    I would love to have a morning routine BUT my life turned upside and all my routines when my husband got dementia.
    We r up every 2 hrs during the night, yes changing his diaper. So in fairness I am tired, 75 and he is 85. I use to get up at least by 6 to have my time before he got up. Now I need to stay by his side, he is never left alone. This is a tough journey, I love what you posted please understand that, I would follow that exactly, so since I can’t I feel sad and am sitting here tears running down my face, I guess allowing myself to have a pity party for just a moment. I’ll get over it, I have to and be a great wife and caregiver for someone I have loved for 45 years who needs me to put him above my needs....for such a time as this.

      Wow , I just want to say to u Thank u . Thank u for being u. .ty for living a life of Seevice for your significant other . Even when now he can not be your protector . Thank u for giving encouragement that there may be ladies out u still left . Hopefully u have a daughter so that this world is left with something of value . They say the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree right .
      I’m only 40 and single , but this generation and younger probably will not do these things and most won’t even have someone. I am single by choice as I have not someone of value like yourself .
      That being said keep up the fight . If u can financially do it , try to help have an aid help u so u can enjoy your husband even more and ease up some of the responsibility .
      He would also want that for u and do not feel guilty but still nearby and be his rock his fortress . And continue to be beautiful.
      For a man watching a lady that is loyal makes them beautiful . This is how we know u are already a very beautiful woman .
      Go You , u are the best !

    First I used to have a task of 21 activities a day..such as- excercise,meditation,business news reading, offering water to lord sun,yoga, watching any 1 business case study on RUclips, learning everyday 1 Spanish word to learn this language, drink 2 litre water a day, reading daily 10 pages of business related books and many more..i practiced it till 3 months to complete all the to do task for the day..and now it’s all habit for my whole day..and I complete all this between 6 am to 10 am in morning and have whole day in hand.. I am watching your videos, which help me to avoid procrastination and built self motivation..thanks for all you have supported..

    My morning routine since a few years back:
    1. Making bed after at least 8 hours of sleep
    2. 10-15 minute yoga
    3. Find 3 things I'm grateful for this morning
    4. Go for a walk in nature (not every morning, but sometimes)
    5. Eat breakfast: Warm lemon water, green tea, oatmeal with chia seeds, peanut butter, dark chocolate and bananas and my vitamins
    6. Brush teeth and do my skincare
    7. Go through my to-do list I wrote the night before and start the work for the day

    1.7 hours of sleep cycle
    2.30 minute morning exercise
    3.breakfast
    4.quick shower
    5.get dressed
    6.journal
    7.daily plan

    I'm developing a morning routine one thing at a time. What I do right now is I keep my gratitude journal in my couch table. First thing in the morning, I write in it.

    I have been going to bed at midnight (sometimes later) and waking up at 10am. I think the reason for it is I’m an introvert & with everyone home all day I’m looking for ways to avoid being around everyone and getting some time to myself. But I need to break the cycle so I got up at 8 today despite getting to sleep at about 1.30am.

      Feel same here! (And same on sleep schedule too😖). Awesome job getting up at 8! I was getting up at that time before this craziness hit...but now I'm getting better and some days up up at 9 some at 8! Keep up good work! 👍

      Another introvert here...I totally know how you feel...although I love my family, I also love my alone time and need it for my well-being. Finding it hard to eke out that time in quarantine. Creating a schedule that includes solitude is a goal.

    So interesting… Many of your routines I have as well. The problem I have is consistency. I’ll go for a year and then something will happen and fall off for months. Thanks for the inspiration to jump back in Mel!

    Thank you for sharing your routine. Funny I have been interested in learning what others routines are about just for inspiration to get one going for myself. I could easily put my gym clothes on first thing, but I can just as easily wear them all day to the store etc..then change back into pjs at bedtime without exercising! I have started a routine this past week though, one that may not include exercising, but a includes stretching at least. That's a start.

    I'm having a hard time getting up as early as I 'd like (and after the clock change in easter it got even worse) on the contrary I manage to do my morning routine everyday consisting of making my bed, writing my 3 morning pages, oil pulling, doing my yoga practice (plus abs every other day), meditating and having my ginger lemon..tea and/or smothie. Apart from my morning routine I don't manage to be productive at all in my creative work although on the contrary I'm giving yoga lessons to my family members later in the morning too.

