I fell in love with Pantera when Cowboys from hell came out, but at the time I was still into glam and had no clue that they had several albums that I believe is way better than most of the popular L.A. bands that I was listening to. Reading Rex Brown's autobiography really makes you appreciate the musicality of their early stuff. Love Pantera! R.I.P Abbott brothers. Together again!
Dime and Vinnie two gives , two Diamonds. since their arrival the world of music has totally changed ... thank them for having existed. No one will be forgotten by anyone who loves music ... rest in peace brothers🤘 🤠🤘
Wasn’t called glam back then. They just were into Van Halen, Motley Crue, and Def Leppard. Also on the metal magic album they have kiss influences as you can hear on ride my rocket
They may have had a glam look, but their sound didn't really fit the look. They sounded like some kick-ass heavy metal instead of glam such as: Ratt, Poison, Warrant, Mötley Crüe. They sounded more like Judas Priest, Accept, etc.
No entiendo como hay gente que aun no conoce las primeras joyas de pantera... y se hacen llamar fanaticos de la banda y creen que nacio en cfh jajaja insectos!
Of all the songs from this era, this is the one I think needs to be re released somehow (mass produced, not re recorded) This is one of their best but you can't find this album on Spotify
the drum on the picture album is actualy the same at KISS check at KISS drum is the same whit double pedal bass Panthers cat 😅 just make sure we all understand 🤘 it the drum that KISS play at whit Animalize tour ....😎
how bought we do away with the what type of metal it is and just listen to the song the guitar playing the lyrics. for me I just listen close to the guitar because I love dimes feel and I play as well. It's about the music man.
I would yell at you if you said that in 2015 and go on a rant that "everybody is buying peace and that song is shit" and I would be afraid of the line But Who's Buying. Nowadays, I accept your opinion, but I still don't hear a similarly between this song and Heavy Metal Rules.
I agree: On the downside, knee-jerk pop-metal exercises such as "In Over My Head" and "Takin' My Life" sounded, at best, like low-budget Def Leppard, and frontman Terry Glaze's ear-assaulting screeches, robotic squawks, and frequently moronic lyrics (see possible worst offender "Heavy Metal Rules") could only be forgiven in a world where Joe Elliott, Vince Neil, and Stephen Pearcy were considered bona fide "singers."
Could care less who it sounds like, i just know i like this era of the band alot. The first 4 albums really need reissues!
I agree with that. Sadly I don't think that will ever happen.
Facts 💯💯💯
I share your sentiments! I couldn’t agree more!&
Someone needs to start a petition or something. A feeble attempt maybe, but damnit these need official reissues already.

Badass I want all the 80's pantera albums they are pretty bad assssssss
I got the bootlegs from russia. Theyll sell you all four albums for like under 60 dollars on ebay. They sound decent and are brand new
I totally agree! The first 4 albums Pantera released in the 80s should've been on iTunes.
Truer words have never been spoken.

Forever tonight best for song pantera 🤟🏽🎸🎶🎤🎼🎶🔥🔥🔥
Rock You Like A Hurricane + Living After Midnight + Master Exploder + Balls to the Wall = This
I also hear some Metal Health Quiet Riot influences too.
Do you?
Perhaps N.I.B
Black Sabbath N.I.B
@@trevorbelmont456 if you mind explaining then yes but, otherwise i don't really hear it?
A little of Leppard when they were good
Heavy Metal forever Pantera
This was the first song I heard from them, 13-14 years ago maybe
First time listening to this album Sounds like 80' music.
Well, it's from 1984, what the fuck do you expect??
Load Game COOKIE MONSTER!!!!! ROAAAAR!!!!!!!

You are damn right.
Metal Magic was unquestionably glam but Projects in The Jungle, I Am The Night, and Power Metal were all very much metal.
Motley didn't really do the glam thing until Theatre/Girls era. Before then it was a punk sound on Too Fast and a heavy sound on Shout.
You're right about sounding like Priest though. This particular song sound a lot like The Green Manalishi to me, the riffage before the chorus.
to my ears metal magic and I am the night are more glam metal
The title of this song is very accurate.
This should be theme song for Heavy Metal
I remember recording a cover of this about 10 years ago and then my hard drive crapped out. I need to cover it again. Such an awesome song.
Smoke crack do ya?
Pantera before The Pantera! XD
This song is so awesome and very similar to Accept's Balls to the Wall.
I don’t get why this song was kinda underrated and why it wasn’t that popular. As for me very cool and good song!
GLAMTERA RULES!!
Cesar Sabbath hells yeah Heavy Metal Rules!
Cesar Sabbath is Heavy Metal not Glam! Glam is like bon Jovi but this records is Heavy Metal at its best
Heavy Metal not Glam, from Metal Magic to Power Metal Pantera made Heavy Metal!
Fuck yeah! Like this glam metal sound way more than their heavy stuff
heavy metera*
G L A M T E R A R U L E Z !!!!!
Good metal song... It does sound a bit like Accept...
Tricia Star sounds like a slower version of queensryche
Tricia Star ...correctoooo!!!
Tricia Star it sounds like that one part of peace sells by megadeth
Except this isn’t pure dog dick garbage
@@lordcharlesthomas Otto Von Steinberg....nah..that does not sound like Geoff Tate. I'd say Ron Keel or Blackie Lawless before Tate.
the riff reminds me lizzy Borden "me against the world"
This song from 1984. 'Me Against The World' from 1987.
Excellent love early pantera
Sounds like Metal Health by quiet riot
I thought the same thing the first time I heard it
Energitic,,,good riff.... heavy metal rules
Wonderful & Amazing Song GUYZ.WoW.Awesome Powerful Voices.😃😊😍🤘👍👌❤👏👋

