Been doing some routine video binge watching just to feel more productive during covid and its really funny that you can tell you're listening to a doctor just because every step, you get the science reasoning behind while other videos are something along the lines of "then I'm going to meditate because it makes me feel good" and leave it at that.

The part that people don't see is the hard work he did to get into a good college, then 7 years of studying at university, then doing his residency, etc. People see the results but none of the insane work that he's done (and still does) to get there.

Same as me if I have to wake at different time, i.e when I've to wake at 5 or 6 am for studying on exam days my alarms generally begin from 3 to 4 am and I'll mostly get up at 5.30 or 6.30 or when it's back to college after vacation or when I've gone shopping till I drop. My sleeping cycle is hell in those days. I mostly end up with insomnia for a week or 2.
However when I wake have to wake by 8 on normal college days, my alarm will be at about 6:30 - 6:45 and will continue till I wake, which is mostly at 7.10 to 7.20
But doesn’t that make you more tired? Like you keep waking up every 5 minutes! Isn’t it better if to just put at least one half amour earlier or the same but starting at 9? Just asking

I reckon 2hrs - and he gets a lot done. As a doctor I'd say it is unlikely he actually gets up at 7am every morning - probably just in time for whenever his shift starts.
Usually docs don’t start rounding til about 9am-10am, 5am- 8:30 is a lot of time to workout and walk the dog, get ready etc

Lmao. He’s not a surgeon, and I’m pretty sure he’s internal medicine. Which, don’t get me wrong isn’t an easy job, but nowhere near the intensity (schedule, technical aspect, or knowledge wise) as a general surgery resident. Completely different lives.

True in Suriname (a country in south america) there is no sunlight till 6:30 or 6:45 am.School starts at 7:30 am and ends at 12:30
I am from Germany and School starts at around 8am here and because I go to a private school it starts at 8:30am. lol and it only takes me about 15min to get to school.

Vermont is terrible for that as well, even after "sunrise" there's no sunlight until like 9:30 because it's all blocked by the mountains and the clouds/fog.

Diana Alvarado I just downloaded the app on my iPhone but can’t get it to open up with “Hey Google” like I can with Siri. I like Google better but I need it to work solely with my voice since I mainly use these type of apps while driving for work. I need it to open with my voice and open other apps with my voice as well as taking notes. I don’t look at my phone while driving so it has to be hands free.
