These girls are what are called ‘ old souls’ meaning they are wise beyond their years. I mean come on this video is world class! Why hasn’t it won a dozen awards? Come on!
Comfortable on stage? At twenty-ish they’ve already opened for Foo Fighters, Guns n Roses, Muse, Halestorm, and a host of others. They’ve just celebrated 10 years as a band, which means they’ve been doing this over half their lives. There is no other band today more ready and deserving to become essentially the biggest band in the world.

I caught them twice in 2022 with Halestorm and The Pretty Reckless and once in 2023 with Godsmack. I'm bummed that their tour schedule doesn't have them anywhere near me for the rest of this year, but I'm hopeful for next year. I NEED to see them headline, they're incredible live.

Dany 24 the guitarist/lead singer is playing a baritone guitar, which has a neck with more spaces between frets, letting her use much thicker 14-70 strings and is tuned in drop A, Ale 19 the bassist is also playing in drop A and Pau 22 the drummer is laying down the groove.
The Warning is their own genre. Their music is for everyone and reminds of the great rock & roll of the 70's, 80's and 90's. I'm 73 and love their music. Most of their great performances are LIVE and there is a concert from Aug. of 2022 at the "Teatro Metropolitan" CDMX(Mexico City) that was professionally recorded and is fantastic in it's entirety. 🤟TWA

Yep they’ve been doing this for a little over a decade. That is why they look so comfortable up on stage. These sisters are on fire right now.
Well, they HAVE been a performing band for more than 10 years; which is impressive as they are 24, 22 and 19.
If you were to go watch some of their very early videos when they were just starting out, you would know that these Mexican sisters were not yet little bilingual Catholic school girls when they first got into music at summer camps. Mom's a dentist. Dad's an engineer. He used to run a recording studio. They grew up listening to their parents' rock favorites and watching concerts on TV. The kids all learned piano first, then discovered Rock Band, the video game. Suddenly, they were choosing instruments. Dany started guitar lessons at eight. Pau started drum lessons at six. Ale started bass at seven, a few years later, as she's the youngest. Their first two albums were crowd funded and independently produced! Before watching any more of their music, I'd suggest you watch their two TEDx Talks on the University of Nevada channel, from way back in 2016 and 2017. Perhaps also watch The Warning: The Mexican Rock Stars Who Happen To Be Sisters [TIDAL Rising Documentary] on the TIDAL channel. Maybe watch Mayday in the Making, parts 1-6. As much as you like it now, if you know who they are, and where they come from, their music will make a lot more sense. These ladies are now 19, 22, and 24, and just finished a sold out tour, 19 dates in Europe and the UK. They're headed to Japan, Canada, the USA, Europe, and other places this year. They already sold out a 10,000 seat arena in Mexico City for next February, and added another date there, due to demand. Their fourth album drops in late June. They are the real deal. They were a great cover band as LITTLE KIDS. But they don't need to do covers anymore. They are as good or better than the bands they covered! And in most cases, they are more fun to watch. Their superpowers are LIVE performance, music COMPOSITIONAL skills, LYRICAL depth, STAGE presence and charisma, and personal integrity.
Welcome to The Warning Army. Meet the Villarreal Velez sisters from Monterrey Mexico, the site of this concert footage. Daniela on guitar and most lead vocals, Paulina on drums and some lead vocals, and Alejandra on bass and backing vocals.
They aren't kids anymore, but they were when they started. Today Dany is 24, Pau (pronounced Pow) is 22, and Ale is 19. The have been playing together over 10 years. Got their big start when their cover of Enter Sandman, at ages 14 12 an 9, went viral. They have opened for Foo Fighters, Muse, Halestorm, Def Leppard, G'N'R, and 3 Days Grace. Just finished a European headlining tour.
This song is the 5th single from the upcoming 4th album, Keep Me Fed due out June 28. Dany is playing a baritone Fender Strat here, in drop A. Ale's Spector 5 string bass is also in Drop A. Released Friday Apr 5, video was shot the weekend before. Not written for the eclipse, I think they wanted to get it released in time for that on the 8th.

Paulina (Pau): Bombardment of drums, lead/backing vocals and piano. Pau won the Drumeo 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year award. The hosts said that she "dominated" the voting of "a hard category to win". She also is known as: "a 5 foot stick of dynamite that is always lit" !!! And yes, I am a huge Pau fan!!!!

