I just get back into racing after a couple years off bmx. Wanted to hit up skateparks to get some more riding time. I ordered a sunday ex complete. Couldn't beat the price. Was looking at the haro rs1 trails but in my early 20s odyssey always made some of my favorite parts. Stoked on it. For the price I was able to get a different chain ring and new chain for less then the haro. Only gripe is the 8 spline cranks, but for $509 I couldn't complain. When they start to go I'll upgrade.
Trying to choose between the 2020 Wethepeople Trust or the 2020 Sunday Street Sweeper. A lot of people have been saying go for the WTP due to the fact that the cranks are 48 spline instead of 8 spline like the Sunday. Does the Sunday have better parts though like the Odyssey V2 freecoaster and other Odyssey parts? I’d rather deal with switching out cranks and having a perfect bike than switching out multiple parts including a hub and having to rebuild a wheel. Your thoughts?
What did you end up going with? I had the street sweeper for a long time but I loved on to a Standard. the rear end of the street sweeper was too short for me.
I own a kink gap it was 400$ to 450$ but it was worth it for how much it is I hope this helps people that want to buy a bmx bike and I recommend a place to get it from I got mine at goods bmx in Portland Oregon that has almost every bike you could ever want it could take a week or two if he doesn’t have them in stock but if he does your in luck

My Son had an SE Ripper that was stolen from the yard so we were in the market. We found an unsold 2017 GT Team bike with a 20.75 top tube and chromoly front triangle. It has sealed everything and double wall rear rim and we got a good deal on it. What are your thoughts on the GT Team bikes?
I know it's high TENSILE steel, not high tension steel. In case you were not aware, I have an accent (not from the US.) Yes I know it sounds like I am saying tension. Promise you I am not. Let's get past this lol, damn.
I’m about 5’5 and found a really good deal on a Stolen Sinner XLT but its a 21” top tube bike. Do you think that’ll be fine for me to start on? Heres the description of the bike “Stolen sinner xlt frame, stolen complete wheelset, stolen crank, fiction bars, forks, and seat/post. All full chromalloy parts. Probably around $750 to build the bike” thats what the guy said and he’s selling it for $150
It’s a solid bike man. They are $700 new so $150 is a bargain. The length of the top tube may be an issue. You just have to ride it and see what you think. But I think it’s too long for you.
Hi between kink kicker 18" 2022 $399, and Sunday primer 2021 $359, which one would you recommend based on these price and their specs? These are the two my local stores carry. It's for a 51" boy who started to do jumps at a park. His previous street bike rim got bent doing jumps so we want to get him a better solid bike to learn more tricks. Thanks.
I think the 2021 models are about to come out which is why you may be having a hard time man! Keep an eye out for it, they are two tone fade. Looks dope!
They usually don’t change much between years other than colors. Either one will be good man! I love WTP, but I’ve never owned one of their bikes. I will some day though.
it's just a preference. the trend currently is freecoaster for street and park. but it really doesn't matter. some would say it makes it easier to do any type of fakie trick with the freecoaster. that may be true but i know how to fakie with both kinds.
@@WasleySchultz I heard the slack and chain on the freecoaster can get in the way and be annoying on jumps and stuff like that. I think I'm going to go with cassette and if i need to upgrade to a freecoaster
I’m completely new and looking for a bike that’s for street. Someone told me that height doesn’t matter too much and you typically want to have a smaller bike for street riding purposes. I’m 6 foot and looking for a bike that’s below $600. What would you recommend?
Every geometry on a bike matters. The length of the top tube correlates with how tall you are, and so do the bars. A steeper head tube angle makes it easier to learn nose manuals and hang 5’s. A shorter rear end makes it easier to get the bike around and to do regular manuals, but not as good for riding dirt. You’re 6 feet tall, I would go with 21” top tube and bars at least 9” tall, and go from there.
Aye bro I'm living in Turkey so in this place all bmx bikes looks like a Walmart bikes so I just want to kink gap but I need to worldwide shipping how can I get I dunno
Looks like a nice bike as well. I just don’t know much about that brand. I don’t think we get many of their parts here in the US. Where in Europe are you from?
@@WasleySchultz yeah i checked danscomp and other stores if they have Mankind parts but not really... Mankind is a pretty underground bmx brand from germany but they are around for a pretty long time actually. and i'm from switzerland greetz!
What about the Fly Proton? Bang for your buck one of the best bikes hands down. If I'm spending 700+ , the bike better have a sprocket guard. Just saying.
I bought about a month ago Fit Spriet 2019 20.5" full chromoly, I am according to a converter 5ft.5 (165-7 cm). Its my first BMX since I was a kid, dont know if the size is right for me, but it feels natural. Cant do any tricks yet and my highest bunny hop is 3 fingers off the ground with the back tire and crashed once so I cant really say if its a good bike, but I love it so far. Would like to hear any feedback on the bike if anyone had experience with it or just thoughts about it
Could you give me some thoughts on the bike now that you've had it for a little bit? Im really thinking on pulling the trigger and buying it, but I don't know if I should since reviews for it are nearly non-existant.
