3/4 cups brown sugar
1/4 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
4 tbsps butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
Banana Cake:
2 ripe bananas
1/2 cup softened butter
3 eggs
3/4 cups sugar
3/4 cups brown sugar
1-3/4 cups flour
1/4 tsp salt
1-2 tsps vanilla extract
2 tsps baking powder
2/3 cups milk
1/4 tsp cinnamon (optional)

Hi. Nice recipe. I just have a query though. How would you compare using caramelised sugar like your recipe says, versus a chilled brown sugar-butter mix for the base, since seepage of caramel is bound to happen. Will appreciate your response. Thank you!
