Of all the videos on how to use drones, I have found yours to be the best. So many other RUclips channels focus just on basic how to fly content and miss the important creative tips on how to take great videos and photos. Thanks for providing such useful content that already has helped me to become a better drone videographer and photographer.
Concerning "stick drift": When I received my Mini 3 last year I immediately ordered a "controller protector/sun protector". This protects the screen and the sticks of the controller when I put the drone and controller in my bag. It also keeps the screen more visible on a sunny day. Additionally, I don't have to screw the sticks in and out (time saver) and it prevents losing the sticks.
Worth mentioning that swiping from the top of the screen on the RC opens extra options, including volume control where it's possible reduce the noise RC is making
Have to say your videos on the Mini 4 Pro are perfect cause I just upgraded to it from the Mini 2SE. Now subscribed and following you on IG as well, keep up the great work ! Edmonton, Alberta, Canada !
One to add is definetly the FCC fw hack. Here in the UK, the drones range is cack in CE mode but is miles in FCC mode. Video quality is a lot better too on the controller.

If your controller starts beeping because of low battery, just plug it to an external power bank that you should have with you at all times. Nobody told you about this I bet! -:)
16:35 I learnt this the hard way 🤣 I took it off from a slanted roof & it fell down 1 floor onto concrete . The drone survived, never doing it again tho XD
Excellent video, I always learn from your work! Just a little remark though: the correct screwdriver for the Mini 4 Pro screws is not Philips (PH) but JIS #00 (Japanese Industry Standard). PH screwdrivers tend to pop out of the screw and damaging it.
I have the Mini 3 and still watched this video, i would never have guessed that the propeller screws would be different? the Mini 3/pro and mini 4 pro all look very similar and like you just assumed the prop and screws would be the same.
Yeah, I made the same mistake! They look identical, but when I went to change them, I realized the screw was different. It meant I had to go back through and sort the props into two different boxes for the two drones.
Hey, I think investing in the Mini 4 Pro is a safe bet right now. As for the Air 3, I suspect the Air 3s is just around the corner, based on the leaks!

Whats your views on the two types of controllers? Is the one with the screen better with the one with adaptable phone controller? Just wondered if there were lot of pros and cons to both. Welcome aboard! Personally, I would highly recommend the controller with the screen. It's much handier, faster to get set up and running, and means you can still use your phone if required while flying the drone.
Very helpful, thank you! I just had a question about the propeller tightening. I replaced two blades recently but there’s no wiggle in them. I didn’t over tighten them (only finger tight) but I’m wondering if it should have that wiggle like you showed here? I feel like tighter is better as opposed to them flopping around.

Question, I was using the photo mode with the 4K , 48p camera to take zoom in selfies. Got on PC and all photos were pixelated??? any recommendations ?
does the mini 4 pro have low speed mode? I know there isn't any regulatory use for it, but it would be useful for using it indoors when filming some b roll.
The main reason is that social media platforms like Instagram recommend a minimum of 30fps for smooth playback, which is where most people post their clips, so it makes sense to use that. I’ve also noticed that with 25fps, faster drone movements can appear choppy, whereas 30fps avoids this issue. Plus, you can always slow 30fps down to 25fps if needed. Hope that helps!
While the props statement does ring true in some regards,lets clarify, the mini 3 ,3 pro and mini 4 use the same props just a different mounting option IE the screws so lets clarify they all use the same props but different screws ,so if you find that you are unable to purchase mini 4 specific props but mini 3 and 3pro props are available they would work ,you would just have to reuse your existing screws ,it would help if you buy a small bottle of blue loctite as thats the reason dji doesnt recommend reusing the old screws because they have loctite on them and taking them off essentially removes the old stuff ,but in most cases you would be absolutely fine reusing them

Here's one i haven't seen explained... Tapping the RC2 screen causes a yellow box to appear (sometimes??? IDK). How is it used? Seems too be something about exposure, but I'm not certain.

Hi, tkanks for good useful videos I have experienced problems with landing, sometimes it doesn't want to land where I set it off. And I can be forced to fly to another location to get ot down. Is there a way to force it to land?
Sometimes this happens if the drone thinks the ground underneath isn't suitable for landing. You should see a prompt appear on the screen when this happens.
I found the purchase process straightforward, but the download conversion and the suggested requirement to use the Gum road App became quite cumbersome. Even though I can download the single page content...that doesn't link to the subsequent pages,...at least on my Android. Samsung S24 ultra. Instead, I have to go look for each page. In that case, what's the purpose of the contents page? unless i've just missed something. Best...

Ah, yes! That actually caught me out too the first time-the button only needs a short press. It's a really fun feature!

I've lost 3 drones on long distance hikes, since cruise control I've had no issues or lost drones.
I would link Cruise Control to C2 since C1 per default is linked to setting waypoints. Less confusing for viewers, especially the beginners.

It doesn't by default, but you can go into the settings and reduce the max speed so that it moves very slowly.
