May I offer a constructive and respectful suggestion? The content you provide is highly relevant and useful, and there are times when I want to find specific information in one of your videos. However, since they are often long, I struggle to quickly locate that information, and sometimes I end up giving up and looking elsewhere. So, I would like to suggest this: could you please consider adding chapters to your videos (both current and older ones)? It’s really simple to do, and it would greatly help your subscribers when they want to search for specific information! Thank you so much in advance! And thank you for the impressive work you do on this channel!
Thank you so much for your kind feedback-I really appreciate it! I’m also grateful for your suggestion. I’ve just added chapters to this video and will work on adding them to older videos when I have the chance. Thanks again!
@@TheDroneCreative Thank you so much! It’s really kind of you to have welcomed my suggestion so favorably and to have responded so quickly! I’m convinced that many of your subscribers will greatly appreciate this extra effort, which further highlights your excellent content!
I agree with all of the above! Love your channel! I just bought my first drone 2 months ago (mini 4 pro) and enjoy watching & learning from all your content, chapters will definitely help sort things out! Keep up the GREAT vids, very appreciative!
Concerning "stick drift": When I received my Mini 3 last year I immediately ordered a "controller protector/sun protector". This protects the screen and the sticks of the controller when I put the drone and controller in my bag. It also keeps the screen more visible on a sunny day. Additionally, I don't have to screw the sticks in and out (time saver) and it prevents losing the sticks.
Worth mentioning that swiping from the top of the screen on the RC opens extra options, including volume control where it's possible reduce the noise RC is making
Subscribed. Where have you been my whole RUclips life????? Your tutorials are fantastic!!!! My Mini4 pro just showed up last night and thanks to your vids I was in the air and getting the settings to match my Mini SE in no time,
Very helpful, thank you! I just had a question about the propeller tightening. I replaced two blades recently but there’s no wiggle in them. I didn’t over tighten them (only finger tight) but I’m wondering if it should have that wiggle like you showed here? I feel like tighter is better as opposed to them flopping around.
I watched this video a few weeks back before I bought the Mini Pro 4. I must say, your presentation is so well done, some might think you were an actual DJI commercial. I'm an OG. I often have difficulty keeping with the information on new topics like this one. To make things worse, I've always struggled with any accent that wasn't from the Western United States. That said. you are remarkable in that your intonation makes comprehending each vowel effortless. I have much gratitude for all that you put into this beginners tutorial. It's about a close to perfection as anyone could ask for. Thank you
Another great video, Matthew! Cruise control is a really great feature. However, when recently trying it for the first time I just couldn't get it to work. I discovered that I was pressing the button longer than required. I realized that you just need to click it momentarily. I'm looking forward to experimenting with it more using the techniques you covered. Cheers!
You made a rare, very thorough and informative video. Can you make another about connecting pro mini 4 with some ar glasses and or googles 3 and comment on screen quality, size, possible nausea, correct connection with latest firmware, and whole experience?
Wow. This video contains some of the most helpful, potentially drone-saving, bits of information that I have NEVER heard anyone else mention. Thank you. Subbed you after seeing just this one video from your channel.....for offering up incredibly helpful information others don't think to share. 🤩🤩
Thank you so much! Comments like yours truly make all the hard work of creating these videos worthwhile. I sometimes wonder if what I’m doing is actually helping, but then I come across kind words like yours that keep me going. I really appreciate it!
Hey, good video thank you, I’m in the phase of thinking about purchasing a drone and have no idea where to start so videos like this show how complex or easy they are. I’m so undecided on whether to purchase one, I don’t know whether I’d get the full use out of one? I do have an interest in photography but just as a hobby. I just can’t decide whether to take the plunge on a drone, in particular this one.
Hey, I think investing in the Mini 4 Pro is a safe bet right now. As for the Air 3, I suspect the Air 3s is just around the corner, based on the leaks!
Can I plug in a battery pack to the controller and have it stay fully charged or charging while flying ? Or does the rc2 need to be off to be charging?