@@CasualRicer its durable, able to take damage (fall damage ofc), my biggest problem is the bar width, but there is always the option to cut it or get a new one, the tires were also problematic last year i used to get a flat every other day. other parts are great, been riding it almost every day never had a problem with it, keep in mind that i am currently 58 kg, and when im jumping there is only a little pressure on the rims so i cannot say if they are good althought everyone says dual wall rims are better , oh and the paw needs a little more push for the spins. dont have other bmx so i cannot say much for comparison, feels better than the ones my friends got but thats probably couse im used to it now, still trying to learn stuff tho not a pro ready for the x games :D
The top tube is 20.5". I'm 6'3" and even at 21", I'm thinking of going a little longer for my next frame. Go bigger. Stick to 21", you'll feel more comfortable. If you really want that bike try and replace the stem with something longer (more reach) from like profile or something. And taller bars.
My buds gotta bran new fit begin 21" with matching 9.4O" 4 piece bars..I got other parts to build with..How do u think that combo would feel with my size and would u use it yourself??
If you’re looking for used I would hunt down like facebook market place, offerup, and craigslist. As always, be careful when you meet a stranger and always meet somewhere public like a skatepark where you can test the bike. Otherwise all the bikes new are linked down below man!
From the US? Albes.com, danscomp.com, empirebmx.com are the usual places I buy from. Master blaster planet has solid deals too (have bought many things from them check their eBay store.)
Wasley Schultz from the USA. Thank you. I checked my local bike shop but they said they were sold out of bmx bikes and I keep seeing many places online being sold out.

Looks like a nice middle of the road type of bike. Rear end is not too short or too long, all chromoly parts. You must be from the UK so if you’re shorter than 180cm I would look for something else. But that’s a solid bike.
@@WasleySchultz actually i'm 187 cm hahaha so i'm really going for a 21" toptube! do you think 13.5" is not too long for practicing manuals? Mankind Libertad XL or Subrosa Malum... one of them will be my first bike btw. thanks for the help

Do you think it’s worth buying a 2021 subrosa malum?
That’s a really great bike for the money. Really well made, solid parts!
Wasley Schultz thank you for answering
I wanna buying a good bmx bike where can i buy i wanna more detail
Depends on where you are. In the USA you can buy from Dan’s, Albe’s, Empire.
Solid bikes! I have a buddy that rides one.
I’m 5’10 and just starting out, should I get a 20.75 or a 21 inch bike?
20.75
I’m 5’11, what top tube size do you recommend?
20.75
Or 21
I know it's high TENSILE steel, not high tension steel. In case you were not aware, I have an accent (not from the US.) Yes I know it sounds like I am saying tension. Promise you I am not. Let's get past this lol, damn.
😂
I'm 15, 135lb and I'm 5'5
PLS help me I really want to get into bmx...and am looking into buying a bike in the $300-$400 price range, PLS HELP!
I don’t care, but it’s a 100% fact that you are saying tension, not tensile... lol own up, don’t take life so serious bro.
मुझेचाहिए
Thanks.
I hope you already picked out a bike since this comment is over 2 years ago! lol but I would have picked the Sunday primer.
Lol yes we did. We got the link kicker though.
Still a great choice!
Great Video!! i am currently trying to find the Sunday street sweeper, it's hard to find. where do you recommend purchasing it?
I think the 2021 models are about to come out which is why you may be having a hard time man! Keep an eye out for it, they are two tone fade. Looks dope!
What size frame do you recommend for a 29 year old and is around 5'9 height
Gregory Nockels 21
Thank you I used to have a Dyno not gt don't want to spend 500 or less what your recommendations I've seen your video any other kinds of bikes
hello, just wanna ask your opinion on which wtp trust better? 2018 or 2019 model better?
They usually don’t change much between years other than colors. Either one will be good man! I love WTP, but I’ve never owned one of their bikes. I will some day though.
Wasley Schultz cool bro!! just bought used 2018 model! super dope riding it!
Wasley Schultz good info from your video bro! keep it up!!
Hey man! I really loved this video!!! I was wondering if you could do an updated version of this video please?
I will probably this summer. Keep your eyes peeled!
Wasley Schultz thank you, will do!!
I need to know is the Yumi any good im trying to get in to it its only 460$ but is it good?
Never heard of them so I can’t help you there sorry about that!
What about Sunday Blueprint ?
Awesome first bike! I ride Sunday though so I’m a little biased lol. Love Sunday!!!
Wasley Schultz what are the differences of the blueprint and the primer? Both 2020. Sunday’s colors are unmatched!
im 6,6 (198cm) tall... wich bmx would be big enough for me ?
21.25 or even bigger actually
Oh shit sorry you have to get around 22 or a bit lower
Sir what bmx set up for me im 5'7
Go with something around 20.5” maybe even 20.75”
Ok thanks sir
What about 18 inch
I don’t know much about 18” bikes sorry man. Stick with the big brands and you should be fine. Like cult.
