Love your reviews, please keep them coming. I personally think that HEINZ is one of the most overated food companies out there. There are many other companies that do products just as good, if not better, for far less money
watched a BBC show where they were at the Heinz factory and apart from the guy showing the presenter around i never saw another worker......and the amount of tins they were producing was insane
Or you could just get a pepperoni pizza and bang an entire tin of beans on top. Amazing. Less than £2.50. Everyone will think you're weird but its epic.
I live in the US and can’t get the products you feature but love your style. I still like British style products that we can get here. I have been in the US for over 50 years but still buy British and Scottish style foods. Keep up the good work.🏴🇬🇧🇺🇸
Heinz made this back in the 90's. Used to be less than a pound from Morrisons. Then they stopped making them. They weren't nice but you could get used to them. Takes me back...
Just think of my poor hubby who is now limited to 2G salt/day. It is a hideous diet to follow but hey ho. He wouldn’t be able to have the pizza. The channel is great for me as occasionally I need to keep convenience food in the freezer if I’m too ill to cook and the brilliant videos but Gaz shows me every day what I can or can’t keep. Thank you young man!
All Heinz products are ridiculously expensive. Heinz soups in Morrisons £1.75, presumably why they are doing multi-by 5 tins for £5. Incidentally Morrisons 75 pence a can, just as good. If anyone is interested check out the Heinz family you may be surprised.
Well said! I have & while your at it check out mr kellog. You know the man who championed breakfast cereals! The type that are supposed to be good for you but take most of your gut bacteria with it leaving a damaged immune system. Hmmmm
The crust is one of the best parts, remember when we were kids our Mam's or dinner lady's at school would tell us to eat the crust of our butties as would put hair on our chests 😂
On the subject of pizzas, Iceland have some new ones called "Italpizza" which say they're "Italy's number one pizza brand", would be interesting to see if you think it lives up to the claim
Heinz products have really gone downhill the last few years, there are alternative products, in Lidl and Aldi that are just as good, without the hefty price tag associated with the brand name, thanks for trying it out though, it means I don't have to👍
Yes Iceland. And they're getting worse. Not much Iceland brand none frozen goods and more gimmicky products by the big brands. I was going to do an online shop last night but the pies I always order have disappeared with just a branded alternative at twice the price and the Iceland brand milk I order wasn't showing up with cravendale the only option. It'll be interesting to see if the products are available in store and if they're only offering online customers the more expensive products. I can't get my wife's croissants online in the 3 for £3 deal now. Only in-store. Online they want £1.75 per pack.
The sugar in the bean juice disguises the level of salt. If it is that bland add some pepper, or even cayenne pepper. As you say it is glorified beans on toast with a sprinkling of cheese. Thanks for trying it out for us Gary. How about a comparison video next time, say two of the £1 ready meals from Iceland and a major supermarket? Lasagne would be interesting.
Hi Gareth, thanks for another brill review. I stopped buying heinz about a year ago when they started to rip people off using covid and cost of living as excuse. Pizza looked average at best. Better making your own. What's coming next, Harry Ramsden"s fish tea pizza with bits of bread and butter on top?.keep up the spot on work. Best wishes from Scotland.
Hi gareth, I've seen this pizza plenty of times but have always avoided buying it, as you say, it's all just gimmicky....I just don't see the point of baked beans on a pizza. Thanks for your review though and the base did sound nice and crispy, maybe a bit more grated cheese on top for improvement 👍🏻
i bet the dream job , would to be a experimental chef for these companies who release new products , they think of a new idea , and get a chef to make a dozen variants of them all and all taste test to see ones best for manufacturing
Hi Gareth. A rather novel pizza beans and sausage. I'm not overly fond of cheese and beans, so this would be something I wouldn't bother with if it were available in Australia. Nice review though as usual. Cheers mate 👍😀
Yeah… I don’t know what to think. To me it actually sounds like it should work sausage and beans and cheese on a crispy base. Like toast. But clearly it’s not happening. Heinz have lost the plot gone down hill and prices through the roof. I haven’t bought a Heinz product in years. Interesting review mate. 😂
Great review u could get a cheap pizza and put a tin of beans and sausages and maybe mix some seasonings I have an idea I love the takeaway Iceland stuff crust ones buy one of them and put beans etc thanks 4 the review tho 😊 I don't think I buy them ones
I would try it 👀👉👈 Local pizza place used to have a "fenway park" pizza and it had boston baked beans, hotdogs, onions and a bbq sauce drizzle on top. Was weird but i liked it 😬
Personally I love putting beans on my pizza. Then again I love beans with pretty much everything. Even with my lasagne or fish n chips. Our lass thinks I'm crazy for doing so 😅
Have ever tried Aromat..a type of cheese salt.Available in most supermarkets. HIGHLY RECOMMEND..Perfect on eggs,chips,pizza,salad..anything.. get some you will be amazed.
Its yet another Heinz rip off, definitely just have beans on toast with cheese and get some real sausage not that proceessed 'coin' thanks for the review Gareth, excellent as usual 😊
It's not new, I had this DECADES ago! ... I used to make my own too, Sausage and Beans on a Pizza! Hey Gareth, I've been shopping to Aldi! Come and have a look at what I bought! ... "I'm New" Cod & Potato Fishcakes, £1.89 for a 500 gram bag! ... Not tried 'em yet, but I'm sure they'll be good ... RUclipsr "Fat Andy" reviewed the Iceland pound fishcakes, or was It you? 🤣
It say sausage coins if it was pound coins you would at least get your money back, you turned 1 of them into a 50p haha, the smell of the smoked sausage did it for me then the nice smell of the beans, but I put a little butter in with mine when I do them on the hob....It was a good crunch but like you say a little bland I added a touch of white pepper, the salt content you could tast on the back of your throat and the dryness in your mouth a hour or so afterwards, they will bring the spaghetti one out next week. Keep up the good work Gareth, and sort your hair out.......
Hi Gareth, well you got to try it, the best thing you can do is to have a pizza and a bowl of beans and dunk you pizza in the beans ,like you said it's a gimmick but it works .Enjoy your pizza and I will catch you soon, Take care
Panic over , I thought for a moment you weren't going to do your pizza joke , its one of those things that you know is coming but it's still funny , probably more so because you know its coming .
I'm always intrigued how you manage to miss the centre of a pizza when cutting it in half! Have you tried cutting it into _six_ slices, which you could probably cope with rather than eight?! 🤣
here's an interesting one for you...I normally have aldi / lidl pizzas for lunch (when i work from home), and have recently started buying their frozen pizza's as they seem to offer better value for money compared to the refrigerated ones (which i used to buy)... maybe an option to check out? - at least frozen v refrigerated products anyway.. :)
I think I would like that pizza Gareth,I regularly open a can of beans and sausages and cut each of the 8 sausages in 3 and mix them through the beans then make myself 4 slice of toast and top them of with the beans and sausages, next best thing to that pizza, another good one big pal

