"Copper bullets" live at lunario. Playing drums and singing on a fairly quick and intense song while at 7350ft above sea level while still in her mid to late teens
You're not the only one who's blown away, a lot of people are when they see them perform (either live OR live video). They truly are talented individuals and certainly are top performers. They're starting to get noticed more now, and so they should - they deserve every bit of recognition they are gaining currently. They've already put in the work, the years of practice, the performing and recording - it's their time to shine! Thanks for the reaction Juliet. A big thumbs up (like) as usual! 👍
Yeah they obviously have some natural talent. But I think the main reason they're as good as they are is because they have worked their asses off at music and showmanship since they were very young kids. They are still really young but have definitely put their 10,000 hrs in
Also great parenting and great opportunities. Their dad is a sound engineer, and they all studied in a bilingual school while growing up. But they worked fucking hard for sure.
@@Lfmpaes I know many, many family with great parenting and ALL opportunities and they don't have one single kid this talented, not even close...let alone three of them.
Great song from their Queen of the Murder Scene (QOTMS) album. A full blown concept album they wrote as teenagers. The male part was voiced live by their manager Rudy when they performed the album live at Lunario. The album, and that show are definitely worth a look.
I can't choose a favorite The Warning song but this one is definitely a top contender. It has everything I love about TW all in one song. This song is the first track and prologue for their concept albums Queen Of The Murder Scene. I recommend at some point watching the whole album live at Lunario. Not a bad song in it and the story is really great.
An epic song they created when they were barely in their teens. Ale given major credits for this song when she was 11 or 12 years old. The Spanish spoken is a prerecorded track of their manager Rudy. In earlier performances Rudy joined them on stage in the role of a preacher, preaching to the audience. In that haunting outro wail by Dany , done in a single breath while her fingers are busy on her guitar! Proof that Dany and Pau are aliens with two brains that can act independent of each other! All three of them are! And in earlier performances with Rudy, he was dressed like a Man in Black!
It is astonishing. I've seen the videos of her playing on a full drum set at 9 and 10 years old, so small the drums seemed to tower over her, and she threw the sticks around like a pro, with this intensity and seriousness far beyond her years.
Pau, Dany and Ale are a 1 in a 1,000,000,000 combination of Talent, Hard Work and the Highest Standards ...and they share DNA!! 🤯 I will never get tired of saying: I LOVE THIS BAND !! ✌️💖🎼
If you were blown away by Pau's singing+drumming here, you ain't seen nothing till you've seen her sing "23," where she adds on a much higher level of emotional expression, especially in the third verse.

Remember to watch The Warning do their first, "As adults", major TV debut on Jimmy Kimmel on 6/27/2024. I love when Ale comes in with her mid-range backing vocals. Pau is an unusually talented Pauwerhouse. There are a few drummers that took on singing duties and excelled at it. The first one that comes to mind is Phil Collins when he was in Genesis.
Thanks for the reaction, I’m on this ride also!! They will get to perform if front of a US national TV audience come June 27th. They are appearing on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, a late night TV show! Great exposure and their new album, Keep Me Fed, drops the next day!!!👏👀⚡️
Pau is incredible...as they all are. I'm kind of a team Dany guy myself. Maybe it's because I"m the oldest of three siblings...but I just vibe with her personality and think she's become one of the truly great rock singers out there today. Luckily though all three are equally amazing and unique and we get to enjoy the rewards of all their talent and hard work.
I found myself gravitating towards Ale, probably because I'm a bass player myself, and also the youngest sibling, but the three of them as a unit are unstoppable
Everyone loves Paulina because she's a 5 foot nothing stick of dynamite that could (and probably will) explode at any moment. Also because she is so tiny people feel like they want to protect her.
I think this is the concert where Pau was in tears at the end because of the huge outpouring of love from the audience, we (The Warning Army) love these talented sisters as much as they love us. They are getting the recognition they deserve ❤🤘
Y si,, México rocks the world with these three sisters “ talentosas, versátiles, inteligentes, bellas y con humildad ,, Alejandra,Paulina y Daniela Villarreal ! 🇲🇽Si señor.
Awesome reaction, thank you. This band is magical, I’ve never seen a band affect people the way that they do. I quit asking why and just started enjoying their music. A band you may want to check out, other than The Warning of course, is Eva under Fire. Unstoppable or Separate Ways (Journey cover ). They toured with The Warning, The Pretty Reckless and Halestorm. All women led bands. Can’t wait for the next Warning reaction, thanks again.
There are a few notable singing drummers. Two that come to mind are Don Henley from The Eagles and Karen Carpenter from The Carpenters. Oh and Phil Collins from Genesis.
Might I add Kelly Keagy (Night Ranger), Gil Moore (Triumph) and Roger Taylor (Queen). IMHO, the only drummer listed here that comes anywhere near Pau with respect to playing and singing with such passion is Roger Taylor.
Pau is the ballad writer/singer of the band. She loves to write and perform intimate ballads that accurately portray a character who proceeds to rip your heart out and stomp on it. As the emotive empath of the band, she knows how to make grown men cry. Songs like *Black Holes* and *Show Me the Light* (Dakota Bar 2018 performances), *Dust to Dust* and *The End - Stars Always Seem to Fade* (Lunario 2018 performances), *23, Revenant, Narcisista,* and *Breathe* (Teatro Metropolitan), and her solo cover of Radiohead's *Creep,* are shining examples of vocal interpretation. Dany is the preeminent powerhouse rock and roll front woman, and awesome in a totally different way, but Pau is special for her sensitivity and verbal dynamics. Oh, and she's an award-winning drummer, too!
This band is the explanation point of Generational talent. There have been a few drummers that sing and play, but none that are like Pau. All 3 sisters leave so many of us in awe.

