    I know it's not the fastest most powerful muscle car but for me is all about the balance, history, heritage, enjoyment, and sheer presents. Awesome piece of machinery Mr. Shelby would definitely approve.

      Vivos71 I totally agree! If I had the money I would buy a Ferrari and put a million miles on it because car are ment to be driven not collect dust.

    • @Miatacrosser
      @Miatacrosser 8 лет назад

      +Nick Parker Well believe it or not, Ferrari would never let you buy a new one if you put that many miles on one you managed to purchase new from them. They have this thing about not putting any miles on their cars and that goes into who is allowed to continue to purchase their new models.
      I agree with you, though I would rather put a million miles on this car than any Ferrari.

    • @apollo4657
      @apollo4657 8 лет назад +5

      +TheArfdog it bothers me because they price a car like this out of reach for a lot of people out of pure greed. That's why the dealer Association is going so hard after Tesla. When you buy a Tesla you buy it directly from the manufacture. No bullshit mark up from a dealer. Believe me I understand people have to make a living, but the mark a $60,000 car into six-figure range is completely ridiculous.

      Its the power of special Fords, 7 years down we wont even see big v8s, cuz everythin s gonna die out by 2020, so in that time cars like these r gonna fetch owners 2x-3x dealer prices, Fords dealers kno that and thats what makes em sell with even such monstrous price tags
      Add to it Ford has way better brand image than FCA and GM, if not such a price tag wouldnt have brought customers to Ford,
      I ve seen some dealers trying such stuff with Z28 and end resut was it stayed in dealers lots, while Ford is selling like hot cakes

    • @Jimmyxsx
      @Jimmyxsx 8 лет назад

      +Steven Simpkins actually it will maintain peak HP at 8000rpm, HP TUNERS even released a tune for the 5.0L automatics that manipulates the TiVCT so that it keeps making power at 8000rpm.
      there is a lot of 5.0 coyote engines being spun 8000Rpm+ it will probably not last as long as a flat plane crank unless the top end gets built properly.

      +scterka
      Dude thats because Fords brand value is way above what the competition can imagine of, trysuch bump ups for Chevy or Dodge nobody ll turn to the dealer, whereas for special Ford vehicles like GT350,350R, Ford Raptor, Ford GT, upcoming Focus RS, all will have resales 2x-3x times its sticker price within 7 years, thats why such prices still get buyers for Ford,
      Heck I say Ford even though is not best seller in USA has better image than GM and FCA

    • @tericainyaass6486
      @tericainyaass6486 8 лет назад

      +Ponygt 662 No it's because GM and Dodge will build as many as people would buy but Ford likes to artificially limit production numbers for their Hi-Po cars which is a pretty good business model I'll give em that.

    • @ponygt6629
      @ponygt6629 8 лет назад +1

      Tericainyaass ™
      See even if GM said it will sell just 1000 Z06s people wont stock over and drool over it and the price wont go as high as Fords prices go
      Ford even though it seems like a weaker brand in some peoples mind is a more powerful brand, in fact Ford is the most powerful American brand by a long shot
      www.forbes.com/powerful-brands/list/#tab:rank
      Check this list, Ford is almost in the neck of Audi in brand power, I know its difficult to digest but once we get to Europe you will understand what I mean, in Europe GM has 0 image, and we all know how much quality fed people Europeans are and the only US brand that survived Europe is Ford, they are 4th best seller in Europe too, best is VAG,2nd PSA, 3rd Renault-Nissan group.
      But more than sales the image Ford has made with cars like Fiesta,Focus,Mondeo and specially their sporty derivatives is so damn huge that GM/Dodge cannot come evn close to it, and most people know that investing in a special Ford is only likely to appreciate in value rather than depreciate
      That said I am not telling GM/FCA is weak but they too are damn cool, but Fords brand power is strong, it wont take a beating that easily

    • @ponygt6629
      @ponygt6629 8 лет назад +2

      *****
      I agree tgat the z06 is a better car than gt350r dude, see I am a Ford guy cuz I drive a Fiesta ST and GM dosent have anything like that innits line up,
      Ford is the onlu brand on earth to have FWd,AWD,RWD,performance cars and a proper mid engine rwd super car and a super truck the Raptor, lets leave that
      See I like GM too, I love the C7 Stingray as its worlds cheapest and most affordable supercar, I love Cadillac CTS and ATS too,
      See but the value Ford cars can pull with special edition and limited edition vehicles are due to its brand power,
      Ford survived Europe while Chevy ,Cadillac failed hard , its not easy to survive in Europe among sea of Beemers,Audis,etc which sell like Toyotas in Europe, the image special edition Fords have is a lot better than GM special vehicles thats why people r ready to pay such insane price tags

    But the Flat Cranks burn oil big time. Car- Drivers Burn a extra 21.5 Qts, of 5w-50 in 40,000 miles. Fords owner's manual stating that the. Engine might consume a quart every 500 miles.

      +Emerald13 Limited allocations. Big dealers get 6 or 7, small dealers that sign up get 1 or 2. Depends on mustang sales, so the truck only dealers won't see them. Thats for the normal GT350. The R is even more limited due to supply issues on the CF wheels. So the big dealers get 1 or 2 and small dealers get none.

      If you, or anyone else is interested in buying a GT350, or GT350 R, & you're worried about its 0-60, or 1/4 mile ET, then go seek help!! By the way the only reason a stock GT350 is a low 12 car is because it's a manual! If they were automatic's they would be mid 11's bone stock. Congrats on your boosted GT hitting 10's, but put your GT on a track/course vs a Stock N/A GT350R, & it will get absolutely destroyed

    now, i’m starting anything but i remember i use to hear Ford can’t build a naturally aspirated high horse power motor, they need a power adder (supercharger) from the factory. now here’s a smaller displacement v8 making 526hp. i haven’t heard GM or Chrysler build anything naturally aspirated from the factory making close to that. the coyote voodoo 5.2liter is absolutely the best power plant by far in comparison to it’s competitors. naturally aspirated & FORD, did it in a major way💯

      +Slac adjuster these two are on a different league. I understand the gellcat being fast but being quick? the GT350R is quicker car. even if they will compare each other, the mustang will take the win.

      this car is about handling, its geared for road courses so that it can deliver its power smoothly, just like the Z/28. the Z/28 has a huge 7.0L and its even slower than the GT350.

    90 percent of drivers will short shift it , no one is used to a 8 grand red line, cars only real issue to me.

      @jrvbamafan1 6 лет назад +1

      radioguy1620 that's not an issue that a plus....there are plenty of drivers that are use to a car that revs that high

    • @radioguy1620
      @radioguy1620 6 лет назад

      maybe so but probably not among the older folks who can afford one . dont get me wrong i just saw or rather heard one go by the other day and my all time favorite, a high revving engine requires you to make a commitment to go fast a lower rev torque motor , not so much .

      +Random Reviews You do know that the Hellcat has 701 bhp, you would probably have to pray every time you drive it so you won't crash, and also the 350R isn't the only overrated muscle car out there, the two Hellcats are probably the most overrated next gen muscle car out there, and its almost as overrated as the GTRs and Veyrons.

    • @MrRandomReviews
      @MrRandomReviews 8 лет назад

      +Michael Bartholomew i agree about the GTRs being waayyy overrated but to be honest i dont see how the hellcats are. 700hp with ALL the comforts for $70k besides some reviews i rarely see any talk about hellcats on the other hand people cant seem to shut uo about gtrs and mustangs even though both those platforms are outdated as hell. but these are all my opinions and every one has different tastes
