DJI MINI 4K VS DJI MINI 2 SE VIDEO QUALITY COMPARISON. IS IT ANY BETTER? OR CLEVER DRONE MARKENTING?

- Опубликовано: 1 окт 2024
- I can confirm that the mini 4k appears to have a different lens than the mini 2 se, it has a bigger ball of glass on the lens. And internally this must have a newer more powerful chipset to handle the 4k at 100mbps.
Please comment which you think looks best A or B, Thanks :)

I like the look of B drone video which surprisingly was the mini 2se.
Happy with that result for me, knowing that I own a 2se.
Thanks for letting me know 👍
This one will cause some controversy 😂🤣 i can’t really disagree without zooming in on footage.
I don't immediately see any big differences, but i think if you'd use the footage for edits and you have to zoom in for example, the 4K probably will leave you with the best quality. I have the 2 SE myself tho, bought it for in januari and I'm very happy with it. It does it's job very well and the image quality is good enough for what i use it for. And it's not like 2.7K is bad ;). It's still breathtaking to watch clips I made with it and the image is still crispy sharp.
Yes, the 2.7k is a very good 2.7k. You can only see the difference if, like you said, you zoom in or if you are watching on a very big screen 👍
It makes me laugh when you see the drones on Ali express 8k with laser sensors for £30 🤣
Wow what a stunning location for the comparison. I could sit here and listen to the birds and compare the footage all day it’s so relaxing. I did see a different with color mostly with B having a little more of the dynamic color but maybe less details in the video. Whereas A seemed to be a hair sharper but looked a tad too green. But I’m used to that as a Nikon shooter so I’d say either drone would offer me the footage I’m looking for. This will be such a helpful video to so many looking to compare!
Thanks 😀
Yes, it was nice hearing the birds while flying the drone. It's a great location for flying as it's a wide open space, and those farmers' fields turn bright yellow soon. I think the crops are "rapeseed"
The 4k has way better quality but I feel like the 2.7 k is smoother at certain moments
Yes, that's what I saw 👍
@@RobinDrones I will not say way better quality for sure.
It was for sure not ”way better” on the 4k, get glasses……….
Pretty close, but I like the mini Se over the mini 4k in your comparison
Thanks for letting me know
Watching on a 4K samsung computer monitor, I preferred B, fully expecting it to be the 4K! So, still happy with my Mini2 SE. I have read that the Mini 4k has a mini 2 SE label inside the battery cover. can you confirm if that is the case with yours, please? Great comparison video btw. 🙂
Yes I can confirm that the label under the battery door says dji mini 2 se!
On my phone I couldn't really tell but on desktop streaming in 4k (RUclips Premium) Video A is significantly sharper and has more detail. Most notable at the extremes - treelines in the distance or bushes/grass closest. B is still very good but definitely becomes muddy/smudged in comparison in areas. TV screens tend to add smoothing/sharpening which may reduce the difference. If shooting for social media / small screens the Mini 2 SE 2.7k is absolutely fine. I would say the 4k is worth it if wanting to show at 4k or wanting to do slow-mo (60fps) or getting creative in editing and doing some cropping/zoom. I just got the Mini 4k and will try to do a similar comparison with my friend that has the Mini 2 SE and see if the difference is more noticeable in different scenarios but this was a great video to compare.
Great comment 👍
I fully agree that the mini 4k was so much sharper. Like you said, the trees and the grass show more detail. Around half of the comments said either they were both the same or the mini 2 se was sharper 🤔
I'm guessing most watched this on their phone with a 1080p screen.
It still amazes me that both these "budget" drones produce a very very good image!
Please share your video comparing them both if you're putting it on RUclips 👍
Please could you do a video on this comparison. Much appreciated
damn b looks better idk why
Yeh alot of people say b it's about 50/50
Robin - guess what?? DJI finally released the Mini 4K across the globe, and now I can get one in Canada without export issues. I figure it will either the be Potensic Atom or Mini 4K when I finally buy. Pricing / features on the Potensic side of the equation, while connectivity, and availability of tons of additional accessories from third parties a=plenty.