Of all the videos on how to use drones, I have found yours to be the best. So many other RUclips channels focus just on basic how to fly content and miss the important creative tips on how to take great videos and photos. Thanks for providing such useful content that already has helped me to become a better drone videographer and photographer.
Hi, I'm recently new to the channel and I'm really enjoying the informative videos it won't be long till I look at purchasing a mini 4 pro. Just a quick one! Whats your views on the two types of controllers? Is the one with the screen better with the one with adaptable phone controller? Just wondered if there were lot of pros and cons to both. It's just so I can make the right decision in getting the right controller for me. Thanks again.
Welcome aboard! Personally, I would highly recommend the controller with the screen. It's much handier, faster to get set up and running, and means you can still use your phone if required while flying the drone.
Great suggestions and advice here. I've been flying my mini 4 pro for a few months but am still learning about its many capabilities and potential pitfalls.
Have to say your videos on the Mini 4 Pro are perfect cause I just upgraded to it from the Mini 2SE. Now subscribed and following you on IG as well, keep up the great work ! Edmonton, Alberta, Canada !
Thanks very helpful tip for beginners I have Mavic classic and this tips will be great help with my flying and business as Drone operator in Real Estate
Thanks for making these tip videos! As a new Mini 4 Pro user they are very useful. What computer software do you use to edit your videos from the drone?
Re the controller going low in use - found out yesterday that you can plug in a power bank and it'll keep things afloat as long as the demands of the controller don't outweigh the current available from the backup power bank. If that's of interest the power banks I've found to be as reliable as I've needed have been those from Anker.
Awesome! Yeah, the booklet and individual pages are self-contained. So if you don't need the individual pages, you can delete them and just keep the booklet!
Need a little advice. I lost my Mini 2 in a lake.I have an Air 2S that I use for taking pics to post on Adobe photo and I was using the Mini 2 for roof inspection photos as it was so easy to get flying, etc…Should I get a Mini 4 pro or the Air 3? I want a drone that can take either as good or better photos than the Air 2S….much appreciated
How about a video covering the amazing scenery and particularly those ancient structures. Where is this? What are those buildings? It would make a great video.
Excellent video, I always learn from your work! Just a little remark though: the correct screwdriver for the Mini 4 Pro screws is not Philips (PH) but JIS #00 (Japanese Industry Standard). PH screwdrivers tend to pop out of the screw and damaging it.
Cheers for the info mate...really helpful, you should offer courses for those of us in GB...or further afield, sure you'd get interest...I am new to drone footage but though in IT I advise on SLR static photography, don't have a channel...most of my time is spent sorting out why Apple/Windows wont talk to the drones rather than enjoying them...be awesome if you had a vid of the Avata 2 and the new Neo....DJI fan boy so have bought them too lol, still not flown the Neo but sure if you haven't already, been tempted by the Avata and I love to hear your thoughts. Great Video, Thank you
does the mini 4 pro have low speed mode? I know there isn't any regulatory use for it, but it would be useful for using it indoors when filming some b roll.
Great Video! Quick question, I just bought the Specta Mini 4k. By any chance do you know if I can use the DJI or another 3rd party app? I can't seem to find a Specta app on Android. Ty
One to add is definetly the FCC fw hack. Here in the UK, the drones range is cack in CE mode but is miles in FCC mode. Video quality is a lot better too on the controller.
Question, I was using the photo mode with the 4K , 48p camera to take zoom in selfies. Got on PC and all photos were pixelated??? any recommendations ?
I’ve found all your videos incredibly helpful. I was able to make my decision on the Osmo Pocket 3 because of your reviews. Now I need help on the drone choice. I was “almost” sold on the Neo because of its ease of use (I don’t want to go down the rabbit hole of the whole piloting/flying thing) but I would need better quality imagery and stability. My goal is to make fitness videos outdoors showing running, hiking, cycling. But I guess that even though the Mini will record much better quality, I’ll need to pilot it - or is there some functionality similar to the “following” features of the Neo?
