    It surprises me that people who work full time with kids to look after & get to school would not do this..!? For me it’s a no brainer. For example; when making lunch on a Sunday you have everything out so why not make lunches for Mon/Tues too & keep them fresh in a good container in the fridge. Meal prep your dinners for your whole week ahead on a Sat/Sun. This kind of organisation really helps! The dishes washed, dried & packed away the night before is the oldest trick in the book to starting your day from scratch! As a single parent who does it all ( yep even mowing the grass) this kind of time saving, financial saving & energy maximising is paramount to raising successful active healthy kids & making sure relationships are not compromised.

    Establishing an evening routine can be a game-changer for productivity and well-being. Here are 5 simple steps to effectively execute your evening routine: 1) Decide on a consistent bedtime, 2) Shut off electronics at least 30 minutes before bed, 3) Take care of personal hygiene, 4) Plan for the next day, and 5) Do something relaxing to wind down. Remember, consistency is key to establishing a successful evening routine. Give it a try and see how it works for you!

    It all sounds so nice. But then reality hits in.
    Ideal 8x8x8
    8 Hours sleep
    8 Hours of good work
    8 Hours of leisure
    Reality, 12 hours are spend between your alarm in the morning, getting ready to leave the house, travel to work, work, travel home, go to the supermarket, cook dinner, clean the dishes. Then its already around 7 in the evening. We feel like we should do sports to because we all know sitting behind a desk is destructive for out bodies. In the mean time you do other tasks to clean the house, clothes, etc. Come home from sport, shower, go into our pyjamas sit on the couch with a cup of tea and hop its time to get into bed. And thats the routine withouth children! Imagine... Life should idealy be 8x8x8. But those 8 hours of leisure is never made. Exept on holidays or a sunday funday.
    Life feels like a race. It sounds so nice to set times to relax. And prep for the next day. But reality is, the day only has 24 hours and the bills need to be payed.
    To set the alarm one hour more early means cutting of the 8 hours sleep time. And our body needs recovery time from the rat race. Its hard to see where to cut.

      Hey just stopped by to say what you are saying is real. I have 2 little kidd + dog But I started to use robot vacuum for cleaning and mopping reduced my cleaning time to almost 0… I hardly hand vacuum the floor and I do a good manual mopping every 2 weeks. I started incorporate minimalistic lifestyle with less belongings and less clothing. I do laundry daily but don’t fold anymore. Hang on coat hanger to dry and (95% of the cloth) then put them straight back to wardrobe as is..: don’t own anymore cloth requires ironing… now I can spend a lot more time relaxing!!! Hope this helps❤

    I’m guilty of scrolling on my phone before falling asleep.

    Another good reason to keep your phone out the bedroom is its constant ping the cell towers putting off electromagnetic radiation and frequencies! Good idea to turn off the routers in your house too, especially if your office/room where your computers are located is near your bedroom or your kids bedroom!

    Man, every morning. Getup 3 0 clock. Attract abundance. Right it in paper. 3 times. And again 6.0. Clock, write it the same 6. Times. And again 9.o clock, write the same thing. Nine times, follow for 22 day, it's useful to you. And see the musical. And then explain your excrement to your colones. Thankyou

    Okay. You assume every one of your viewers has a kitchen, their own bathroom or even a apartment. I think the millions you make yearly has made you forget that. I'm not hating on you, I love your advice but this erks me when you assume things. And I notice you recycle the same footage in most of your videos. Not this one though. Wow, this video is only 22 minutes long! That's a first

    • @annalis9555

      Those that can watch youtube, definitely have a kitchen and a home. And yes, you are hating

    • @Welovehorrormovies
      @Welovehorrormovies Год назад +3

      @@annalis9555 ummmm not true at all. I have a phone. That doesn't mean that person has a home or a kitchen. And I'm not hating, I listen to her podcasts every day. I'm just stating a fact. Have you been homeless? I doubt it by the comment you just posted. But, I don't want to assume.

    • @karencarlos3942
      @karencarlos3942 Год назад +7

      Its only natural to assume the majority have basic necessities; that has nothing to do with how much money she makes. Everyone deserves to have shelter and a place to make meals, but even if someone doesnt they can still apply the same premise to what they do have... Clear your space, prepare for the next day, make things easier for yourself to reduce stress. Stop scrolling on your phone before bed and no matter where you sleep keep your space and your clothing tidy (my Gma used to say being poor is no excuse for being unkempt). Mel's not going to present an example for every situation for a million different people. Surely, you are smart enough to get the idea of what she's suggesting... although, I'm just assuming. PS- I'm not hating and wish you all the best with your program.