    I actually love my morning routine (finally)....I, for the most part, have been a late riser and that's all I'll say about that! However, for about 2 years now, I have been getting up at 5:45am Monday through Friday and this is due to my passion for Option Trading! I have been learning and trading Forex, Bitcoin, Stocks and now Stock Options for about 2 years. For the past year though, I have become an early riser and I feel so awesome accomplishing this early morning routine of mine!
    So, I wake up at 5:45am, no snoozing my alarm (lol), go downstairs, start my computer and then go to make my cup of coffee. I also work from home with my position I have at my brother's Foundation, which I love! I study and then if I see a good trading pattern, I get into the option and focus on that for about an hour or two and then I'm out! I then start working my regular job. After about 4 hours of working, I then go for my 30 minute walk, usually with some of my children (I have 4 kids). So, whoever wants to walk with me that day is always welcome! LOL....I then get back to work for another 4 hours. There you have it!!! Thank you Mel!!!

    Mel! Can you do a mindset reset specific for AD(H)Dr’s? Or have segments with more info and research on AD(H)D specific stuff for organization and motivations?

      I'm an ADHD person myself and I believe that we need no brackets for the (H) 😁

      Firda Nurinda, I was diagnosed with ADD without the H as I am of the inattentive type, and never had the hyperactive portion. So even though it is has been changed to ADHD, there are people out there who do not fall under the category of the hyperactive. I wanted those people, like myself, to also know they are included as well.

      Same here. I get into bed around 11 and then watch stuff on my phone, cuddled up under the covers. Totally addicted to RUclips. Free classic movies there. Topics I'm interested in. NBC even posts their 20 minute news roundup. This all leads to falling asleep around 1, and waking around 9. 8 hours. But 9 is WAY too late, imo!!!!

      @@catlasell2439 I'm definitely stressed but my schedule now has gotten even more screwed up. I would eat dinner and relax for a bit, I work better at night so my best concentrated work time is at 10 pm to 2 or 3 am, sleep till 10 or 11, on and off work all day and trying to avoid RUclips. Then the cycle starts again 🙈

    I struggle to work out in the morning but do workout in evening.. have a pretty regular routine in the morning and day but tweaked to work for my family. Thanks for sharing!! I love the videos right now I watch as I’m working out

    I wake up at 7,, make a hazelnut coffee,, and go sit on my deck and listen to the birds ding ,, and I pray to god , for a new day 🙏😀

    Jogging works for me also stay hydrated wit water a solid mult vitamin will help but excerise is key

    I am trying to add meditation to my morning routine but just can’t find the right moment. Anyone got any tips of the best time to meditate or know of any free meditations?

    Mel, I need your help so much with my pregnant 20yr old daughter. I'm at my witts end. She will not listen, and she keeps making bad choices. She is with her baby's dad but his family , whom they are living with is less than savory. They allowed her to stay there and sleep with their son. Of course she got pregnant. Now they want her and him to move to a bigger house with them, with my daughter and boyfriend paying half the rent. Yes, they rent. They are in their 50's and are depending on their kid to help them. I am the opposite. I am strong, and do everything on my own. They have a 1 yr old and have my daughter babysitting for free all day everyday, plus pay rent. I don't want my grandson around these people everyday as we are who we hang with. Her boyfriend's step-dad is nasty and negative with him and I see they're using the kids to support themselves. My daughter is stubborn and supports them because they are being nice to her...because it's easy. It's not parenting. Please help in any way.

    I have to hammer my brush better in my mind I think,sometimes I forgot.
    The cat sometimes wake me up with a miau.... I do not need a clock this days with coronashit. Sometimes I do meditation morning session. But anyway nice sun.

    I have anxiety and panic disorder. I have sore throat and runny nose but it gets well but when my acid reflux strike it came back sometimes in made me more anxiuous during this pandemic. Sometimes i have a tinggling in my jaw and comes up to my head and then i felt i have difficult in breathing and i felt my heart pulpitate. Can you help me with your advice? Thank you so much.

    Is there an alternative to bed making, As my bed is never empty when I get out of it ?

      Can you possibly make just your side when you get up, then the whole bed later?
      Or perhaps choose another activity like emptying the dishwasher or dish rack, to have that sense of accomplishment? Hope that helps.

    About a year ago there was a really interesting video you had up for about a week then is was taken down. The video was really good and extremely relatable.