That's great news 😀
I think that if I could only have one drone and I didn't need tracking or waypoints, I'd get the Dji mini 4k and add dji care refresh (just in case) .
It's the small sensor on the Atom that's the deal breaker 😌
But I'm sure you'll be happy with either. I bought the dji neo. I actually really like it in 2 ways the Tracking and controlling it with your phone, oh and the price, the good.
The Downside is the image quality, though 😌
I will make a video soon. I've been busy researching about 🏡 solar panels, watching loads of youtube videos, haha. Getting them fitted on Wednesday 😀
@@RobinDrones Giving back to the grid then, are you?
I’m not too impressed with the Neo personally. I get the draw and the target market though and expect it will do well for DJI.
The Mini 4k is a little more compelling for a few reasons - including their “insurance”. I am not terribly interested in tracking and the remote is a bit less functional than DJI.
just went with the 4k as will be using the 2.7k video...which is 60fps over the 2se 30fps
Good choice, also the bitrate is alot higher 👌
Got both drones and without doubt the 4K is far better in the flesh
Yes agreed 👍
The se seemed to be more stable in flight? Was there more wind? Keep up the brilliant videos!!
Yes I noticed that the mini 4k was drifting in the wind, I will have to try and reset the imu and calibrate the rc.
Great video mate, nice test! I think both look great , maybe just b edging it for me , looks a bit more natural colour , on my phone screen anyway , pretty hard choice though , A looks a bit sharper and clearer in detail 👍👌
Thanks 😀 so I have come to the conclusion that all I have done is bought the same drone, ha ha.
I should sell the dji mini 2 se, but I feel like i can't as it was my very first drone 😜
Haha yea I think you might be right mate, not much difference in them atall is there! Oh no you can’t be selling your first drone , that was the start of your journey! That one has to stay with you now haha 🤣
what is drone A and drone B ? ? sorry i speak only French and German , your video is not with translation;
why not drone 4K and drone SE on video ? ? ?
You'll see on screen at 8.27 mins
So A = dji mini 4k
B= dji mini 2 se
I did it like that so people could say which is better before seeing which is which.
2.7K looks much smoother but if you zoom in 4k is alot better of course. Otherwise not much of a difference
It makes me wonder why they didn't put 4k in the mini 2 se.
It must have been to bring down cost to a minimum so that more people could enter the hobby.
They had to bring back 4k as all of the competition now has 4k 👍
@@RobinDrones I checked out some forums, a few guys made some software magic and Mini 2 SE sensor is 4K capable - it's software gapped...
DJI is just pushing the sales with numbers... But that makes one wonder, could there be certain hit on the smoothness as the processing power is the same?
So I wonder if the 4K is true 4K or if the 2.7K is actually somewhat downplayed...
Which is better DJI Mini 2se or Dji Mini 4k? The Mini 4k went up to $329.00 and the Mini 2se is at 279.00. The 4k looks like the fields and fences moving weirdly. The 2se looks fine.
I think both are good but the mini 4k has more detail if you zoom into the video.
B Mini 2 SE is a fantastic little drone for me the colour is more natural. I have the Mini 3 which is also a fantastic drone the 4K video is awesome plus the 48 megapixel camera is brilliant plus portrait and landscape mode worth every penny.
Yeh I was thinking about getting a mini 3 the price is good at the moment 😀
A
Thanks for your vote.
Differences were minor for my eyesight. Sometimes the 2SE had blown out horizons while others it was the 4K where the horizon line detail looked blown. I suppose a neutral density filter would fix that if you were wont to do so. Overall the 4K certainly had some moments of better looking video but to be honest they are really, really close most of the time. I would think that on a good mid-range 65" TV panel, there will be little difference. I'll try to get a look on our Sony x90l and let you know what I think.
Warning - epistle follows .....
