The museum appears to be awesome in its design and collections. However, based on the many visible staircases, I have to wonder how accessible it is to handicapped/disabled visitors. Have these special needs been addressed? Need to know for possible future visit.
Every video I find about this thing is over the top state produced propaganda or "influencers" who were barely allowed to visit the deserted lobby. Tourism is the #1 revenue source for Egypt, but the government has no idea when this thing will be done after almost 20 years....not sure I want to visit a country that can't finish a building and could randomly close it while your are visiting on a very expensive trip....
