I rewound my machine after a bobbin ran out, and now the needle isnt coming down. Any idea how to correct this ?
Hi when we do this on our mt 1501 it will rewind but will not resume until after the point when it reached the break. Is there any idea on how to fix ?
I learned how with a technician from Ricoma - the lttle switch/lever that lights up green must be set in the upwards position to blinking red. It will stitch from where it is rewinded to - if it is downward and solid green, it will "float" until the point where it was stopped or rewound from. You may also use the F.H. (float high-speed) and F.L. (float low-speed) to navigate easier to where you want to go forward or backward - hope this helps anyone needing more info to do with my question

Did have to hit the switch on yours ?
Thank you so much your a life saver!
Thanks for the info! I just tried this cause I ran out of bobbin but when I rewound it the that spot I wanted to go over it ran but but presser foot wasn't going down and it didn't stitch over where it needed to. Any fix for this? Thanks
I keep hearing more and more of people having this problem and I honestly have no idea. That's never happened to me. I'm sorry! I'd take a video of it next time and put in a support ticket with Ricoma.
@@KaylaKrische I think I got it figured out thanks for your quick reply!
@Rico Gonzales what did you do for it to start stiching?
@Julian Barrios I flipped the toggle switch up to red and that was the trick. I forgot to post that on here when I figured it out with help of a gal on a fb group.
@Rico Gonzales thanks I looked it up on the machine Manual and got it down haha
you are the best, thanks for this video!!!!
You’re able to do that or you’re also able to hit your stop button and it automatically starts going backwards some stitches is that correct? Because I also have the TC 1501
Does it? I've never had mine automatically go back. I've always had to make sure I was in F.L. and then press stop.
@@KaylaKrische I will crear a vidoo to show wait i mean
Hi! I was wondering if you ever ran into the problem where you selected how many stitches you’d like to go back, press start but it doesn’t actually stitch? It starts the the needle isn’t going
Hi Charity! No I haven't. Are you out of F.L. mode when you start stitching? That's the only thing I can think of.
I get that same issue
Same issue it doesn’t actually start stitching where you set it, just picks up from where you had the thread break detection. Which isn’t any help most of the time because a couple stitches were missed before the break was detected and can’t get the machine to redo them.
On the Mt-1501, after rewinding, you would then flip the switch up. It'll turn red, and then you're set. It is located on the right side of the machine next to needle 1. Hope that helps
omg thank you for this video
Thank you
Thank you❤❤
Can you do this with the em 1010?
Yes I can! I'll post one tomorrow afternoon.
I wish it had a forward feature
It does! Once you're in F.L., start is forward and stop is rewind.
Wow! Thank you!
Perfect. Thank you so much. I just tried it, it worked.
hi i rewinded but now it does not want to embroider it again for some reason
Once you got to where you wanted did you click it out of float mode into embroider mode?
Mine too. It started moving like it was embroidering but needle didn’t do any movement
@@ocast32 could be a lil stopper in the middle, I can show you I fixed mine
@@Jsanchezzz877 that will be helpful. Thanks a lot
This does not work! Smh
Sorry you're having a hard time rewinding your stitches. This is in fact the steps to do so. Perhaps I can help you, are you putting you mode into Float Low?
