From a police officers perspective of these trucks/vehicles in our fleet. We use Chevy/GMC (Tahoe, Silverado, Sierra), Ford (Explorers), RAM/Dodge(1500, Charger, Durango). Out of all them, the Dodge/Ram’s have great features and feel/look the best when new. However our GM and Ford vehicles last the longest by far. We have plenty past 100k miles that run great and they are definitely driven hard. The Dodges have the most problems and the interior fit and finish fall apart first. Not always the case but the general consensus. This is from a police vehicle perspective and we beat our vehicles up. Just my two cents. All three make good vehicle though.

It is the last of an era of true pick up trucks and a legendary V8 motor.
From this point on everything is plastic, tiny twin turbos, and luxury electronics you don't need in a truck that cost a fortune and are designed to break shortly after their warranties run out.

The Ram is superior in many ways when compared side by side and with similar packages. Ram owns the interior and ride quality market.
Hands down all it takes is a person to test , in my case, a 2021 F150, Then GMC and finish with the Ram all in their mid level package (respectively) theirs a ton of options especially with Ram and Ford.
The Ram bighorn is excellent imo.
Ford now hauls more weight I’m told but that means nothing to ninety percent of people as the tow ratings exceed most needs.
All three will tow or haul most anything.
Some crew members spoke of bad experiences with Ram when I was shopping for fleet vehicles but Ram now on its own has created fantastic trucks and i may be lucky , I’ve never had an issue. My F150 2005 the transmission literally dislodged the first year. They recalled all those trucks on east coast.
Fords tend to run longer if you get a good one but fact is I trade mine in every five with a shit ton of miles on them and thirty years later I’ve yet to have any breakdown no matter what brand exception the F150 and it was repaired and ran fine afterwards.

Nothing but trouble since I drove it of the lot.. that is reason why Nissan stopped building the Titan with the Badge that sold me on it.. Cummins engine.. In my location area, the Diesel techs have all left Nissan.. so there is little experienced diesel mechs.. and the emission system only lasted me 23,000 miles before it threw a CEL. Nissan does not warranty a Nissan Diesel emission systems if the state don't test emissions. but truck could still throw you into limp mode for emission issues.. driving on a pray now.

I own the 2021 tundra limited crew cab. It has the short bed. I didn’t much care for the tonneau cover it came with too damn heavy and clunky. I love the interior space. I hear the new 2022 model is a complete new design on the infotainment with a bigger screen. That’s cool but I like and prefer less electronics. . It’s my first truck and took a but getting used to since my other car is a Range Rover super charged that just flies and I love it too. Tundra is a big truck and big tank and with gas prices it’s makes me wince when I fill it up. I enjoy the ride and it’s smooth. Lots of interior space front and back. I bought it also cause i want to buy a truck bed camper and also haul my food trailer. Neither bought so far as COVID and this year it seems every thing price wise has sky rocketed. But I love my truck

I just purchased a 2021 Titan mainly for reliability. I will use it for work and I considered the Tundra and F150 but the tundra has terrible gas mileage and the F150 was too expensive for a comparable Titan. GM products are less reliable as a whole sadly because my last three trucks were Chevy. Most important to me is reliability and price so Titan was my choice.

With the American made trucks, all are good brand new. But in the long haul, Chevy last the longest and Chevy/GM repairs cost a little less. The Japanese trucks perform well, last a long time, but expensive repairs. For longevity and costs, again Chevy. I have seen tug-o-wars between different makes and that is fun. But I want 250,000 miles and a truck that will run for 10 years.

Seeing a Toyota pull a massive tow over 600 miles and still going strong after 12 years. No doubt its capable. It's definitely an amazing vehicle. BUT the Ford double cab from 2006 my uncle still owns has 500,000 miles on it. Then my other uncle has a dodge ram with over 600,000 miles. So I'd stick with the tundra or go with Ford.