A few general observations about the location. Firstly always beautiful to see countryside from the British Isles. Secondly, that parking lot surface looks like a moonscape -- and it's so typical of what I have often experienced in many of these gravel parking areas near great walking locations. One that comes to mind is right beside the North Yorkshire Gliding Club at Sutton's Bank just inside the North Yorkshire Moors park. Great walking, but you almost need a Defender to navigate the divots and potholes to park up top whereas down below it's a proper paved lot ;). Thirdly, seeing all those wonderful public trails reminds me how lacking we are in access to the land here in North America. We recently escaped to the country to a town 35 minutes south of Ottawa and while it wonderful to have wide open spaces, we can only walk on roadways or specifically designated areas. River-side walks are very rare because all the river frontage is owned privately and if you are caught walking there, you are risking fines and charges for trespassing. We need to fix that here. Nothing like public access to the land. You are super fortunate for the results of those who instigated and participated in the Kinder Mass Trespass.
If you zoom into the video 8x at 2 mins intonthe video, you can definitely see more detail in the 4k, which is understandable at the bit rate is more than double.
That's surprising about Canada 🇨🇦 I've never been, but I would imagine you'd have loads of walks in all or the countryside as Canada is a massive piece of land, I didn't realise that most of the river is privately owned that's so annoying. Have you been to the ridgeway before? You can walk on it for 87 miles or so!
@@RobinDrones There are great places to explore but the country is so stinking huge it can take a long time to get to them in many cases. It’s the fact that generally land owners don’t allow walkers the way it’s set up in the UK. Sad. We live near the Castor River and can’t walk the banks in most places.
It's crazy that you can't just walk on the river bank 😔
Pros and cons to each to each countries I guess.
Here in the UK, as you know, housing is crazy expensive, and most property is tiny!
I'm under the impression that Canada has pretty relaxed drone rules under 250g. For example, I see lots of Canadians flying beyond VLOS captain drone, for example.
Is this true?
@@RobinDrones You can it’s just timing the risk of getting kicked out or fined. So we just go to public locations luckily near the nation’s capital there are plenty. Just not out the backdoor any longer.
Rules for flying here are pretty standard. Mini drones are still the most accessible way to greet flying.
looking at both videos through a 1080p RUclips stream and being unable to see the difference 😅
then changing to 4k stream and finally noticing that when zoomed in A has more details on the grass than B does.
Yep, absolutely 💯 correct. I think those that said B weren't viewing in 4k to start with. That being said B the mini 2 se is still a very good quality image for its price 👍
All along i thought B was better. But i am surprised as the 4K should logically be better. What could also make a difference would be if the angle tilt on both drones if it was not exactly the same. The bitrate on the Mini 2SE is 40 Mbps and the Mini 4K it's 100 Mbps. So logically the 4K should be better. In ending probably 90% of my drone videos are filmed in 1080p with all my drones and nobody is any the wiser.
Both great cheap drones thanks for sharing enjoyed the comparison not much difference really 🛩👍👍
There actually is if you zoom in my 8x, a lot more detail in the mink 4k, but there should be as it's 40 vs 100 mbps. Same sensor though...
It would have been a better comparison if they'd had the same image and A and B should have been more rapidly swapped. Every three to five seconds maybe. There should also be some footage from 30-40 feet and 10 feet altitude or so too. Thanks for the video.
Yes, I should have done some closer shots and zoomed into it to show the details. Maybe I will do a follow up video...
@@RobinDronesplease do, and have the drones hovering in exactly the same spot. Ideally full screen for a to b switching every 10 seconds, otherwise comparisons are extremely difficult. Also try and include people and cars so that it's easier to note the form as Greenery is not so easy to compare.
Much appreciated. Thank you.
You did a nice job with both drones. I try to see how the drone balances out the sky and the foreground. The newer cameras are better with keeping Sky dynamic. 1/1.3 is really good at this. I’ve just started looking at footage. Thanks for the video!
Thanks 😀
Yeh, I was thinking about getting the mini 3 for the larger sensor it's a very good price at the moment £279 here in the uk for just the drone plus 1 battery.
The mini 4k has a better video quality than the mini SE from the get-go IMHO.
