Personally I found the blacksharks more comfortable. The Cloud 2/Cloud 3, kinda gives me a headache, probably cuz i have a very wide head. The style just doesn't work to well on my head.
I also wanna note the hyperx buttons are mechanical, usually that's a good thing but they are very loud and feel very unpleasant to press in terms of sound, they also pickup on the mic so when you are muting anyone you are talking to or if you're streaming will hear that CLICK noise before you actually mute. Which was a deal breaker for me. The razer one looks like a simple slide button instead of like a mechanical button so I'm gonna assume it feels better and won't pickup on the mic. Have not tried it yet just here to compare since I'm sending the hyperx back. It feels very uncomfortable and the mic is kinda bad for background rejection which they boast about and their other mics are way better at so idk why they have a different mic here that acts more like a condensor instead of a hyper cardioid.

@badintent if you had to pick just one headphone to game and listen to music with, which would you choose between the Logitech G Pro X 2 and the HyperX Cloud 3 Wireless? Especially, which would you prioritize for audio quality?
Logitech G Pro X 2. Cloud III doesn't have enough bass for my personal taste, so definitely gonna use the Logitech for music and most games. For FPS, I can just EQ it, so yea Pro X 2 overall.
@BadIntentStreamTechReviews Appreciate that. Thank you for sharing. Love your reviews by the way. You, GadgetryTech, and The Techne make awesome reliable reviews, so cheers for that. Also, I'd recommend you check out the new Alienware Pro Wireless headset that just came out for a review. Since you're a self proclaimed bass head, I have a feeling you'll love the audio on those. From what I've been hearing, it actually has better audio quality than the G Pro X 2! Thank you for the review. Im curious, i want these for my ps5 and Fortnite. Does the eq button on right ear cycle thru the game eq presets or only the movie and music presets?
If you're talking about the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023, then yes it can cycle through both individual game presets and the others (game, movie, music, custom). You just have to hold down the button to switch what it's cycling through.
hey thanks for the video! just wanted to get your thoughts on what headset options i should go for if i were to play mainly story games along with fps shooters here and there. Any below 200 would be much appreciated.
I used the Razer blackshark v2 wired usb. The headset was very comfortable, especially the isolation was good, but the volume wheel was broken. When I turned the volume up or down, the headphones buzzed, the volume balance changed and the wheel would turn itself back down after a while. I returned it because of these problems and now I'm using cloud 3 wireless. This headset is comfortable but a bit small because my head is a bit big and the leather pads are comfortable but not good for me. I also don't like the sound isolation of the headset because there is a lot of noise and it comes out. The Razer pads were nicer and the sound isolation was perfect. At least they weren't leather and didn't give out sounds. A few days ago I heard a buzzing sound coming from Cloud 3. I deleted and reinstalled the app and now there is no buzzing but I started the return process in case there is a problem in the future. I think I will buy Razer again but is there a problem with the volume wheel on the v2 pro 2023? Have you also used the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro?
No problem with the volume wheel for me. And I've used the Nova Pro. The mic isn't as good but overall, I think it's better than the BlackShark V2 Pro 2023 but just not worth the price.
I want to buy the cloud 3 wireless, only for cs2, but all the reviews says it hasnt good sound for footsteps. What do you think? Is it ok? Or may i choose the g pro x 2 or blackshark?
I only have the wired version of the Alpha unfortunately so I can only speak on that one. The Alpha wired sound is better than the wireless Cloud II and III overall, but doesn't get nearly as loud and the EQ is better suited for immersive games over FPS imo. Also isn't as comfortable.