The Villarreal Vélez sisters were raised in Monterrey, and all received training on various instruments at an early age. At some point in their childhood, Daniela and Paulina had selected guitar and drums as their primary instruments, respectively. When the youngest of the three, Alejandra, selected bass guitar as her primary instrument at about age 7, the sisters decided to form a rock power trio in 2013. They learned to play rock songs, often via the Rock Band video game series, and posted videos of their performances to RUclips.
In 2014, 12-year-old Paulina was profiled in the women's drumming publication Tom Tom Magazine. The band first gained widespread notice later in 2014 when, at ages 9 through 14, their RUclips video in which they performed Metallica's "Enter Sandman" went viral among rock music fans, eventually earning more than 20 million views. The video received attention from Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett, who offered particular praise for Paulina, saying, "The drummer kicks maximum ass!"

Great first time watching The Warning , I guess you might have liked them 😂. It’s quite a common effect they have on new viewers, I’ve been lucky enough to have been in right at the start in 2013/4 when they became a band - it’s been a great experience watching them grow from kids playing covers (very well) into what they are now, world class Rock stars!

The Warning recently celebrated 10 years as a band. Dany (guitars, vocals) is 24, her sister Pau (drums, vocals) is 22 and their "little" sister Ale (bass and backing vocals) is 19. The have a sold out 10,000 seat show in February 2025 in Mexico city. They sold out a headlining European Tour in April of this year and they are just getting warmed up!

Three classically trained sisters when they were still tiny little kids. In 2014 they captured the world’s attention when they were only 9, 12 and 14 years old, covering Metallica’s Enter Sandman, filmed in their basement for their grandparents to see their progress. Their fans, The Warning Army, gave them support and encouragement as they documented their progress, covering songs from AC/DC, Guns and Roses, Ozzy Osborne, Muse, Foo Fighters and Metallica, often playing in front of school kids. Honing their skills. By 2015 they were writing and performing their own music on stage. Opening for their idols, like Guns and Roses and Foo Fighters. Metallica inviting them to rework Enter Sandman with Canadian singer Alessia Cara for the 30th anniversary Blacklist Album. You can see all this on video, when they were children in pajamas, playing like professional veterans, to now doing Automatic Sun! All three can take turns singing lead while playing their instruments. Let that sink in! The youngest bassist Ale, recognized by Spector guitars, designing specially made guitars for her. Fans call her the ‘Thunder Goddess’. Drummer Pau can sing lead with intensity or break your heart with ballads WHILE drumming! DRUMEO named her as Best Rock Drummer of 2023. Lead singer and eldest sister Dany, recognized by her idols, Matt Bellamy of Muse and Lzzy Hale of Halestorm, both had specially made guitars gifted to her, built to her specifications. Only band I've ever followed that doesn't have one song I dislike or would skip. Only band I've traveled over 2 hours to see. Some of the nicest people, down to earth people I've ever met. They just finished a sold out tour leg, 19 venues across Europe, and are heading off for 3 dates in Japan in early June then another run through Europe. They recently announced a few US shows before hooking up again with Halestorm in the Fall for a run through Canada with Halestorm and Evanescence. They bring their A game whether the audience is 50 or over 60,000. They have opened for a lot of bands including Def Leppard, Foo Fighters, Guns & Roses, Muse (9 times) and toured with Three Days Grace, Halestorm and Eruca Sativa plus many festivals. This year they have played Shiprocked and are scheduled to play Wacken Open Air as well as many more concerts as headliners. Their 4th studio album comes out on June 28th.
I have tickets for their Detroit show in September & haven't been this stoked for a concert in 30 years. (Siouxsie & the Banshees in 1994, also in Detroit.)
Sounds like they learned some distortion tricks from Royal Blood on their tour last summer but just like the cues taken from their hero’s Muse, they have absorbed it and made it their own. They just continue to grow and get even better. This will be the band of the 20s clip it!
Yup. They’re comfortable on stage. Ale, the now 19yr old Bassist, was only 12 when they opened for Def Leppard, and 13 when they opened for The Killers in front of more than 30K. Like many of my generation, this Canadian Boomer had lost interest in the current music scene. These 3 young women inspired me to buy my first concert tickets of this millennium.
In 2022 they played over 100 shows, in 2023 around 80 shows, in 2024 they have played around 40 shows +50 that are yet to happen + a few more that may take place during Nov-Dec.
They opened for Def Leppard very young around 2019, and for the Killers, Stryper, Alice Copper.. and from 2022 to Sammy Hagar, The Foo Fighters, Lzzy Hale, The Pretty Reckless, Three Days Grace. Then GnR and Muse.