Yes, it did 👍 But it should do as the bitrate is more than double. Thanks for letting me know.
b
Thanks some say A some say B so I guess it's really close. Did you watch at 4k resolution on a large screen or zoom into the video on a phone?
Hello, Can you do the DJI Mini 4K vs Potensic Atom 4K test please?
Thank you! 😀
Yes I will definitely do that test! 👍
le A sans hesitation au premier coup d'oeuil....
Agree you can definitely tell the difference if you watch in 4k on a large screen!
Drone A looks much better
Yep, agree I saw more detail in the grass and trees 🌳 👍
@@RobinDrones Even with RUclipss compression Drone A looks much better, Some people are saying Drone B looks the same but I assume they are watching it on a phone screen or they have the video resolution set to 1080p, If you watch it on a 4K monitor the difference is clear to see
Yes, most will be watching on a phone for sure, and even after setting the video to 4k, most phone screens are 1080p.
So I have come to the conclusion that the mini 4 k is better than the mini 2 se, but it's probably not worth upgrading from the se unless you watch on a large 4k screen. But to anyone buying their first drone at just £20 more, it's silly to pick the mini 2 se it should be at least £50 less 😉
The newer drone seems to have a bit of edge but only slightly. It's not so easy to compare these scenes because there's not enough time to view the images of each properly to examine the details. It would be better that they hover in a certain place with people and cars, instead of just grass fields.Etc.
A way better, if you zoom in anywhere you can see how much smoother and sharper it is.
Yes, your spot on, that's exactly what I see.
Loads of people said B though 🤔
At 2m 4s, pause the video and zoom in to 8x and look at the tree line. You can definitely see more a lot more details 👌
B looks better
Thanks for the vote 😀
Looking to the Horizon of the footage shows you where the 4 k is ?
I preferred B…don’t know why but it seem to pick a few more details on the field.
Thanks some say A some say B 😉
I like A better
Me too....
According to an engineer who teardown the dji mini 4k, dji changed the camera sensor from sony to OV, and other design change to costdown, I still perfer the video style of mini 2 SE, the mini 4k is just too blue-tint for me.
Oh really 🤔
Do you think that the Fimi mini 3 has a better image compared to the dji mini 2 se?
@@RobinDrones Surely better, dynamic range and WB, especially low light video is much better. Also the mini 2SE/4k ISP processor is still the AMBA H22, which is not good enough, coupled with an entry-level 1/2.3 inch sensor with a very small F2.8 aperture, you can’t expect too much from it.
I thought you said B was the 4K camera and I thought it was the bettter video so I’m presuming something psychosomatic was going on in my brain 😮
No, A was definitely the mini 4 k.
Did you zoom into the video or watch on a large screen?
I am confused, first you said dji mini4k is A and lastly you said it is B, now tell me which is A and which is B, and why dji mini 4k is more expensive than Dji mini2 se, definitely Dji mini 4k is better🤔,thanks for great vedio❤️❤️❤️
I never said that the mini 4k was B, did i? If so, when did I say it?
So A is definitely the mini 4k
As for the extra price of the 4k, it's got a more expensive chipset in the drone to handle the 4k at 100mbps. Plus, I think that the lens is higher quality as it looks different from the mini 2 se. Also, if it was priced the same as the Mini 2 se, then nobody would buy the mini 2 se. Glad you found the vid helpful 👍
@@RobinDronesI think they’re going off what you said in first 30 seconds. You said you would name one a and other b and as you said a you looked at the SE and when you said b you looked at and lifted the 4k
Oh, I see how I might have caused some confusing. Again, A is definitely the mini 4k.
Thanks for letting me know 👍
@@RobinDronesno problem. Thanks for the extremely informative video
The DJI mini 4K would be better as I can zoom in to fill my 2.7K Ultra-wide 34” monitor without lowering my final movie below 2.7K. If I do that with a DJI mini 2 SE I would loose resolution. Also the DJI mini 4K would display nicely on a 4K television compared compared to the 2.7K resolution which the dji mini 2 se use.
