They went to their local record shop and the kid had never heard of them so thought they meant Pantera and set my grandparents up with the "vulgar display of power" cassette, man was that a shock for Christmas, the heaviest thing I had listened to up to that point was the scorpions. IT APPLIES ACROSS THE BOARD TO EACH OF US EQUALLY!

A crazed fan of Pantera got mad at them thinking they were the cause of Pantera's break up so he rushed the stage during the opening song of a Damage Plan show in Ohio and shot and killed Dimebag along with a couple other people. Vinny died of heart failure a couple years ago. Vinny went on to be in another amazing band named HellYeah. Both are dearly missed for their amazing talent and the really cool people they were.

@Joe B hey brother I am an older man and have been lucky enough to see both DD on his own and Pantera play many times. It is great to see others appreciate the same stuff that liked as a younger man. Thanks

The secondary voiceline you hear on this track is actually their bassist Rex. He's actually got a really good voice himself 😊

I havent listened to this song since 2010 bc Pantara is connected to someone I was deeply connected to who passed away very unexpectedly and abruptly in december 2010 and really messed me up for a while. Idk why i decided to watch this in my recommended feed but by the end when she was just memorized I was fighting back tears. Im not a very emotional guy but because of the history and how important this band was to the person who passed this breakdown was giving me whiplash from happy that she got it to deep sorrow and sadness...as i sit here all alone as the memories still remain. Ty to anyone who took the time to read this. Anyone out there who is feeling like they are worthless just know your life does matter. Everyone matters.