Even though they were pretty good for their age, they traveled to Boston to go study more at Berklee College of Music and also revived help from David Ellefson of Megadeth back in 2015… They currently have 3 incredible studio albums and their 4th is coming out June 28th… In the past they always had big names wanting to take control of them and turn them into something else, but in 2020 they found the right place and signed with Lava Records… It took 7 months to negotiate but they have full control of their music… In 2021, they had a full circle moment with Metallica inviting them to make their own version of Enter Sandman for the Blacklist Album… They’ve played many amounts of crazy shows and headlining sold out tours in the US, Canada, Europe, and Latin America… They also played with great bands like GNR, Foo Fighters, and Muse to name a few… If you want to react to them live, their most recently pro recorded live show at Teatro Metropolitan in México is also incredible and now has over 2 million views… They also were invited to the 2023 VMAs and unlike the others, they killed their performances in one take bring rock & roll back to the show… “Evolve” and “More” are the 2 songs they did and you should definitely react to… These women are always treating their fans with kindness, respect, and just like family… Their parents and family are their team and has been very supportive from the start… They’re literally the most positive and fun group of ppl I’ve ever listened of any genre in my 24 years of living life and you’ll never here anything bad about them🤘Being apart of TWA (The Warning Army) we all appreciate this band for staying true to themselves since the start along with the talent, growth, and success of these amazing women

I have one question for rock music professionals, music critics? Why has the group not yet been recognized or awarded a Grammy Award? Like them, no one else deserves this award in all categories. Album of the year, best hit, best performer. This is very unfair. This group is by far the most progressive and most popular, gathering full halls and stadiums around the world. Who agrees with me?

Pau was just voted the Drumeo Rock Drummer of the Year; They're 4th EP drops next month and they've spent the past two years opening for Foo Fighters, Guns & Roses, Halestorm, The Pretty Reckless and Muse (among others). Now they're on a headlining tour in Europe. Metallica asked them to do a cover of Enter Sandman; Ale is a Spector Basses artist; Dany is with PRS and Pau with DW Drums and Vic Firth... I'd say they're doing ok for themselves so far.

