I love watching your videos. I'm familiar with most of the places and find the history very interesting. I live 2 hours away and when I can't be there I watch you. Thank you

You have explained a lot of features I have come across out there. Thanks ! Those were the days of wooden ships and iron men. 180 degrees from today.

Hi, I love listening to your video's because you can tell how much time and research you do put into making them.
I live in Cornwall UK and ever since watching other hiking channels in Pennsylvania I have grown interested in the
history of it so when I saw your channel I knew I had to subscribe. Thank you for everything that you do to bring
these really historical locations to life. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤

Thank you, it is cool that we have a viewer from the UK. My wife and I at one time planned on retirement to spend a year there traveling and hill walking. Sadly health issues have made that type of travel impractical . So we won't be visiting the Lake District, spending a evening at the pub with Phil Harding after along day on a dig. No visit to Fair Isle or Port Isaac or ancient stone circle, looking up some very very distant Welsch relatives. The plans we had. Anyhow thanks for watching and for your kind comments. Terry

@@forestcountyoutback7540 thanks Terry, I wanted to see Pennsylvania in the Fall and also Canada but I am now too disabled, I cannot even go for a walk in our local woods because my back has discs that have been removed and 4 discs in my neck that have herniated etc etc but I love sitting here watching your channels and others so I can still learn every day even though I'm 53 you can never ever learn too much or know everything, this world we live in is so diverse and extremely interesting. Stay safe and take care, much love to you and your family, Happy Thanksgiving. xx 🤗❤

Found this very interesting. Thank you so much for documenting the traces of the past, that are so easily lost. If no one like you documents it, could easily be lost history. Amazing how mother nature reclaims herself in a fairly short time. Are you familiar with "Red Hot?" Upstream from where your at is an old clearing. An old stone well, as well as some old metal from wood stove etc. found here. Believe maybe the old Red Hot Mill??? Along the trace of an old small gauge R.R. track found up this valley. (Salsgiver rd.) Eventually leads up to Porter Haskills more recent mill in Clarion Co.
    Are you familiar with?....and
was surprised to recently learn of John Cobbs mill on a small island in Clarion River at Arroyo that was destroyed by a flood, he was nearly swept away in this flood.

I'm familiar with the Red Hot location also. In addition to the stone well there are timbers in the creek and a stone wall. Great job with the videos. I'm really enjoying learning more about the area.

Isn’t there some hidden gold in the Allegheny National forest? The Robin Hood of PA David Lewis.

Ypo are thinking of the Union gold shipment that disappeared during the Civil War. That was way over east at Dent's Run near Bennezette.