i buy the cheap asda ones...i dont see the difference

That’s actually really bizarre🤣
"Glorified beans on toast"that was a beauty Gareth matey, yet another honest and in your face review, keep safe and well as always.
Brilliant way to brighten a depressive mood, always got a smile on his face 👍🏻

I do it all the time. It's my favourite. I call it posh beans on toast lol
Absolutely! And there are cheaper & tastier alternatives to Heinz beans.🙂

Gaz just realised pizza is basically just cheese on toast. 😂
License to print money basically bread & cheap fillings.
They first did the Heinz beans pizzas a long, long time ago. 90s possibly. Remember liking them as a kid. Been thinking of getting one for nostalgia.
Heinz made this back in the 90's. Used to be less than a pound from Morrisons. Then they stopped making them. They weren't nice but you could get used to them. Takes me back...
Remember them also, snack tea for my children with chips, filled a hole before they got fussy ,lol. We're more into meat feast these days.

I remember trying this over 25 years ago. A strange combination but from what I remember, it was OK. That was the only time I had this pizza
Indeed you probably do, Heinz introduced them in the 80's, at the time I used to love them
Puts the pineapple on pizza argument into perspective.
I love pineapple on pizza
Another perfectly cooked pizza mate, looks very nice as well
Thank you 😋
"sausage coins" = "we're ripping you off"!!! 😂😂😂

Packed in Italy wonder what the Italians thought of it😂😂😂😂
I dread to think to be honest
probably happy to be shipping them out the country
Not bellissimo, that's for sure!
Heinz these days are just a complete rip of for anything much cheaper and better own brand stuff out there
No wonder foreigners think our food looks beige lol
£3.50 ??????????
Iceland do a crispy pizza base or a deep pan base for £1 and slice up your own sausage.
6:06 for the 8 slice joke.
He even said he wasn't doing the joke, but did, and I laughed again. It must be the accent along with the bean juice...
I’m guessing these product themed pizzas are a bit of a gimmick but they’re alright as a party snack
Glad you enjoyed it Gaz

How many coins to the pound. LOL
To coin a phrase! Lol

Actually, it is an outdated cooking term for how to prep a "round" food item like carrots, sausages, etc.: sliced into rounds 1/4" thick.
Nice one Thanks for that😀😀@@thaisstone5192
Beautiful Pizzas in Aldi for that price, but I could feel the base as you crunched into it, can't beat a good base, well done again Gareth👍
