- Catching and Cooking Blue Crabs in an EPIC Seafood BOIL! We head out to go crabbing at a saltwater creek with a mission - eat whatever I catch and make a delicious crab boil. Crabs, Corn, Sausage, Potatoes, this is gonna be so good! One of my favorite catch and cook videos I've ever done. Fishing for crabs with ring nets!

I've watched every single video for the past 4 yrs. I never get tired of your videos. Every video is different for the most part. Some of the bass channels can get boring because every video is just bass fishing. I love bass fishing but I just love fishing period. I love using my ultra light in creeks catching panfish. I also love catfishing and striper fishing. I love saltwater fishing. Not knowing what you're going to catch lol.

Love crabbing
The best way to save on the chicken for your bait is go to a butcher shop and get some chicken backs. They are practically free & catch way more crab because they are extra oily & that gets in the water. It will draw in crabs from a bigger distance away. Some butchers will even give you the backs, because they don't sell enough as they are only good for making broth.

Your making me hungry. Can't go crabbing here in good old Delaware, it has been pouring rain all day the last few days. Monsoon season here I guess. I use the same type crabbing trap here. See you lost the bait there on one. I use metal shower rod curtain holders to fasten the bait in. Keep the vids going, good stuff.
I would look at hand lining crabs it’s really interactive and fun and there’s videos on RUclips. Also with shrimp I’ve had luck an hour before low tide and once the tide comes back in a little

Don’t know how you are fix for a freezer and you may be cramped for space. But the next time you catch a few fish save the heads and and run your line through the mouth and out the back where it’s cut off from the body. Easy to do. Zip lock bag and freeze them. This way you can tie the head straight to the trap. You won’t lose your bait. Maybe cast your traps out a bit farther. Or maybe try some micro chum. Anyway, enjoyed the video. 😎👍

When the wife makes, I only boil and clean the crab before. She puts shrimp, I know LOTS of seasoning is involved. Gets finished off in the oven with LOTS of butter and again lots of seasoning. You can get dip from the pan. I want some now
If you keep tension on pot line once it hits bottom GoPro would do well in a downward position with a little slack below the GoPro so maybe stacke them and give slack between GoPro and basket

This is 100% show me you're from Delaware without telling me ..BOILS..But one major violation is actually boiling everything. You need to get a standalone burner and propane tank and steam everything in layers, and underneath your pan in your pot is where you put your seasoning so when it steams all the spices get absorbed by the food. Start with what takes the longest to cook, so potatos on the bottom ending with either your crabs or shrimp on the top

One thing I've been doing for easy baiting is I tied a 8/0 J hook to the bottom of the trap. Now I just use the hook to hold the bait.

My chicken😂😂😂 use a piece of wire you can twist reusable 100 times or more. Use a layered cheese cloth for boil bag instead of plastic

Corn on the cob has to go into the seafood boil for sure. Again, you are from Delaware, why don’t you use necks if you are using chicken? You know that’s the bomb .
Another tip. If when you tie on the bait with cordage buy a cheap ball of twine that cinches tight.
Next time add the frozen corn last. Boil everything else like normal. When done, shut heat off add frozen corn to cool water and stop the cooking process. Let sit for 10 minutes...

I use box traps and triangle traps I tie down fish parts and heads with 20 pound test fishingstring I run the string threw the fish parts

Where in north florida are u fishing? Jacksonville is great for fresh & salt
frozen corn last after crabs are 90% done to cool it down so you don't overcook the crab. or thats how you do with crawdads
Yeah bro here In Florida.we have no size limit on blue crabs . We are allowed 10 gallons per person.

You should try raw thick bacon as bait. And you need a needle and tie it on to the braid thread it through chicken or what ever you use. #redtatergang

steam crabs with apple cider vinegar, water, beer and use old bay ontop the crabs. Way better than boiling meats not all soggy and actually flavorful
A lot of ppl think crabs want old funky bait 😂 actually fresh bait works better they will eat rotten old shit but trust fresh bait catches way more and that chicken will do it 🔥

Not a single point in the “boil” the water was actually boiling.
If you put salt in the water before it will boil really fast
Only issue I seen is the corn. You put the corn in last after the crab is done cooking.
Yo for crabbing to get more crabs leave the chicken out for like 2 day let it stink it will attract more crabs

Some friendly advice use what the crabber are used to eating
Dem glue crbbins is soooo goode to eats iffin you kooks em with the claws on! Those little swimmer thingis ain’t no goode to eats. Yous feeds them to the other glue crabbins. Iffin you wants to catching more crabbins, use wings stead for f drumpounders. Don’t eats the small crabbins, they’d give yous cramps. Sometimes the squirts. Iffin yous lucky yous can catching some fish to eats with, or gather some clams an mussels. Maybe a pussyocto or two a swell.
