Hahaha, you are winning the 'most fun RC channel' price today from me. I just watched a few of our videos (I somehow got here via 'doing my own research' on buggies that I could drive well both on paved and unpaved surfaces). I actually have that Mini JRX2 since Christmas - still all stock - and it was giving me a ton of fun indoors (living room!), but it feels a bit slow on the local paved pump-track. I love the handling, but would probably prefer 1:10 sized car (especially for the gravel). I was kinda looking down on Traxxas (all of them, no mercy) - for really no other reason other then them being the most 'in' maker with a lot of proprietary stuff. But your videos on the Bandit is actually making me thing that the VXL could be just the right car without spending a lot more on a more professional buggies. Whatever your run next - just keep the videos coming - I actually laughed out loud a lot. But if I would be allowed a wish - I would love your take on some of the re-released buggies (Schumacher Cougar, Kyosho - Anything, Tamiya BBX onces out, etc). Also - tips on setting up a car are always welcome.
one of these days i'm going to make it to big dog rc again. the off road track use to be the dirt oval and the oval was a carpet oval when they first opened and i raced there a couple times before i moved to FL

I love spec-slash racing because no serious super-competitive racers would be caught dead in it. Just people who want to have fun. That was cool and amusing, track slippery for Marshalls today haha! I bought my JRX mini early last year. Only used it a few times, but that gave me a bit more inspiration to take to next meet for in-between-rounds fun

Ages ago there were fun classes where track wanted kids to marshal bc honestly at that age all you wanna do is merely touch the race cars and be a part of it. Did not matter to the racers if they messed up or got in way just a good time. Hope that was case here. Poor kid down at calamity corner. Now if Losi would get off their butts and make it 1/10. Id buy that over a 40th anniv. Now that is sayin somethin. Looked fun. -U10

Mini T/B is a fairly well attended class at our track. Never more than 10, but pretty regularly 5-6. They're so hard to drive, I have my throttle turned down to about 65% and same with steering. Other people have more outright top speed than me but the cars have so much power with the brushless systems, it's almost undriveable at 100% dual rate. You're 100% right though, rubber side down and avoid the pileups, and you're almost guaranteed to win. I had a 45 second lead on 2nd place last weekend at the end of the 6 minute A-main
I wish my local track would do this. They started a stock brushed Losi mini class before the jrx came out. I bought 4. 3 buggies and one mini t. The problem is most of the stock electronics are garbage. The esc was bad out of the box on one, and one was much slower than the other 3. It didn't take long, and the class was dead. Just an open mini class would be much better. 1/14 and under, run what you brung sounds good.
My favorite channel to hear different handling ideas to make the buggies go faster around the track. Nobody else does it like this :p I just finished building my losi mini b :p
I love watching the racing and racing trips, real slice of RC life stuff. One thing that would be cool is a little background on you and how you got here. In the credits there are clips of Moto, bicycle jumping and three wheeler chug/wheelies, I need to know more about the man behind the RC wheel.. Thank you for the great content, I miss RC racing and the shenanigans that are included.

Just following that Jared Tebo progression... lol MX is a young, small person sport. I've got an XL torso with shorter legs, never a great match.. lolz I grew up with 1/24 German slot cars, so I have always been drawn to the smaller end of RC. I still have 3 generations of Buds 1/18 cars that I may bring out of mothballs. The indoor track near me does Mini Z(multiple classes) and Mini Losi (any) [RCHQ]. They rotate track between these and the Tamiya trucks (1/14?). They just had a national qualifying regional race for Mini Z scale.
So I have a 1/18 scale short course truck made by Dromeda 4x4. Paid 100 for it years ago. Out of all my rc cars that I race. I always make sure to take that to the track with me. No one races them at my track by I love mini rcs
Just like the mini-b, the hot racing mini 8 spurs fit as well. Largest I could fit was 56/19. Still would wheelie but improved the speed. Hackfab sells them.
1. Love the videos. nice blend of racing, tuning, experimenting , and patter. overall very nice videography. 2. I live a little over 2 hours from Big Dog and have just gotten back into racing after 20 years out. great fun and I will be coming to race. 3. Bandito is pretty flushed out. please do the sway bar eval . 4. Slash is obviously next and needs some experimenting and flushing out. I cannot get over how much slop there is in the stock steering - I race stock slash currently. 5. When you list a component you are testing, could you use the description portion of the youTube frame - the gray section below the caption, to give the full name and part number? would be very helpful as I want to try some of the components myself. 6. I have a MiniB and really enjoy it. got the miniT for both of the grandsons for christmas. such a bargain price for the quality. I see this as a great entry for young ones and a hoot for us adults - well big kids. keep working on this. If I want to race these beyond my local track which uses stock motors only, I will need to get a brushless system it seems. a review of options would be useful. 7. What the heck was the setup for the green and yellow racer in that last race. He was motoring? 8. Hope to see you at Big Dog.
I had one of those 2in 1 from spectrum and I melted the motor right down . You should get the furitek sped cat it got a sensored motor that is 6700 Kv way faster than the spectrum
Dam I would have loved to race my Team Associated Reflex B on that track. It is a 1/14 scale not positive what scale they’re using not sure if I have the time to watch the whole video. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🇺🇸
Before the video ends, I just have one question! Or the rear hubs and rear suspension as sloppy as the jrx2 and the jrxt were! I love the suspension, however but stock out-of-the-box the hubs in the whole thing with just sloppy as hell! I ended up going to this standard swingarm configuration conversion kit, as well as did team drivers! But I was just wondering I love the small size I have for mini t I've yet to convert to brushless. Thanks for the video

I think the sound is the right universal interfering with the pinion/spur cover. I don't think this is a problem.

It was actually clicking since I took it out of the box. The screw going into the right out drive gear was too tight from the factory.