Metal magic es una joya: la portada, el título, el contenido, la maravilla musical.
Now i know why this Riff sounds so familiar. IT Sounds like sunshine of your love-cream
And NIB by Black Sabbath.
Early albums are great. Heard there Dad won't give them a proper release. Great stuff
Wow - this is awesome. I haven't heard these tracks in 30 years, and I still remember every DBD riff.
This album is much better than the first
Glam or groove what are your favorite pantera ways of heavy music? Cause i prever both long live heavy metal!!!!
Que buen tema loco
Yo, that's an anthem right there!
Of all the songs from this era, this is the one I think needs to be re released somehow (mass produced, not re recorded) This is one of their best but you can't find this album on Spotify
Lol no way, they won't.
If only Dime and Vinnie were still alive... I would totally agree. And with a better album cover.
The intro sound a little similar to "Sunshine of your love" by Cream and "Cocaine" by Eric Clapton but a super heavy version of both songs.
I'd LOVE to see @steelpantherrocks cover this. It would be a perfect fit for those guys!!
R.I.P Dimebag
This is a cover of a song by PORT TALBOT rockers Night Time Flyer.
Great album!
the drum on the picture album is actualy the same at KISS
check at KISS drum is the same whit double pedal bass Panthers cat 😅 just make sure we all understand 🤘
it the drum that KISS play at whit Animalize tour ....😎

I really dig their instrumental parts.makes this song so good
The most pantera!
Love all the pantera albums. Not really crazy about the steel album. But love the rest 🤘

@GGWdodge simmon: because it IS 80s music :) Projects in the Jungle is far back from '84 :)
from 1984 with first singer one before Phil
Heavy Metal Ruuuuuuuuuuuuuules
YEAH
Yes, i know, i understand, but this my №1 Pantera album
I prefer this over thrash Pantera
Thrash pantera is actually groove but i agree.
Thrash Pantera isn’t a thing
Me too. Glamtera is legend!
My girlfriend said she wanted metal lessons so I smashed a beer bottle over her head and played this song HELL YEAH GOD DAMMIT
I like it
80s Pantera is way better than 90s Pantera XD🤘🤘
during the first power chords i thought i was listening to N.I.B
uuuuuuu...nooooo la bace el rifasooo...uuuuu!!! muy pero muy bueno...e dicho!!!
Killer song i think
Sunshine of your love lol
Que som da hora batera e guitarra
A part of me wants to hear Phil sing this.
almost sounds like Def Leppard
Manowar at its best ;-)
hell yeah
Looked glam, never played it though.
Maybe if you have shit for brains you will think that this is glam, but no. This is way too aggressive for that.
how bought we do away with the what type of metal it is and just listen to the song the guitar playing the lyrics. for me I just listen close to the guitar because I love dimes feel and I play as well. It's about the music man.
🤘
Diss Rocks
I have a feeling that this song is about partying
Essa e punk! Vestir minha jacket leather and Vine smoke weed! Heavy Metal Rules
Beginning reminds me of Peace Sells
Or does peace sells remind you of this
I would like to hear Phil sing this
Melhor álbum do Pantera sem dúvidas🤘🏻
I wonder if the 4:20 song length was intentional. Hahahah
YESS
Why did they exclude all this from their catalogue?....... This ain't bad..... No match for the big bands of the time but it was still good.
Nice song, n i b
Wasp behind the wall of sleep basically NIB meets the 80s
😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
I'm the only one who thinks that this sounds like Peace Sales - Megadeth

Heavy metal rules was released in 1984 two years before peace sells

scorpions sounds
Domenico Gastaldi ...más judas ..esta bueno el riff y la bace

Peace sells but who's buying

Thought it was on power metal album
Imagine this song being performed during the Phil era
or with priest ^^
I'm sure it was. Phil joined during the so-called glam era. Had a Motley Crue cut.

Fuckyeah 🤘 ❤️🍻
Parece Massacration
This is a part of the 80s that got lost under shitty glam classic rock.
Sounds like early Def Leppard on steroids lol.
Hendrix and Clapton search his cocaine :)
Cocain intro Eric clapton
This sounds way too much like Motley Crue
So!!
