sad and very abusive.

First off Christine dumped Kody she packed his garbage and moved it out in the garage he was pissed about that. Then he was upset because she was taking all the equity money from the sell of the house. He couldn’t do anything about it because his name was not on the deed. So she out smarted him too. Who in their right mind would want to move into that enormous house and have him further humiliate and rub his favorite wife and kids in your face. Even Christine’s kids did not want her to make that move. Kody and Robyn have dragged these women along for their money they both are users grifters and they deserve each other neither one is educated and have careers other than being on a reality show that will end someday. No PR team can make these grifters look good they are horrible
Kody wasn't hot about living all in one house until after the vacation with the Dargers. He wanted to be just like them, but lacks the discipline and financial standing to do that.

During the one house proposal, Robyn did not say yes or no during this presentation. That speaks volumes that she did not want to let the wives know how she felt. She had never lived plural marriage. I cannot imagine she wanted to live under one roof with the other wives ever.
Robyn (and Meri) let Christine take the fall on opposing the one big house. Kody refuses to acknowledge that Robyn never actually wanted to be integrated into the family, nor the one big house. And Meri only would have went along with it to get affection or a even regular phone call from her husband. She didn't seem to want it either. Kody is such a pig.
I see that Kody played the game of withdrawing Christine's love language: intimacy. That was the first huge strike. The Ysabel odeal was what gave Christine the knowledge of her own strength
When Kody and Robyn do those "rewrite" narratives, hoping to mislead the audience, they are actually making things worse for themselves because everyone knows they are lying and being deceptive.
It actually shows how inhumane they are. It shows they are incapable of reflection, remorse, and accountability.
For someone who didn't want "one family" Christine sure has a lot of them still around even though she left. Kody can't see that her not wanting one house in no way meant she didn't want the family. She would welcome Robyn's kids with open arms. We can't say the same thing about Kody and Robyn with the other kids. One house or four, they still wouldn't have anything built on CP.

No. She was already on the way out. He was pitching a fit after she said no & trying to punish her & bribe her into behaving how he wanted. He was still in but flailing around in desperation trying to get her to bend to his will. He still hasn't quit with Christine.
She didn't want to put her money into one house & be trapped. Kody knew there were problems in 3 of his marriages in Vegas. He wanted them out of the houses they owned without him, so they moved to Flagstaff where he tried to put as much of their money into property with his name on it. He then pushed the big house so that if anyone left, their money would be tied up in a strange sub-divided house that would be near impossible to sell and that would be in his name.
Kody is such an a**. He went behind the OG3’s back to get that house designed (pretty sure Robyn knew about it) - divided it unevenly - because of course Robyn needs more than anyone else - and there is no way he DIDN’T know that the house would have never gotten approval from the city/town to build. No matter how many times he spun it, it was never a “single family” home. And he’s on tape saying as much. 🙄🤦♀️
Add to that the fact that they would not be able to afford to build that house to begin with. Another failure on Kody’s leadership abilities… or lack of.

The one house idea was stupid. He never asked the women what they wanted in the house. You don't just present something like that and expect everyone to go along. 100%! And I know Robyn's lil friend, Kendra, said "it's Christine's fault Kody wasn't there, she chose to go to NJ to get the surgery!" The reason why Christine chose to go to NJ is because that hospital is the best in the country, they specialize in pediatric spinal surgeries. Scoliosis surgery is a risky surgery, if they're off by even a few CM's, you're paralyzed, they're literally drilling screws into your spine, it has one of the longest and most painful recoveries of ANY surgery as well. THAT is why Christine wanted her daughter to go to the best hospital in the country, what mother wouldn't want that if it were possible!? If Kody loved his daughter more than himself or his pencil-box needs then he'd want ger to have the best too! This is just another example of Kody being a deadbeat dad. Ko-Ro are incapable of any form of accountability, it's always deflection and blame shifting, it's beyond played out at this point, it's boring to even watch.
I feel pretty sure that Robyn wouldn’t have agreed to one home when it came down to it. Since Christine wanted nothing to do with the one house option I think Robyn felt she didn’t have to say she didn’t want one house and let Christine take the blame. Nothing about Robyn has shown she’s even interested in having relationships with the OG wives, much less live in one house with them.
I do remember Robyn making the comment “she learned the other 3 wife’s didn’t like to to be in one house in Lehe”, she did the whole fake “she didn’t know it was that bad” scenario too

Did anyone catch in the episode when he was trying to show off the house. At the most inappropriate time during Christmas. He acted so offended because. it had cost him so much to have the plans made. Literally no one asked him to draw up the plans in the first place. If he’s complaining about the cost of that. He is not about to build that house.

These "conversations" between K&R are so fake as she pretends to ask him questions and he pretends to answer. As if this wasn't all planned out on index cards and practiced! And Kody had one objective with the one house thing. Kissing Robyn's a$$. He could tell the wives, "If you don't want to treat Robyn like a queen, you can leave my castle. And leave with nothing." Same with the kids. Anyone not giving Robyn the respect she deserved could be sent away and shunned by the others who were willing to comply just to have a roof over their heads. If any of the older kids wanted to come back to see him, they had to pass the Robyn test. It had nothing to do with wanting to be with his family. It had to do with controlling the family and banishing any who rebelled and rewarding those who were loyal. He couldn't banish them while they were in their OWN homes.

