I picked up the fly more combo for $359 on Amazon prime day.. I'm very impressed with its capabilities at its price point. Also, the mini 4k is now available on the DJI website..thanks for your Great videos!!
Maybe a daft question, but iv not got a drone and looking into them, if you use 90%of ur batterie going away from ur self and the rth feture kicks with 10% left, is it going to make it back to u?.
No, think percentages, you should always have at least 60% of your battery if you flew away from your self for the first 40%. To return home, it will take 50% and 10% is your reserve in case you get wind 💨 against you returning home.
imagine you go on a highway with your car with full tank and drive away from your home until you consume 90% of your tank. would you be able to get back home with only 10% left in the tank?

@@walker-snow Hmm... The only battery I see that's in a $25 price range is one that certainly won't fit the Mini 4K (even if it did, it would put it well above the 249g limit). Everything else is definitely going to cost close to $50 per in the US. (Maybe $40 per if you buy a bundle). The deal he linked is $130 for charger & two batteries, which, doesn't quite translate to $20-25 per battery.
@@PeteTaylorPTI I use Mavic Mini batteries on Mini 2 SE and they perform great. It's a bit risky send them miles away. But for short range flights they work perfectly. Mini 4K and 2 SE have the same body shell. I don't care about going over 249gr.
I don't think the hiccups are caused by the tablet holder; more likely the tablet itself with its metal case change the overall antennas radiation profile. For long distance flights, maybe a phone is a better option.

Hello I enjoy your video,s I use my android phone as screen for my DJI mini 2 se but want to use a android tablet what would be best tablet spec can you give me advice thanks 👍
I just picked up the Android ONN 11" from Walmart for 159.99. I loaded up the software and it all works great. 11" of screen is awesome and it's a bright screen.
I was very disappointed to discover only after using the mini 4k that the cruise control and waypoint flight mode were taken away, both very simple to implement via software on the equipment, which even though it is the entry-level one has the same platform as the mini 2 which has these functions and also the transfer via wifi. I hope that DJI admits the mistake and soon puts these functions in its application for the mini 4k.
Most of DJI flying stuff seems to be software limited, including sensors. Also, the newer cheaper ones are not open for third party software (Litchi) which to my knowledge could fix the issues you mentioned to certain degree.

dont think this bloke realises the mini 4 k is jus ta mini 2se with camera from the original mini 2.. firmeware is no different ... now the mini 2 return to home is identical to mini 4k.. the original mini 2 is still a better drone than the mini 4k, but this fella dont seem to understand that. witha mini 4 k v mini 2 se the mini 4k might be a touch better, but up against a genuine full mini 2 there will not be any diference. and no a mini 3 will not last longer in airtime than amini 2 or mini 4k. only when the much bigger battery that puts mini 3 pro and mini 4 pro over the weight are they lasting longer. nobody gets much more than 20 minutes on any mini drone on average if filming as per normal.. 31 minutes simply never happens. gte a genuine old mini 2 witha new full ycharged battery and do your test and both on the same latest firmware... do not go by older firmwarev versus newer firmware.

Mavic Mini Li-on batteries are cheaper. Fits in Mini 4K and 2 SE

@@DadRandom what??
?
i saw in much of the videos that mini 4k's distance range is not that great, dont know why..i think its due to the 50% less battery in the RC-N1C

They perform better (more efficient ) and hold a charge longer. You get less output in amps is the negative side.