I’m 4”10 what size bike should I get
Jacob Is God maybe look at some rocker bikes 100-700
Is a free coaster recommended? I want something for street, and park stuff.
it's just a preference. the trend currently is freecoaster for street and park. but it really doesn't matter. some would say it makes it easier to do any type of fakie trick with the freecoaster. that may be true but i know how to fakie with both kinds.
Wasley Schultz Thankyou!
Aye bro I'm living in Turkey so in this place all bmx bikes looks like a Walmart bikes so I just want to kink gap but I need to worldwide shipping how can I get I dunno
What about elite stealth or elite destro?
Never heard of those brands. UK?
Wasley Schultz nah US
Wasley Schultz what bike do you recommend o get for around 300
What BMX do you recommend for casual riding for someone that is 6'3 300 lbs ?
What’s your budget?
@@WasleySchultz under $800
@@jaimeortiz476 I never replied to this, my bad man! What did you end up getting?
what you guys think about the Mankind Libertad XL 2020 for 600 euros?
Looks like a nice bike as well. I just don’t know much about that brand. I don’t think we get many of their parts here in the US. Where in Europe are you from?
@@WasleySchultz yeah i checked danscomp and other stores if they have Mankind parts but not really... Mankind is a pretty underground bmx brand from germany but they are around for a pretty long time actually.
and i'm from switzerland
greetz!
What about the Fly Proton? Bang for your buck one of the best bikes hands down. If I'm spending 700+ , the bike better have a sprocket guard. Just saying.
hard to come by here in the states but a good brand!
I got 200 what’s a good one I can get
I would look for something used for $200 man!
is hi-ten steel good for a beginner who has already owned a cheap bmx and knows they DO want to pursue bmx but really is just poor?
Yeah pretty much hi-ten steel is a much cheaper metal to use so it makes the bikes much cheaper to build.
Would like to hear any feedback on the bike if anyone had experience with it or just thoughts about it
Looks like a great bike man! Feeling natural on a bike is the important part. Keep at it with the bunny hop. That’s BMX 101. You’ll get it!
I 6'2" 200lbs and considering the Fit Augie..do you think the bike mesh well with my size or should I go bigger like with a Sunday or WTP..
@@dagmayla1927 that's perfect man! That's a great place to start!
is gt performer 2019 a good bike for about 360$? please answer
Yeah for sure! Solid bike!
Ok thanks! im new to bmx
is it worth to bye kink curb 2020 with 350$?
Where should I go to buy these ? I’m in San Francisco . I found few thru an. App called OfferUp.
If you’re looking for used I would hunt down like facebook market place, offerup, and craigslist. As always, be careful when you meet a stranger and always meet somewhere public like a skatepark where you can test the bike. Otherwise all the bikes new are linked down below man!
What’s a good online website to buy from?
From the US? Albes.com, danscomp.com, empirebmx.com are the usual places I buy from. Master blaster planet has solid deals too (have bought many things from them check their eBay store.)
Wasley Schultz from the USA. Thank you. I checked my local bike shop but they said they were sold out of bmx bikes and I keep seeing many places online being sold out.
Havent bought a bike in a while ? what do y’all recommend? Used to have a haro .
haro is still pretty good man. chad kerley rides for them. check out his frame.
Are mafia bmx bikes good ?
I think they are not good man. They are poorly made imo.
What about elite stealth?
Can u tell me hows x games fs20 freestyle for beginners
No
Hey man, i’m thinking of getting the Wethepeople Justice 2020, I have wanted to try bmx for a very long time, I had the chance but i made a mistake and rejected it. So is this the right bike for me? Hope you’ll reply because i’m planning on getting this for my birthday
Nice bike man! 20.75” top tube is good for anyone under 6 feet tall just a heads up.
Wasley Schultz Thank you, Walsey 😁
Wasley Schultz If i cannot get it, I will just buy a used bmx bike and replace most of it’s parts. Is that a good idea?
what you think about the
SUBROSA MALUM 2020?
Looks like a nice middle of the road type of bike. Rear end is not too short or too long, all chromoly parts. You must be from the UK so if you’re shorter than 180cm I would look for something else. But that’s a solid bike.
@@WasleySchultz actually i'm 187 cm hahaha
so i'm really going for a 21" toptube!
do you think 13.5" is not too long for practicing manuals?
Mankind Libertad XL or Subrosa Malum... one of them will be my first bike btw.
thanks for the help
What weights are good for them 500 to 600
Honestly the lighter the better lol but you get in to the $1000’s. Anything in that price range will be fine man!
I’m trying to get a good bike that won’t break on me I only have about $300 please help
Sunday Blueprint. Or look for a used one on Facebook market place that is worth like $700-900. The sad thing about bmx bikes is that they don’t hold their value but could be good for you.
Thanks ❤️
2016 stolen casino is a decent bike I have has mine for 3 or 4 yrs and I hit big jumps on it and it holds up it a pretty good bike