The DJI Mini 4 Pro and Mini 3 Pro can track you automatically as well. The main difference is that, unlike the Neo, you'll need to use a controller to set up and start tracking.
New to your channel and love it! Question, I am new to this, and fistly wanted to buy the neo but when being too picky with the video/picture quality I want a bit more... Do you think my only choice is the mini 4 pro or is the mini 3 pro as good? I also want it to manage a bit of low light images/videos. I wanted to buy the air 3 after seing a couple of videos but it has to be under 249grams so I guess I have to stay with the mini series. What do you recommend? I see a used one mini 3 pro here in Sweden with the rc2 controller för 600 euro and a mini 4 pro for minimum 1000 euro. What do you think? Thanks!
Hi, tkanks for good useful videos I have experienced problems with landing, sometimes it doesn't want to land where I set it off. And I can be forced to fly to another location to get ot down. Is there a way to force it to land?
Sometimes this happens if the drone thinks the ground underneath isn't suitable for landing. You should see a prompt appear on the screen when this happens.
The main reason is that social media platforms like Instagram recommend a minimum of 30fps for smooth playback, which is where most people post their clips, so it makes sense to use that. I’ve also noticed that with 25fps, faster drone movements can appear choppy, whereas 30fps avoids this issue. Plus, you can always slow 30fps down to 25fps if needed. Hope that helps!
I have the Mini 3 and still watched this video, i would never have guessed that the propeller screws would be different? the Mini 3/pro and mini 4 pro all look very similar and like you just assumed the prop and screws would be the same.
Yeah, I made the same mistake! They look identical, but when I went to change them, I realized the screw was different. It meant I had to go back through and sort the props into two different boxes for the two drones.
Here's one i haven't seen explained... Tapping the RC2 screen causes a yellow box to appear (sometimes??? IDK). How is it used? Seems too be something about exposure, but I'm not certain.
@@darthbadazz2118 Thanks. I experimented with it after your suggestion, and now see how it works. There are actually two functions: focus and exposure compensation.
I found the purchase process straightforward, but the download conversion and the suggested requirement to use the Gum road App became quite cumbersome. Even though I can download the single page content...that doesn't link to the subsequent pages,...at least on my Android. Samsung S24 ultra. Instead, I have to go look for each page. In that case, what's the purpose of the contents page? unless i've just missed something. Best...
Hey! In the downloads file, there should be a 'Booklet' folder. Inside, you’ll find a PDF with all the pages together in a booklet format. If you’re having any more trouble, send me an email, and I’ll be happy to help! :)
Just got my mini 4 pro…way better than the mini 3 pro…camera is amazing., much faster and great hawk avoiding capabilities…needs to be a camera on the back of the drone I woulda had a great video today 😂
Here’s a good tip. Don’t try to land your drone on a small boat. The drone lands in a straight vertical line, the boat moves more you think. I tried it, my new drone sank very quickly. I only had it for a week.
if you use the drone in a sunny day and you are capturing a beach scene that include of course also water, do you use ND or CPL? I always struggle with this decision because I don't know if it's better have the control on the exposure or sacrifice it to cut the reflections of the water...what do you suggest?
If your controller starts beeping because of low battery, just plug it to an external power bank that you should have with you at all times. Nobody told you about this I bet! -:)

Do u do mini 3 pro cheat sheet
Very great idea. Thank you
Great video, thx!
Thanks for watching!
The mini 3 screws are far superior! Shame they are not like that across the range
Great tips!
Cruise Control, wow thx bro
Here’s a good tip. Don’t try to land your drone on a small boat. The drone lands in a straight vertical line, the boat moves more you think. I tried it, my new drone sank very quickly. I only had it for a week.
My condolences
if you use the drone in a sunny day and you are capturing a beach scene that include of course also water, do you use ND or CPL? I always struggle with this decision because I don't know if it's better have the control on the exposure or sacrifice it to cut the reflections of the water...what do you suggest?
Thx a lot for this video !!! BR
If your controller starts beeping because of low battery, just plug it to an external power bank that you should have with you at all times. Nobody told you about this I bet! -:)
