    Hallo,
    WoW…wonderful track you have set up… Great…
    High compliments…👍👍
    We like it a lot seeing those kinds of buggies on a proper track racing.
    It is a very welcome alternative way of using them in comparison to speed-run and bashing with them again and again…and again… 🙏
    OK, some of these buggies, mainly the one with the shorter wheelbase can not be the best track-performer, because it just needs certain proportions for racing a buggy in a consistently fast flow on a challenging track…
    And I would judge your track as quite challenging…mainly in the sense of finding the right balance in racing it between being fast and avoiding mistakes…
    Because like we… 😉 Racers know: such balance is the key factor for successfully racing…🧐
    The fastest possible line does not give the best result, when I can not keep it without mistakes over the given racing-time…
    Therefore, it would be very interesting, if you would provide more actual lap timing information… 🙏
    For this video-session there is no doubt that you could achieve much better actual race results with the LC setup….it looks to me like pretty close to good race capability. Like you mentioned, the Team Losi is too unpredictable in steering; but this is nothing impossible to change…
    And only actual timing could give the answers, which are the faster race lines and strategies…
    • Like jumping the “back-cross-over” in one, or driving it controlled constantly fast in steps…?
    • Similar about the jump and corner right before the big banged turn…there I am also not sure, what the fastest way would be… 😉😂😊…
    Keep on having a great RC FUN time…!!! 🍀
    Thorsten 🌞

      Love your comment my man 🙏. I took a some time to build the track. Then I had to learn how to drive fast on it.
      The short wheelbase car and the long wheelbase cars are both amazing around the track but drive very different. I have several videos of all my short wheelbase with lap times. Il definitely make several of just the long wheelbase.
      question... has there ever been a short wheelbase racer?
      I would love to read about it and find out what the advantages/disadvantages are in comparison. The emb-1 is extremely nimble so now you have me really thinking about this.
      I have so many videos of me just talking then ill go back and listen to myself and say "no" thats wrong then make another video video proving my point of correction.
      I have so many questions to ask you I don't even know where to start so I'll make a video continuing this conversation. Thank you again for this amazing response to my video and hope to hear more feedback from you. 🙌

      I definitely agree with you now that I have had more time with it. I ordered tires. Springs kit, shocks was thinking about a faster motor but I'm almost thinking 30mph is the sweet spot for this car. I'm definitely giving the mini b another try but built correctly.
      Any suggestions?

      @@ixclusiverc I'm just now trying to figure it out myself, definitely needs weight and higher viscosity shock oil. I picked up some lead tire weight stickers for it. Getting the steering geometry right right is tough on these little cars, tiny adjustments make big differences... No doubt that the 30 is plenty fast it's incredibly hard to give it full throttle as is. So far I've found that tires make the biggest difference along with more weight and possibly a rear sway bar... We'll see, but it seems to have a lot of potential.

    Nice vid, so a couple things, have you ever tried the weight kit for the mini B?
    And if you had to pick as a budget racer (me) between the emb-1 pro kit or the bhc-1 kit, which one would you pick? Or maybe the rtr emb-1 that comes brushless already?

    • @ixclusiverc
      @ixclusiverc  Год назад +1

      That's a great question Jason, to be honest I love them all. But if I was to pick for a first time racer, I would absolutely pick the RTR. It comes ready to race out the box. I haven't posted videos on my RTR (Carnage & goku) that are now upgraded with just a motor 6200kv and perfect shock settings... I drive those 2 cars more then my sensored set up.
      I'm going to make a video for you with a little more detail about why I pick that one. 🤝🙌

      Hey Ronnie do you racecthe mini b? If so I'm curious what shock oil wt is most commonly used? I feel like the car drives well but its stock. Any tips would be great.

    On the hobbywing 60A ESC, can you add a Cap Pack to it to fix that issue?

    • @ixclusiverc
      @ixclusiverc  8 месяцев назад +1

      It comes stock with it on there not sure what the issue was but I switched the esc to my lc 12b1 on a 2850 5200kv with no issues. Couldn't have been a loose connection possibly but really not sure.

    mini b needs a servo saver ,. for sure

    • @ixclusiverc
      @ixclusiverc  8 месяцев назад

      I glued the stock servo saver fixed been running like this for a year now no issues. The stock play in that saver when stock made it un-driveable around the track.
      Do you recommend a servo saver that good I'm willing to try one...

      I'd honestly recommend not running a servo saver. Instead you'd want a steel or titanium geared servo.

      Depends on the conditions your driving. For track... mini b no question.
      For open dirt fields larger jumps wl. I think the eat14 is better then the wl for price to value. Its still a WL but $50 less

  • @VestedUTuber

    This is an unfair comparison. The Mini-B is a 2WD 1/16th buggy, the EMB-1 is 4WD and 1/14. A better comparison would be the EMB-1 vs the Mini 8IGHT, but unfortunately the Mini 8IGHT was discontinued quite a long time ago.

    • @ixclusiverc

      I compare the driving styles of cars that can be track driven. When someone asks me about two cars I have ill make the to show them side by side. Considering this video is a little older I have upgraded the mini b and can drive it much better. Cost per value the LC is in its own league.

      Then you might want to state that this is a 2WD vs 4WD comparison, rather than a "head to head" between two different platforms.

      @@VestedUTuber you believe someone looking to purchase one of the 2 most competitive carpet track cars need direction of what's 2wd and 4wd? 🤣

      @VestedUTuber 6 месяцев назад

      @@ixclusiverc
      Oh, so it _is_ a direct head-to-head comparison after all? Then I go back to my original statement - this is an unfair comparison. The difference between 2WD and 4WD is a big enough factor in their handling characteristics. You may as well be trying to compare a touring car to a monster truck. A 4WD car will always have significantly more forward grip and benefit more from a more aggressive driving style, at the expense of finesse and precision due to higher weight and a greater tendency to understeer. There's a reason we don't run the 1/10th scale 2WD and 4WD buggies in the same class.

    • @ixclusiverc
      @ixclusiverc  6 месяцев назад

      @@VestedUTuber and that goes back to my original statement 'When someone ask if I can run these 2 cars back to back so they can see a comparison to make a decision on what car they want to purchase".
      Your response is just like every other know it all racer. I can give 2 fucks about what you race. I was asked a question and I made a video the best of my ability. If your really that unhappy that I didn't label the title how you want it then I can absolutely see why rc racing is dead! I definitely don't want to be around a bunch of soft little boys!
