- Here is my 2022 Cadillac CT4 V Blackwing Review. In this video, I'll give you a tour of the CT4 V Blackwing, which is smaller than the Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing. Yes, the CT5 V Blackwing is powered by a supercharged V8 but the Cadillac CT4 V Blackwing packs a punch with a twin-turbo V6 making 472-hp.
The model that I tested here is the Cadillac CT4 V Blackwing Manual. Of the two Blackwing models, the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing 2022 competes with the likes of the BMW M2/M3 and the Mercedes-AMG CLA45/C63. In this video we will also listen to the outstanding Cadillac CT4 V Blackwing Exhaust Sound. These two Cadillac Blackwing models have taken over the segment as the more rugged options that are really fun to drive. As beautiful as it is and as powerful as it goes. I just can never pull the trigger again. 35 years with them. My heart is always with them. My last two ,ATS AND CTS Performance were NYS certified lemons. . They acknowledged it and did the right thing without court. But how many times can one breakdown and change their address to the dealers? I just couldn’t take the chance again. I hope Cadillac has learned from the vehicle’s they produced for me. And have put better build quality and craftsmanship for those that purchase them .

Ordered one yesterday. 6 spd, tan and black upgraded interior, both carbon aero packages, alcantara wheel and knob, found a dealer that would do it at MSRP. Now i get to wait for who knows how long

Thanks for the response. I put an order in this week and the dealer told me he could not promise that the car would even come in. The ordering process sounded like a very gray area as described by him. I am in north Florida and unsure if I will get this car in. I did not get many options so I’m hoping that will help to get it in faster. If you have any knowledge on the ordering process you could share I’d appreciate it. Also how do you like the car? I feel a little strange ordering something I’ve never driven…
@@Revilokab I was told the same by the dealer when I ordered. But I ordered every option basically. Manual trans, and I didn't get the sunroof or painted wheels. I got everything else. We placed the order and then it was just a waiting game. If GM accepts the order then you're good. That can take weeks. The issue you'll have is the strike going on. As far as the car. It's fantastic. I've put 18k miles on mine in under 2 years. I bought mine without driving but I HAD driven the ATS Vs before. And these are just the better version of it. Lol
@@charlesgutscher1923 it’s nice to hear a success story like this. I understand times are different now just getting over the strike. I guess it’s the part of GM accepting the order that I don’t understand. I’ll just continue waiting with fingers crossed for now. The suspense will get to me after a while. If it weren’t for dealer markups to the tune of $20-25k, I’d be driving around in one today. Dealer markups are going to kill car sales for special cars like this.
Just order it, then you get MSRP. My car was ordered 1/10/22 and BUILT 2/15/22. I should have it delivered in April.
@@JamesonsDiecastCars I think it’s just my area. None of the dealers within a 500 mile radius agreed to order it and sell it at MSRP.

@@JamesonsDiecastCars it’s not in the cards for me anymore. It was an effort I put in to find something else before I build my car. I ended up opting to build my car because of this. It goes to the shop this weekend.

If I had the money, I would get the Mercedes AMG E63. The wagon at that. I know it’s lot more money but if I’m buying my retirement gift to myself, the Merc AMG’s are my choice

Nice car, nearly TWICE the starting price, auto only, not even in the same universe to compare. I am a wagon guy too. I would take an E63 wagon over a M5 though-more apples to apples.

You should not be flat foot shifting if you aren't doing a hard acceleration run and shifting near redline. You're just destroying that clutch for no good reason.