I loved your reaction and insightful comments. Welcome to the Warning! This is a power trio of Mexican sisters. They just celebrated their 10th anniversary as a band, and currently are only in their late teens and early twenties. They started in grade school! They came onto the worldwide scene with their version of Metallica's Enter Sandman when they were only 14, 12, and 9! That RUclips video went viral and was just the beginning of what was to come.
Time to learn the girls' names! Dany is the lead singer and guitarist, age 24. Pau is drummer and can be second lead singer, also does backups, age 22. Ale is the bassist and backup singer, age 19. All three also play piano as they are classically trained! Their full names are Daniella, Paulina, and Alejandra Villarreal.
Many of us became hooked on the Warning with their two Tedx performances in 2016 and 2017. For further reactions, I would also use the Teatro Metropolitan 2022 concert. It was professionally recorded so the audio and video were phenomenal. There are many of their best songs in that concert. And more currently some new ones from their coming 4th album in June. Welcome to your new favorite band! They HAVE been doing this for decades. Well... for ONE decade! The Warning first performed at ages 9, 11, and 13, (now 19, 22, and 24). The Warning are Alejandra (bass, backing vocals, occasional lead vocals rarely), Paulina (drums, backing and lead vocals), and Daniela (guitars, principal lead vocals, backing vocals). All three sing and all three play piano. The Villarreal sisters actually first played together when they were 7, 10, and 12! They are from Monterrey, Nuevo León, México. Great reaction! The Villarreal-Velez sisters are amazing songwriters and performers from Mexico who live in Monterrey, San Pedro Garza Garcia, Nuevo Leon. Each one of their original songs is great. Their second album, "QUEEN OF THE MURDER SCENE", is a concept album. It follows a girl's journey into unrequited love; from infatuation and obsession on into stalking and murder, then madness and the fight over her soul. It is a masterpiece. It was nominated for Best Rock Album at the 2019 Independent Music Awards.
Their 1st full-length LP, "XXI CENTURY BLOOD", is also very good and is packed with many great songs. The video for the title track, "XXI Century Blood", was nominated for and won many awards.
Their very 1st released recordings are from their 6 song EP, "ESCAPE THE MIND"; and it is amazing.
Despite being courted by numerous offers from many major record labels, The Warning have stayed independent through the years; relying on crowd funding to finance their projects. They refused to give up creative control over their material ... down to even the clothes they wear on stage.
After 7 months of negotiations, The Warning signed a 5 album recording contract with Lava/Republic Records/Universal Music Group in the fall of 2020.
They decided to release 1/2 (6 songs) of their completed 3rd full-length album in an EP called "MAYDAY" October 8th, 2021. The entire album was released June 24th, 2022: called "ERROR". "Disciple" is my favorite track!
They are going to release their 4th studio album "KEEP ME FED" June 28th, 2024. And 6 singles off the new album have already been released: "MORE", "S!CK", "HELL YOU CALL A DREAM", "QUE` MA`S QUIERES", "AUTOMATIC SUN", and recently "BURNOUT".
The Warning do not come from a family of musicians, however, their parents are huge fans of classic rock.
Both parents are professionals (recording engineer and dentist) and they enrolled their daughters into a private Catholic English Bilingual school Liceo de Monterrey, Mexico.
They also started the girls with classical piano lessons at ages 6, 4 and 5 years old.
Regular family functions included gathering around the TV with popcorn and watching LIVE concert dvds of legendary bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Queen and AC/DC.
When their parents got them the video game Rock Band at ages 8, 6 and 3, they went nuts playing it obsessively. Shortly thereafter they got real instruments with lessons from professional teachers: and the rest is history. Amazing they are 24, 22 and 19 years old and have already written, arranged, and released #50+ original songs (not including the remaining songs from the upcoming 4th studio album).
Drummer Paulina writes around 75% of The Warning's songs. Most of her songs begin in rock ballad form; starting with a concept, then chord progression, melody and basic song structure on the piano. She may only have a verse and a chorus when she brings it before her sisters. Together they transpose each instrument's part and "rockify" the song. They complete any lyrics, bridges and any arranging, etc. making changes along the way. A 2/3 approval vote of each instrument's part and each vocal harmony before it becomes a completed song. Paulina has said if not for her sisters, her songs would be different. Both guitarist Daniela and bassist Alejandra write equally great songs; just not as many.
Drummer Paulina recently won Drumeo's 2023 Rock Drummer of the Year and won Best Up and Coming Artist in Modern Drummer Magazine's recent reader's poll.
I was fortunate enough to get to meet them after their show January 16th, 2020 at The Whisky a Go-Go in Hollywood, California. I had the opportunity to meet with them 3 more times during the 10 shows I attended on their 2022 North American MAYDAY Tour and 2023 ERROR WORLD TOUR. I have talked with their parents on 2 occasions and have had many conversations with their manager Rudy. I am going to meet with them again October 9th, 2024 at The Bellwether in downtown Los Angeles.
Aside from their music, they are just normal, sweet, intelligent, and fun-loving young ladies who are truely grateful and endearing to their fans.

I see this is the first time you react to The Warning on your channel. Dude, you are just about to open Pandora's box, expect the flood of The Warning Army members giving all sorts of interesting facts and recommendations. "You've been warned", "The last song you hear from them will be your favorite" and "They don't have a single bad song in their entire catalog" are religion here. And if you fall down the rabbit hole, and delve not only into their music but into them as people, you'll understand why many of us love them and think they're the best. I mean, not the best rock band, not the best girl band: the best overall.

They’ve been a band since Ale the bassist and youngest was 8 and were doing festivals since she was 11. If you get the chance check out some of the documentaries or interviews they’ve done. They are good. They write good music. They are totally comfortable on stage. All three sing well. Two of them are lead vocals. Pau is killer on Drums. Dany is killer on guitar. Ale is killer on bass. Dany do some pedal magic to sound like 10 guitars when playing. And they Rock! And they are only 20ish. And the world has just noticed them. We that saw them 10 years ago, when they really were kids, we are not all that surprised. It was bound to happen. It was only a matter of time. And now is the time.

They have so much history on their RUclips channel. Next rainy day dive in for a few hours. Obviously their technical skills have matured through the years but from the beginning they've always had the gift of making your feel their music and emotion. One of the few bands that I've seen that I prefer live.
