I've been living here for 16 years and haven't taken advantage of the fishing here but less than a handful of times...that is changing. Im starting up this weekend and hopefully I can get the sheepies like you are...they taste great
Awesome man, look up Salt Strong, they rock for salt water info. Rigging your shrimp weedless is the way to go for fishing structure like bridges. Also if ya haven’t subscribed, please do!! New videos coming this week!!
Sheepshead may still be around, but in fewer numbers. Tarpon have moved in and silver mullet imitations would work great for them. Slab-o-lures work great on tarpon and Gotcha plugs are always sure fire with a fast or slow retrieve popping the rod as your bringing it in for smaller species. My Redfish, mackerel, and Jack pb video will show how i retrieve them!! Good luck!!!
Please don’t forget to like and subscribe!!! Big things are coming for me and these channels this year! Very, very excited! Drone footage coming soon also 🤙
Awesome, I know I’m a bit late to this, but please like and subscribe for me, got some really big things coming this year, including some drone footage. Videos are going to be much more enjoyable soon!! Thanks and I hope I was helpful on putting some fish in the cooler 😎🤙
@Fresh & Salt Fishing I subscribed back then lol! I actually caught a few sheepshead and snook on our trip! I'll keep an eye out for your upcoming vids!
@@BreamBassBeyond awesome, thanks so much for the support, and I’ll do my best to make some far better content this year. Shaping up to be really awesome already 😎🤙
They’re really bad on the rocks, if ya stay away from the rocks though not really an issue. I stood close to or barely in the water and was fine into the dusk and after sun set hrs
I was performing a 24 hr pile load test at the Sanibel Library back in the day and was on the 5pm to 11pm shift. Once it was dark I was eaten alive. No one mentioned to bring insect repellent. Learned my lesson lol.

What do you do to avoid the sand mites/no see um's? I was eaten alive the last time I stood South of the bridge
