I got some of these recently, if you are in the market for a clicky switch they are the best switch possible, I had some box jades before(what a lot of people consider the king of clicky switches) and these feel and sound like 10x better they are actually amazing
While it still doesn't quite have the full bassiness of real Alps switches, the plastic build and very resonant keycaps combine with the full and sharp click of the steel leaf to make for a very nice and satisfying sound. The Alps DNA is definitely audible here.
for the longest time i thought i hates clicky switches because i pretty much only new cheery mx blue style ones. but ever since i looked into other types, i must say they can have a certain charm to them.
@@jezzuz8595 , a lot lighter or just a little? Sometimes Box Jade’s are just a bit too fatiguing for me to use for a long time, but I do really like the weighting and wouldn’t want to step down too much I take this to mean you haven’t tried the heavier version? This could keep the nicer feeling while having a weighting that’s closer to Box Jades
@@jammies701 i havent tried the heavier clickiez but the lighter ones do feel quite a bit lighter than box jades although the tactile bump its self is close to the peak weighting of jades after the bump it’s basically feather light
They feel very good super smooth the weighting feels most similar to amber alps. The main difference between these and alps switches that I can tell are they are less clacky, and the tactility is much sharper feeling I think because it lacks the round feeling that alps contact plates give, I would also prefer less tactile variants more similar to how white alps and blue alps are weighted but over all I think the actual click feel is pretty close to actual alps and feels very meaty
@@Sh0yo i have the 40 gram variants and while the tactility is extreme its not fatiguing to me due to the light spring weighting and i like relatively light switches and my fingers get fatigued pretty easily
Oh goodness, box whites will probably feel linear compared to these. A friend of mine gave me some 40g clickiez and they are the most tactile switch I have ever tried, period. I have not gotten to try alps though.
@@jebclarianes5419 nah they are still much more high pitched and tinny sounding but they do sound more like alps than box or click jacket switches because the click is a similar sound to the bottom out
Lovely full typing sound. Nice to see something different than the trend of very monotone sounding boards.
Where can i buy this exact keyoard its so good

I agree these are probs the best mx clicky I would just really prefer to have less tactile variants
10x better for 10x the price...
I mean for $12 you can get 36 box jades or 10 clickiez... I was excited at first until I saw the price...
@@tristan6509 yeah the price is a little steep. I hope other manufacturers try to make a cheaper option.
@@maoraharon21 It's Zeal, so, unlikely
Did the 40g weighting feel ok? I’m stuck between the 75 and 40 after using Box Jades
I honestly prefer the plastic case builds. The metal ones kind of ruin the sound of the switches for me.
wow that's even crazier than my lav mic setup LOL
Can’t wait for my clickiez to arrive. These sound great

Wow sound just like Alps I love it
Sounds really nice with the sa caps

Heavenly
What microphone is that? Great sound test 👌
Any thoughts on the weighting vs. Box Jades?
they are lighter and more tactile than box jades but i prefer the weighting of jades more

Sounds really nice! How do you think these feel compared to other click leaf switches, namely Alps/clones?

very cool
Have you tried kailh box white v2 and how would you compare them to clickiez?

now this is cute
what stabalizers do you use?
on this keeb im using durock v2
This or Box Whites? I use Box Whites for my keyboard
i prefer the heavier weighting of the pinks but whites are probs better for extended use
Box noble yellows are an excellent middle ground between whites and pinks. Weighting and tactility-wise it's very similar to regular blue switch
Funny, I ordered the clickies to put into a board with those same WoB Mt3 caps. Spoiler alert lol
omg nice
What's your keycap?
domikey sa profile keycaps

a really deep and thocky click sound, but still bad (IMO) because I don't like the clicky sound, imo all clickies SUCK di--
