i don't know if i am a little bit late for this but can you recommend the Kailh Jade or White v2 for competitive gaming like csgo, apex, LoL and casual typing Any other recommendation ? Thankyou for the hard work
For gaming I would go with a light one with short travel, like the Kailh Speed Bronze. Great switch. For typing you could take the same one, but that depend of your preference. It’s not a very tactile switch. My new go to would be the BOX White V2. Could be a great choice for gaming to. But if you really want something more heavy and tactile for typing, I would go with Kailh White Owl, but not sure it would be great for gaming due to the weight…
Just by closing my eyes and using only my ears, the Kailh Box Navy and Kailh Box Jade sounded the best. Tha Zeal Clickies were amazing sounding too, wish they were not 40g tho.
Don't get confused with their 40g rating which just represents the bottom-out force, though. These are still pretty heavy with an actuation point at around 65 to 70g! I run them daily and I wouldn't call them "light". To me, these switches feel heavier than Kailh Box Pinks and are just slightly less intimidating than Kailh Box Navy. There's also the Clickiez 75g version but that's something I only use with modifiers (perfect for a clicky spacebar IMHO).
Agreed, the Jades and the Navy's sounded best. I just ordered the jades for my main keys and might order the Crystal Royal's or Robin's (non-click but super sharp V bump and equal return) for my other keys such as control/shift/space/etc.
So far the only ones that appeal to me are the Zeal Clickiez, but I’m biased as I consider cherry profile switches to be all too similar. Now, if someone manufactured reliable Omron B3G-S, I’d be stoked!

The only non mx compatible keycaps are rubber domes keyboards keycaps (non mechanical), some logitech keyboards that use other type of switches and Mattias keyboards that use Alps compatible keycaps... Not at all! That depend on your preferences... Some do not like heavy switches and some really like them... I personally think Navies are great typing switches!
I can’t find kailh pro light greens anywhere
check here : mechanicalkeyboards.com/shop/index.php?l=product_detail&p=4120
i don't know if i am a little bit late for this but can you recommend the Kailh Jade or White v2 for competitive gaming like csgo, apex, LoL and casual typing
Any other recommendation ?
Thankyou for the hard work
White V2 for sure, they will be less fatiguing and youll be faster.
Which one is best for gaming and another one for typing in general?
For gaming I would go with a light one with short travel, like the Kailh Speed Bronze. Great switch. For typing you could take the same one, but that depend of your preference. It’s not a very tactile switch. My new go to would be the BOX White V2. Could be a great choice for gaming to. But if you really want something more heavy and tactile for typing, I would go with Kailh White Owl, but not sure it would be great for gaming due to the weight…
@@ClickandThock thanks much for this!
I had the regular blues, and I think I'm already scarred for life.

you should honestly include unlubled box royals because they get a super distinct click
Never try these, so unlubed they become clicky?
@@ClickandThock its an issue with tactile kailh boxes. Once the lube on the actuating pin wears off they make a very distinct click sound
Can someone tell me if the sherbet clicks before actuation (like the box switches) or after? Can't seem to find information about this online
Have not notice actuation before click.
Which is the thocky clicky in your opinion my friend? and which is the most quite clicky? Thank you mate
Humm good question, I have not tested a really thocky clicky switch so far... Should test a long pole stem in a POM clicky switch! :o
thank you mate ^^

Just by closing my eyes and using only my ears, the Kailh Box Navy and Kailh Box Jade sounded the best. Tha Zeal Clickies were amazing sounding too, wish they were not 40g tho.
There is a heavier version of the zeal Clickiez! I should test them too!
@@Nickrii Thanks!
Agreed, the Jades and the Navy's sounded best. I just ordered the jades for my main keys and might order the Crystal Royal's or Robin's (non-click but super sharp V bump and equal return) for my other keys such as control/shift/space/etc.
i wish you make the outemu more
I plan to!! :)
So far the only ones that appeal to me are the Zeal Clickiez, but I’m biased as I consider cherry profile switches to be all too similar. Now, if someone manufactured reliable Omron B3G-S, I’d be stoked!
Yeah! Love the B3G-S! I have a bunch but 60% of them are dead… 😅
the amount of work you put into these videos is literally fucking insane bro.. im trippin nutsacks right now
Wow thanks, that's appreciated! :) Yeah, many many many late night hours!!
@@ClickandThock i need a top thocky vid, i see ton of clicky ones maybe i missed it
@@ttvdizturb3d that could be done!
@@ClickandThock no pressure no rush just think it would be interesting, and also beneficial for the channel i think there is a bigger crowd for thocky then clicky!! thock is the thing right now
Awesome videos
Thanks mate!
My favorite is the blue gateron
These sharper than Mx blue IMO.
Heavy sages sound so damn GUD
If you like heavy tactile switches, that's for you!
Perhaps an extremely stupid question, as I am new to such things, but here goes...
I have a set of keycaps I love, but they are MX compatible. How do I determine which non-MX switches will still work well with MX compatible caps?
hum not sure to understand.. If your keycaps are mx compatible, they will fit on all of these switches and any regular switches! The only non mx compatible keycaps are rubber domes keyboards keycaps (non mechanical), some logitech keyboards that use other type of switches and Mattias keyboards that use Alps compatible keycaps... Hope it help...
I like cherry mx blue and I want to find some alternates
Can I ask which switch is similar to cherry mx blue for sound and feeling?
The most similar switches similar in feels to mx blues are Pro Light Green, Speed Gold and Gateron blue! But if you want something similar but more premium and better, INK Blue!
where the linier/silent switch round up????
Working on one! :)

Ok, it's Jade|White V2 for me. But I can't find any keyboard with those switches. One would need to buy the parts and build the keyboard, but I wouldn't trust myself with that, haha.
ahah that's okay! Yeah not many companie have these options.. Try this one, you have the option to put Jade in it! skyloong.vip/collections/gk96-keyboard/products/skyloong-gk96-dye-sub-dolch
Want the best click jacket switch you can possibly make? Put Outemu Phoenix stems in Jwick T1 housings...

thanks you so much 👍
Thank you!! :)
As a clicky enthusiast. This makes me happy.
Thanks! No foam next time, let the switches really sing!
Planing to make a series with roomy case! Thanks!
@@ClickandThock Yesssss
Thank you for this vid, currently on box pinks, not sure if I should make the jump to white owls. Are you using white owl v2 or v1 in this video? Is there a difference?
Im using the V2 but I honestly dont really know difference with the V1 ahah! Thanks for you comment!
Hola, muy buen video!! Pero tengo una pregunta, soy un aficionado de los videojuegos así como también de los switches clicky, cual serían los mejores switches clicky para jugar??? Tomando en cuenta el peso y la distancia de activiacion, etc.
Check for kailh super speed bronze! Thank you!
When the linier switch round up will came out
Few weeks, sorry for the delay, I had to sound test all the linear switches I had here, maybe 4 videos to go and after I will be able to work on this ultimate compilation (it will be HUGE)..
Why they never add the reaction force … this is so important