Dust to Dust el primer tema del album conceptual de QOTMS que es una obra maestra del rock, interpretado por Paulina la mejor baterista de rock del 2023,una estrella del nuevo rock
For most of her life, Pau has been singing while playing and exercising. Now, she sings while running on a treadmill. This has allowed her to control her voice from bouncing or warbling as she move around while striking the drums. Hey, it worked. And yes, there are a few drummers who could sing like she does while playing, but the list is pretty short.

This song, back when it was released, really sealed it for me, I was all in on this band after hearing it. When it's time for a greatest hits album, this better be on it!

Singing drummers.... there aren't very many. Female singing drummers are even more rare. Karen Carpenter did it back in the early 70s and was a real ground breaker but most of her songs were not as driving as with The Warning. Phil Collins did it for a while but steps away from the drums to sing lead for Genesis, but he was also an icon. Agreed, I also don't recall ever seeing a drummer who could sing lead vocals, like that with that kind of power, while playing full-on drums. I've never seen anything like it.
To summarize some comments, how this band "does it" comes down to raw talent, sure, but more than anything, passion, commitment, and practice, practice, practice including physical training. I've seen at least one video of Pau and Dany lifting weights, and there's a rumor of treadmill-running while singing (any vids or interviews, anyone?). In a BTS video for one show, Dany is seen doing pushups, I assume to warm up her muscles, as well as vocal warmups.
The Warning is phenomenal, but also amazingly humble. They are young, but have already been a band for ten years, and put out so many incredible songs. They are also already inspiring other young musicians. Freeze The Fall is a young band out of Canada that you should check out. They first posted on You Tube just over a year ago. They have a new song Broken Glass dropping June 19th.
Broken Glass is awesome. Freeze The Fall are still in high school. They are huge fans of The Warning and have covered their songs. I would not be surprised to see that they open for The Warning in Canada sometime.
@@TylerLL2112 Yes, but I hope they announce some more shows in the US. The ones they are doing are not working out for me! Are you getting to see them?
@@TimberWolf762 Yes. I'll be catching them in Baltimore. (I'm not at all far from there.) I bought my Dad a ticket to see them as well. I haven't really told him much other than "They're a rock band of 3 sisters from Mexico." So unless he looks into them more on his own, I think he'll be caught by surprise by the level of show Dany, Pau and Ale give. For your sake, I too hope they announce more shows in the US. Take care!
I saw them with Halestorm, Pretty Reckless and Lilith Czar and they rocked the the place down. The video for Evolve is amazing when Pau gives a scream that is unbelievable
As amazing as Pau is, my favorite part is Dany at the end. Three incredible talents. It is incredible when Pau sings while drumming. Check out classic rockers Dea Matrona (two women swap guitar and bass depending on the song) and blues rockers like Ally Venable, Hannah Wicklund and Madison Galloway to name a few are just killing it. They sing and write and play guitar and some like Dea Matrona produce their own music.

Where are you going? Don't trust all that you hear There's no use in running It's better to stay here
Amazing video, love The Warning. The only person, for me, who comes close to Pau for singing and drumming at the same time is Jen Ledger from Skillet, she is incredible, you should check them out. Especially Awake and Alive, banging track!!
Pau has workouts where she runs in a treadmill while singing. It is similar to the lung workout of military singing while running or marching. The practice builds lung capacity and endurance at the same time
PAU practice her singing and breath control while running on a treadmill. What a Superstar!!!

Pau is such a little dynamo! ♥
5:25 Just to note, one of the lead singers of the Eagles was the drummer.
Also, Karen Carpenter was a brilliant drummer.
Great Reaction 🎬🤘⚡🤘 RORH The Queen's 👑 of Rock 🤘... ✔️ Out 23.. or Narcissistic❤
Same reaction I had, the first and twentieth time I saw it! As you suggest, all three are amazing, but Pau is simply not of this world.
❤✌🤘⚡🔥
It's magic.
I🖤TW🤘
Queen of the murder scene ❤
Subbing for more of *The Warning!*
TW! My brother in TWA. Hope you’ve been well!

Hey, come on in walk this way
Look what I have prepared to show you
Let me show you
How things can quickly unfold
In the end everything just turns back
Turns back into
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Hey! Where are you going?
Don't trust all that you hear
Now, take it in and behold
I don't seek right or wrong
I seek the truth found in death
Goes hand in hand with remorse
Is it something that is worth losing?
Worth pursuing?
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Hey! Where are you going?
Don't trust all that you hear
Aren't you sick of running?
It's better to stay here
Hermano! la salvación es algo que se gana!
Suelta tu mano del rencor y
Despierta a una nueva luz adentro de ti
Aunque tus hermanos intenten
Sumirte en la obscuridad
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Dust to dust our bones will rust
And we shall start again
Hey! Where are you going?
Don't trust all that you hear
There's no use in running
It's better to stay here
Great reaction enjoyed watching the video again
Amazing video, love The Warning. The only person, for me, who comes close to Pau for singing and drumming at the same time is Jen Ledger from Skillet, she is incredible, you should check them out. Especially Awake and Alive, banging track!!
Pau has workouts where she runs in a treadmill while singing. It is similar to the lung workout of military singing while running or marching. The practice builds lung capacity and endurance at the same time
That’s crazy!
🤘
And they say the middle child never gets attention
Locura!!! UGH
