Now that I had a chance to view the footage, a CPL filter would help as well as a ND. Either filters would have really changed this video footage.

The flight video was shot in Raw and Post Rendered and Graded in Adobe Premier Pro. Some glare was present as I returned, could be easily fixed with an ND 16 - 32

Great video and advice on this little drone. I enjoy flying it immensely! Not very powerful but if you know your wind direction and wind speed, you'll have no problem with its performance. Just have the wind to your back when headed back. When it tells you to get home, you need to get home. Thanks for sharing.

@@DadRandom Yes! You are rendering at the wrong frame rate. 25fps and 50 is a frame rate for Palm system countries. (Your video editor's timeline must be at 30fps or 60fps)The footage play again odd on a tv. You can not mix 24fps to 25fps, . Also, remember that there is no Display or Monitors today that plays at 24fps, unless you have a professional monitor dedicated for filming and animations. Your monitor and everything else is played at 60hertz and up, failing to film in 30fps, 60fps and 120fps will cause some problems on the encoding process and devices that you play. Your footage at 24fps watching in a monitor or device at 60hertz each first frame will be duplicated 6 times and second frame 4 times (6:4 pulldown) so the video can be close to 60fps. To avoid any problems always film at 30fps with shutter speed always at 1/60 day or night. If you want to create the cine look that you see in the movie theaters you use after effects to create duplicated frames and render at 60fps and you will have the best compress and no pulldown. That’s why a ND filter is needed to film at day time. Now, if you are just doing this for fun and not selling your footage anything goes to your liking. But is good to know the proper renders and filming rules to avoid problems on devices and in post. Anyway, I am always giving professional filmmaking classes live! Come by sometimes!!! and I can explain and show more in details why matters what I just said.
Simple notes to remember: Lets say you don’t care about frame rates in RUclips platforms and 25fps what you like. And does not want to change the timeline to 30fps or 60fps. Here is the solution: increase the video speed by 4% so that it runs at 25fps and you will get better playback. Now, remember that 99.9% of viewers will watch in a 60Hertz or higher devices and a conversation will happen again no matter what frame rate you use if the device is not 25hertz in witch does not exist today, unless your monitor and GPU can communicate to match to the lower frequency. To avoid all problems when filming anything, stay away from 24fps, 25fps and 50fps.
hi again 'dad random', another great great video, incredible. Love the RAW video mode, (I am guessing I would need a fast SD card with a fair amount of space for that), but, wow, I watched this on your 'you tube' channel in 2160 mode, I felt I was literally there!. You came back to base with 22% battery left too, and achieved a staggering 13261 feet, 4.1km, and a height of 404 feet in standard mode, 16 to 22 mph. The definition and detail is just incredible. Wish I had this expanse of space in the UK here, sadly, there is nowhere to take my autel nano. and as soon as I turn it on, the whole world seems to come over to visit me (what a pain eh?). Im so glad i bought this nano plus a few weeks ago, all I need now is a quiet people free place - like Mars (LOL). Take care fella . Keep them coming. Andy (Merseyside - UK)

The mini 3 Pro can not be the allround king because it does not make sense. All around is the one that film great at day or night. Remember you are buying a flying camera. The best thing of the Mini 3 is the 60 degree up filming, image quality is just ordinary, it suffers from the low definition and details because of the plastic lens DJI use. Replacing the lens the Mini 3 would be in a other level. DJI needs to break the contract to whatever lens manufacturers they use. Most important thing on any camera is the lens, cheap lens is like filming with a glaucoma eyes.

Hi DR. I did 26,000 feet with my Top Gun 3, I mean Mav 3, and RC Pro out in the hills south of Enterprise this last weekend. Still had full bars on the RC and turned back with 60% battery.
Mav 3 is perfect with the new update

Just got mine, video so far is really nice. Have you had any issues with obstacle avoidance? Mine went haywire on my first flight telling me I was 5 meters from an obstacle when I was about 100 yards off from a large building. Maybe just a glitch.
I really had little trouble with this little bird 🐦 it was pretty reliable
I have had some ghost 👻 signals. I know what you are talking about. No irate behavior out of the drone.
Do you think that it's better now, that it's 8 months later? I'm considering getting one, the Nano+ is selling for $465 now. I have a DJI AIR 2s Fly More Combo with the RC controller. I'm kinda torn between this, & the Mini 3 pro. But the Nano+ is on sale for a very good price.

Though I've enjoyed my Nano Plus, The Autel company has put a bad taste in my mouth. They will not honor their own warranty on simple gimbal dampeners rotting out from Weak rubber . My drone is 8 months old and useless at this point.