Robyn has always been jealous of Christine whom she counted as her most worthy most threatening competitor. Robyn did not have room in her heart for Truly either. It would be nice if TLC would give Kody and Robyn and the five preferred children their own show. She hasn’t gonna go back to the one house business because he had already burnt that bridge. He already started smoldering when they moved to Flagstaff, and he promised her that every day if she moved to Flagstaff, every day would be her birthday every day would be special and she did, and he lied because the minute they moved to Flagstaff, and everybody was separated. They gave him the excuse not to be over at the house. The second thing was she explained why she did not want to be in the big house. She did not want to look at their marriage. She did not want to see that, but also to she said if they were in the one house, he would never be on her end of the house anyway, so why do it and she did not want to go back to being the basement wife she explained that to Robin thoroughly when they were in Vegas she explained the whole thing to her when Robin went over to Christine‘s house. I may be there in Flagstaff but I’m sure it was Vegas. She spent the day at Christine’s, Christine made her something to eat and they were having this conversation and Christine was explaining to her what a basement why I was like and that she was not going to do it that was years ago.
Robyn never wanted the 1 house either. She wouldn't even let Ysabel stay in the McMansion during her recovery from back surgery. I'm sure the OG3 would have welcomed her into their homes, even Meri, but Robyn is a selfish, greedy hag.

Christine whether natural or brought up this way ,She is a people person. She was a teacher, team player, a mom, good cook, a good worker & the keeper of family matters. Like birthdays & holiday party planner ect. For the most part Christine tried to be a good SW to all the wives . Kody was stupid to kick her to the curb and treated her like dirt like he did. The biggie house was never a real thing. Coyote Pass is not zoned for multi family houses. Kody could have requested a zoning variance, but that requires that all abutters be notified. At the variance hearing, those abutters could say no way and that would stop the zoning variance. Kody thinks we are all stupid.
I have seen someone else make this comment too. So he didn’t even check the zoning laws before spending wasted money on this vision board.

When Kody chose not to got to the surgery with his daughter and she woke up crying for her father after the surgery it broke my heart. I would have made the same discission as Christine. God put it in her heart to leave Kody.

You are right James. Let's not get caught up in who we "like or dislike". The facts are the facts. And this family, meaning the adults (all of them) were complicit in creating the narrative of the tv series (and the book). They should all take accountability for their actions and how it affected their marriages and children.
There would have been no equity for the OG3. Kody & Robin got Janelle's $ and Meri's money, but Christine got her equity.

Kody wanted the giant house so that when he ran the other wives off, he’d have the whole thing with Robyn alone. He was probably hoping they’d be locked into the loan and forced to pay for something he made a nightmare to be in at all.
After my seeing many women, over the years, who have been abused, Christine really acts and reacts like someone who’s been a victim of abuse. You don’t have to strike someone to be abusive. He may have berated, belittled, or shamed her. She answers questions in a manner that reflects that she may be trying to satisfy and appease someone. Looking back at those old episodes throw up a lot of red flags that should’ve been given attention way back then.
He is such a liar. They never could have afforded the house he presented on the show. Nor, did it even make sense to build it. How on earth would they have ever gotten their money out of that home in resale? Bottom line is they would not be able to build that home on Coyote Pass, it was not zoned for that type of home. It was for single family homes. Granted they are a single family, according to them, but there were multiple homes in that home.
He never intended to build that house. It was just something he could use to hold against them. He did break up with Christine by telling her he would not have an intimate relationship with her. You are correct that Christine’s last straw was how he treated Ysabel during her surgery. Not did he help Christine pay for it. He was so awful to his daughter and how disrespectful he was to them.
There is an episode where robyn goes to Christine's house and Christine explains to Robyn why she didn't want the one house. She's acting like she doesn't know why christine felt that way
I bet Christine saw the footage of him explaining how he would manipulate Christine to move to Flagstaff and thought...not today Satan...not today😅
The most heartbreaking scenes was Isyobek waking up from surgery and calling for her daddy.
If they had moved in to the one home, Robyn would have been in total control of the wives. They would have had no say. The kids would still have been mistreated, probably even more because of Robyn’s behavior.
Christine absolutely refusing to go along with the one house was the turning point. Kody’s vision for coyote pass was a one house “compound”. Christine didn’t want the one house because her and Kody’s relationship was way past fixing. Kody could have saved himself a lot of grief over the one house would have been to gather his wives and talk to them about it. Instead Kody went and paid to have plans drawn up for the one house. After the property was purchased, Kody found out that each section (wive’s living space) could not have a private entrance. All the wives would have to come and go through the one entrance. The wives would get to watch Kody going on dates with other wives while they were ignored.
Great video. One correction: It was not any one thing that causes Christine to leave. Kody antics involving Ysabel's surgery was the last straw.

Robyn is always “confused”…. She should try to gather up all the empathy she has and just watch the series and she should understand and be much less confused. Can she imagine staying in a marriage where her husband tells the world he’s disgusted by her, has never loved her and that she’s a bad sister wife even though she raised all the children in the family (without a nanny at that!). What kind of “abuse” did Robyn object to in her first marriage?

It’s shocking that Kody allocated 3500 square feet of the one house to Robyn and allocated half that to each of the other wives. He didn’t hide his favoritism from the other wives. Just claiming Robyn found favor and she was a better wife doesn’t come close to explaining why Robyn always got more than everyone else.

This BS of Kody saying that Robyn can do no wrong is part of what blew up the family. Janelle referenced this several times. It's simply ridic, nobody is perfect. Allowing Robyn to have no faults IRL and then she gets to go on camera and give nothing personal of her relationships but insert herself into or comment on everyone elses made for a toxic situation that should not be tolerated.
