Mark you're funny, I break more than that bashing in my yard LOL.
I loved it when you drove out of that bowl at decent speed and flew back. I got a laugh out of that and some of the other things you did. Awesome.

Your not kidding, when my son and I first started driving our first rc we went to a couple skate parks, broke some much stuff
that round bowl on its side was cool!
A friend of mine who drove his real life sand rail out on the Yuma dunes used to say "if you don't break something you didn't have fun"- I could never do that with a real car- but that's how I drive my RC's- go till you break
One of the reasons I don't like landing on concrete. I try to land on grass and dirt as well when I do big jumps. I only land on concrete by mistake. It's just too much damage to land on concrete. I got nothing to prove. Heck, I do enough damage when I land wrong on grass/dirt. Thanks for the video
Need more of this, bashing is the most fun of the hobby, and the repairs are just a part of it... i dont mind fixing up my cars and cleaning em, cant all be shelf queens, need some battlescars 😉😉😄

I think m2c has a shock set up with a delran piston I believe Rich duperbash has or shows his shock setup up for the sledge! Love the look of your rig highly considering this one!

Really can't blame them for selling so many TRX4Ms. There's been a lot of buzz around small-scale crawlers for a few years now - they're just so convenient to run, and so so fun!

I would def look into the M2C piston rings. Made a noticeable difference on my sledge

Just an FYI!! For those rear hinge pins on the back of the sledge get some of the XMaxx RPM hinge pins, part number 70510, have to slightly drill out the knuckle and front hole of control arm, and I mean just slightly (forget the drill bit size I used). But they are much stronger than the traxxas bolts. My nephew broke 3 traxxas bolts, and haven’t broken one yet since I installed RPM bolts.

You should get the M2C emulsion shock caps and pistons. Huge upgrade compared to stock!

Hey Mr Mark you got one of the fox racing slash the one with the new transmission and TSM Traxxas is out of them just wondering if you have one laying around would like to pick up one for my kid I know you have links on your video just need a little help finding the right video with the right stuff you used to do some with your wife that had a lot of your inventory but I can't find it and you are absolutely right about the 7600 they're the perfect battery in the drag slash and gives me a lot more run time for short course so thank you and keep doing what you're doing if you get a chance hobbywing is blowing my mind with their fusion motor I would definitely recommend it for your crawler

That was a good test, but landing on concrete has to be very hard on parts. When you land the wheels will stop instantly. Rubber grabs concrete very well. I think you hold the record for most parts broke in a review video for this truck.

I got the sledge and I'm loving it but I'm looking at the xrt or the Xmax what is everyone opinion on these two
Last time I ran my sledge at a skate park I ended up with a snapped motor shaft. Gave me an excuse to upgrade my motor but it cost me. 😅

I broke that same pin twice not even jumping it at a skate park just wide open through a field!!! Probably why it was backordered for a while obviously not strong enough.

I finally met up with DFW RC Bash & Crash a few weeks ago and I killed my Sledge too 😔
Do know if the X-Maxx Toe link for steering will fit on the XRT for steering. I've seen a few non adjustable aluminum inks for the X-Max on ebay not sure if there interchangeable.
The wide X-Maxx links would work. On the Traxxas brand links the rod ends pull out pretty easily if you bash hard.

You need balls of steel and a wallet that isn't lined with cobwebs to go bashing at a skatepark 😅. Went to one almost 6 years ago and my truck needed shocks, a-arms, drive shafts, bulkhead and hubs when I was done. Basically a new front end. First and only time I went to one. It's fun to watch other do it 😁👍
Yea the sp can be brutal unless you can land on grass , I excepted to have fun going break stuff even just using in bad elements rain snow , so I just use a arrma and the Maxx NY others I keep nice , about to take dbpro out bc it has lights wo a track it's a little boring , I have a 6s esc in her but only ran 4s so far .

Funny thing is I've purposely stopped bashing at a skate park , it's costly experience.
If your not prepared to keep spending , it's just not worth it . I'm happier bashing some off and on road and cars staying together much better .

There's a sign in front of the Frisco skatepark you went to that says RC cars aren't allowed. There's no one to enforce the rules really unless whoever watches the cameras there calls whoever's in charge.

This is why I never take my RCs to the skate park. You're just asking to break things if you do. Whenever I do huge jumps I either land on grass, or even better - sand. You can land head first into sand from a 30ft jump and your RC will drive away perfectly fine every time, gotta love bashing at the beach.

Guys, you need to be more careful with the locations, if a car whether it's 1:8 or 1:5 takes a child, (this almost happened at the end of the video) it could have caused a tragedy.
as someone that goes to skatepark to skate adn bike i'm not into people taking rc to them. i have been hit by cars. it has gotten me so mad i threw a few cars after they hit me. i love RC but keep them out of the skateparks
those are irresponsible folks. We've never hit anyone at the parks and most the time little to no one is there. This day was different because some home school mom group showed up for their kids to hang out.
I still think RC.dirt freestyle and park would be awesome at the X Games