Yes, that's probably why I thought that the mini 4k looked so much better as I watched this at 4k on a 4k tv.
Also, I exported the 2.7k to 4k so this may have affected the quality of the mini 2 se? 🤔
@RobinDrones Native 4K is better than exporting from 2.7K to 4K.
Honestly i picked A from the beginning everything just looked crispier in my opinion. Great video keep up the great work.
Yes, that's what I saw, but a few people said B looked sharper. Thanks, I will keep the videos coming...
Tell me 4k or 2se
Results at the end of the video 👍
I feel like the colors are truer on the 2 SE, but the details are better on the 4k. No? Also, have you compared the 2.7k 30fps on the 2 SE versus the 2.7k 60fps on the 4k?
Thanks for your say. No I haven't compared that yet...
Wow interesting not enough in that to justify the price diff, happily I recently bought the 2SE.
Yep, mini 2 se is still a great drone. Even better now as its cheaper 👍
@@RobinDrones Yes it helps lol
When you were flying over the cars and you switch from A to B. The cars looked clearer on B IMO but the difference is negligible
Yes, it's hard to see anything difference until you zoom into the footage.
Thanks for your vote
Drone A has better and richer colors.
Yep, and it has more detail if you zoom in 👍
B seems to have more true color and sharp planes, while A is leaning more towards a saturation of color and not so much as sharp as B.
Oh, I definitely saw more detail in A, but it wasn't a big difference. They do have different lens on each drone, the mini 4k seems to have more glass on the lens 👍
Yep - I wear glasses & use a samsung monitor & definitely B looks sharper & closer to a truer colour.
Especially shows up to me the trees etc. Mid frame
couldn't see a massive difference to be honest but i find when it comes to drone footage its frames per second which you will really see when panning left or right yes 4k is better but smooth 60 fps wins all day.good video mate
Yeah, I know what you mean about 60fps it's so much smoother to watch, so it appears to have more detail. I actually read an article last night, and they estimated that the human eye sees 77fps, so why are we still filming movies at 24fps! I can't stand seeing the judder while watching 😫 so I have to turn the motion smooth settings right up on my tv! If you watch my video on a phone and zoom in 8x at around 2 minutes, you can see a lot more detail in A. 👍
B seems a bit more crisp in comparison to A. Did not expect this to be the one with lesser resolution.
Some say A some say B 🤔 so the difference isn't huge. Did you watch it on a large screen or zoom in on your phone?
@@RobinDrones 32" 4K Eizo Monitor
Which should I get? I'm new to drones. DJI Mini 2se at $279.00 or DJI Mini 4k at $329.00 Drone A looks like the fields and fences are moving. Drone B looks just fine.
Both are good, but is the 4k worth an extra $50? I'd pick the 4k because it's newer, and it also has 2.7k 60fps.
Mini 2 se max recording is 2.7k 30fps.
Don’t rob my drone please
Ha ha 😂
@@RobinDrones ahahah nice video , I’ve got the mini 2 and recently got the mini2 se and trying them out not sure what I prefer my mini 2 is almost 3 years old now and still just as good or better then the se in my opinion
I wish the split screen showed the same half of the image so I could compare them more easily. But thanks. Got a 4K on the way. :-)
Yeh I should have done that. Oh nice, will it be your first drone?
Based on this, I'm glad I got the 2 SE, lol. Still both are good budget drones, but I am surprised by the footage comparison, and it looks like most here are as well.
Yeh, both are good drones mini 2 se at 2.7k looks amazing 👏
Amat bermanfaat
Thanks 😊
A looked good
Yep, definitely more detail in A, the mini 4k
watching on 2.7k monitor clearly can see more details on A. Did you mention in comment that optics are different?
Yes, they look totally different. Different size of the actual lens - it's bigger. The plastic surrounding the lens is also different.
I thought A was the 4k only because the colours looked a bit richer, but it was so close, it could of been slightly different lighting etc.
