@@balaji-kartha BS. Tesla has created the most polarizing design in the automotive world. There's a good reason we haven't seen anything like it before - it's an afront to good taste. The Great thing about electric motors is you can run'em independently for specific operations, say, for instance, analyzing a crash/slide in real-time and sacrificing the tires if needed. Like aluminum "hitting" a magnet.

Yeah as @TheEvilmooseofdoom notes, it's some EU standards for pedestrians. The Cybertruck has crumple zones, especially since the dashboard is long, even though the hood of the car is short.
The CyberTruck, if it performs as promised, will be a game changer as would a large Tesla Van for commercial and consumer use. However the Tesla that is going to out sell all Tesla put together is the soon to be built product from Mexico. That will be a car for the masses, price wise, and will be the vehicle that bankrupts some of the current ICE companies. I'd love to have a CyberTruck however spending $60-$70k+ on a vehicle is not in my future. An affordable EV and I'm in. I'm not a "car guy".
