This definitely proved something… that this little Bandito series you’re doing is a lot of fun!
P.S. Your voice levels are far too low compared to the rest of the sound if that’s something you can tweak in future videos.

@@mxacres Looking forward to this. I'm audio nerd and noticed this too. What video editing software are you using? Part of what makes it difficult is the stock audio clips most people on YT are using are really loud by default. So you have to do a combo of lowering the levels of the music and boosting (compression, eq, limiting, gain automation) of the recorded voice stuff....

It's fun to watch this. It really shows that much of R/C is the driving ability. If you have the right tires, and the tune is in the ballpark, it all comes down to driving ability.

I race at a dirt oval track here’s a few things for you to try. Take the diff out and remove the grease. Put wd40 in it instead or. If you want to really go into it. They make a plastic top shaft gear, aluminum idler gear, and a plastic diff. It’s what I run in my 2wd slash and I have the fasted slash at my track. There’s a video of my truck in my video of a race. I’d give this stuff a try and I make 3d printed parts if your interested in any. I have fan mounts for traxxas stuff.

I ran through the exact same things with my Rustler back in the day in Stock class. Good tires were the number 1 thing, then some suspension tuning. The stock shocks weren't bad, but the oil needed to be a bit heavier. I ended up going with stiffer springs in the back and softer springs in the front, because of that anchor of a Transmission sticks so far back there. I never achieved high results because I didn't put in the time; but I did well enough to have fun with it.