You guessed correctly. You can tell the difference easily if you set the video to 4k and zoom in on your phone 👍
Mais uma novidade da dji mini 4k, ótimo custo benefício.
Yes, I agree. Great for the price and a tried and tested airframe.
Thanks for the video as I am new drone flyer I am using Holystone hs600 and hs360se. Looking at drones in the 250g category with better camera
I'd say it's a pick between the,
Dji mini 2 se, £379
Dji mini 4k, £400
Potensic Atom (gimbal version) £320,
Fimi mini 3, £332
I have all 4, but I'm waiting for the Fimi to be delivered
Or if you're looking to spend more then the,
Dji mini 3, £588
Dji mini 4 pro, £979
All those prices are for the flymore combos..
Except of a slight difference in the color profile, on my 1440p monitor they look the same. "A" kind of looks like it has a haze filter on.
Yes, I agree they do look the same it's only if you zoom in or view on a very large screen, you then see more detail 😉
A better up close, B distance looked clearer. My 1st drone is mini 4K lots of fun!
Yep, the mini 4k is an excellent drone at a reasonable price 👍
@@RobinDroneswhats the price ??
Hello, Do you only need an operator ID from the UK to fly anywhere in Europe, to fly the DJI Mini 4K?
Thank you and nice video 😀
No, the UK operator is only valid in the UK.
You need an EASA operator id for flying in the EU.
I got mine from the Ireland Website,
www.iaa.ie/general-aviation/drones/drone-register
It was the easiest to do, I tried the free Luxembourg and Spain Website, but I couldn't get it to work.
The Irish was pretty straightforward to do, but it wasn't instant as you have to send them a pic of your passport for an id check. This took a few days to process. I only just got my operator id sent to me on the same day as my flight. So allow enough time before you travel. I hope this helps 😉
Witam które leprze mini czy mini 2 se obrazek video?
Did you mean mini 4k vs mini 2 se?
Or mini 2 vs mini 4k?
I'm currently watching this right now im at 4 minutes in but i just paused it to make my comment before i get to the end but for me b is better
Thanks for your vote. Both are pretty good image quality for the low cost 👍
Is the 4k video 8 or 10 bits?
And what's the bitrate?
That's very important to determine the quality
It's only 8bit colour, but that's understandable as this is the "budget" "beginner"drone from dji
bitrate is,
40mbps - mini 2 se
100mbps - mini 4k
👍
@@RobinDrones great information. Thanks
Quite similar but a little prefer 😮🎉
Thank you for the easy to understand comparison👍
I prefer color A.
Still, the vast scenery is beautiful🤩
You’re welcome 😊 I agree that A (mini 4k) was better.
Great video no clearer which I should buy though lol, I think il see which has the best deal. Nice location do you know the what 3 words for it?
No, I don't know the what 3 words. It's in West ilsley just off the A34 on the Berkshire/Oxfordshire border.
It's called "the ridgeway"
@@RobinDrones great thanks
I guessed correctly, I think 'A' is (obviously) much better quality, but also much better colour saturation. For the record, I have the mini 2, all my friends are amazed by it's photo's and video's! Glad I got it!
You have good 👀
Yep can't go wrong with a mini 2 it's all the drone most people will ever need. Great image quality from any Dji drone 👌
Much better quality. 😂😂 Give me a break……
2m20 set the vid to 4k and zoom in on your phone and look at the grass. You'll see the difference! Or watch on a large 4k tv.
Definitely, there is more detail on the mini 4k
Bitrate is,
40mbps on mini 2 se
100mbps on mini 4k
@@RobinDrones Not very big difference in reality for the ordinary user…….
Yes, true, but I'd say for an extra £20 it would be worthwhile choosing this over the mini2 se.
Plus, you get 2.7k at 60fps, which isn't available on the se.
Looks to me like B is the 4K. Not a huge difference, but there is one.
if you watch it on a big screen you notice immediately, but generally yeah, no big difference
2se has downward video and the 4k doesn’t have 😢
Do you mean moving the gimbal 90 deg to face the ground?
As yes, this can be done on the mini 4k 👍
Great review, hopefully in the future you’ll put the type instead of A or B.
Yeh I will as a few have said about that.
2160p is not considered true 4K
True, but it's close enough for me.
For me B
B is better, but it's marginal, which I find surprising
A lot of people say B, but if you watch on a large 4k screen or zoom in on your phone, you can see that A has more detail. At least I can and some others.
But it's 50-50, some say A some say b.
Maybe it's me expecting A to look better as it's 4k?
So I have watched this on my best screen in my house 65" samsung 4k tv. And I can see clear winner. Please make sure that you select the quality to 4k in this video as it may default to 1080p on your device. 👍
Please vote without cheating as the answer is in the end of the video.
The colors in A are sharper so i say A is the 4K
You have good eyes 👀,correct
Hi. Do you know if it’s the same camera module? As in will it take the same nd filters?
Thanks
It's seems exactly the same apart from the lens, so I'm pretty sure that it will take the same nd filters 👍
@@RobinDrones cheers. Nice car btw.
Very close, I thought the 4k would be much sharper than the mini 2 SE. The 2 SE has the edge in many shots. The 4K looks more saturated and at times looked a little confused on how to render the image at times. I suspect this is software refinement issues, not hardware, and the 4K being a newer model hasn't been fine-tuned to take full advantage of the 4K capabilities yet. It could even be the 2 SE software on the 4K slightly modified so everything on the 4K functions, at a guess just to get them out on the market for now, you know what the Chinese are like haha. Perhaps like everything, updates will likely change the 4K for the better? B has it for me but very close. I'd be happy with either.
Yeh both are good you can see more detail in the 4k if you zoom into the video 👍
@RobinDrones Yes, definitely, now you say it. I zoomed in, and I can clearly see the extra detail in the 4K footage. Definitely see the higher bit rate too 100mbs vs the Mini 2 SE's 40mbs rate. I have the Mini 2 SE myself. I was curious how the two compared, which lead me to your video. Cheers 😉
@user-wu3uj5xv5w Mini 2 se is still a great drone 😀
The thing I like about Dji drones is that they just work perfectly all the time 👍
Its a B for me as it looks more natural in color and seemed more smoother.
Thanks for letting me know 😀
B is better for me
What a fab location as well robin could here the skylarks on your footage and prime red kite country as well 🦅 🛩👍
Yeh, that's what that bird must have been near the end of the video a skylark, maybe. Yeh we have tons of red kites here. Almost all of the time, you look up in the sky you can spot one. I like them but some people think of them as pests! You can walk on the ridgeway for 87 miles from Marlborough to somewhere near Aylesbury 😉
B was sharper (and better color/lighting). I really thought it was the Mini 4k.😮 The mini SE is sold at 256usd ryt now, omg. Thinking of buying😮
Couldn't see that much difference Robin! Tell me how do you watch the footage back on your TV. What method? Please.
How old is your tv? You should just be able to download the RUclips app on your tv.
😅 Thanks forgetting back Robin I must have worded that wrong mate! 60" oled 4k Always watch you on the box, what I meant was can you add a lead to your drone and then into hdmi to watch playback straight to tv? (My own footage) Cheers Paul.
@paullawrence8572 That might work. I just use an sd card reader and plug that into the tv 📺 👍
Thanks Robin!
B
A
Honestly no difference .
Did you change the video resolution to 4k and zoom into the video?
They are very similar but in my opinion you can see more details in "A"
B
Thanks for you vote 👍
When you were flying away from the sun b seemed to have more detail when you were flying into the sun a seemed to have more detail
I preferred the overall look and colours of b but personally I think there is no difference and it’s a master stroke of marketing by DJI to re birth the mini 2 and with a different name
But why not - every other manufacturer of everything including phones, cameras, cars etc does exactly the same thing
I’m gonna buy one now because it’s niggling me that my 2 se only has 2.7k even though in reality it makes little to no difference
Great video cheers
Yeh, 1 good thing about the 4k is that it has 2.7k 60fps!
