Wow, back in 2005 my girlfriend at the time loved these, they were £1 in Iceland back then. The difference is, in 2005 it was absolutely covered in baked beans, now it looks like hunt the bean 🤔
I remember them from late 1990s and early 2000s. They stopped selling after that and never heard of again until now.. I'll be honest, Even back then they were not all that! Probably why they pulled the plug 😂 If you are gonna bring back a relic from the past, Not even a good one, At least make it better 🤔

You could go to Aldi, get a frozen Carlos Mozzarella Thin Crust (£1.79) and a tin of Corale Beans (37p) or even go for their just essentials (even cheaper), make your own, and still have loads of beans left over to put on toast in the morning 😂😂😂😂. As always, brilliant, honest vlog 👍
Given the price of Heinz Baked beans (current reduced by 20p to £1 a tin at Sainsburys!), this should be classed as a luxury product, but not with only four beans a slice😉 I'll stick to beans on toast for those special occasions. 😂Or forget the beans and try some melted Stilton on toast for some real flavour.

That pizza, looks like the one that I buy from my local corner shop, minus the baked bean, for £1.19 add a small tin of Tesco's baked beans, 35p, can you get cheaper than that. We always get our cheese pizzas from our corner shop, then add our own toppings to to it. My son likes bacon and chicken tikka bits on his, and I have mushrooms and bacon, we always add a bit of extra strong vintage matured grated cheddar. Thanks for a great review Gareth 👍

Yes. May as well just have beans on toast by the looks of it. Heinz beans though, and Warburtons bread. When I have pizza I fold each slice in half like a sandwich if thin crust. Thick crust eat like you did. No knive's and forks needed. I don't eat the crusts unless filled. Eggs are in short supply by the way. Resticted to 2 boxes per person, and price raised on the ones available.

I really like your no nonsense approach to these products. I get the feeling that there are lots of people out there quite budget minded at the moment. Personally I have found some food products here quite expensive while here on holiday. Have you ever considered doing cooking videos featuring some of these products? I thnk with your following and tbe way you break down the ingredients you could inspire people to cook meals or recreate some of these things at home. Just simple stuff. Just an idea for a review and a meal example or may be how you could make the products better?

My other half and I had one tonight. Tasted pretty much like it did back in 2003. We could taste the cheese although as with the original it could have done with more cheese. My favourite one from back then though was the Heinz baked bean pizza with sausage (which they haven't brought back... yet at least). Maybe it would have been better if they had made it with their beans and sausages with the sausages sliced down the middle and spread across . Saying that think I'll stick to a nice piece of toast with beans and sausages with cheddar cheese sprinkled on the top grilled to get those nice burnt bits 😋 But l prefer the Branston ones
There was a local pizza shop near me that had a "fenway park" pizza. Had baked beans, sliced hotdogs, onions and a drizzle of bbq sauce. My freinds were horrified at it while i loved it 🥴😅

Check out the 1996 ad on YT where you can clearly see how incredible these used to be. Was childishly excited when I saw these on sale the other day and bought a couple. Was decidedly disappointed when consuming one. The world today pretty much summed up in pizza form. PS - bring back green ketchup.
So many frozen pizzas in general are quite tasteless, can be hard to find a decent one. Wouldn't mind seeing a comparison of like 5 or more different brands
Improve it good and proper - put pepperoni on it! If you buy your own pizza base, you could put all sorts on it - maybe chocolate chips or liquorice allsorts or dolly mixtures or Polo mints!
£3 for a bean pizza (basically beans on toast) is a bit excessive. The cheaper the beans, the better. In my opinion. I tend to buy the Aldi/Lidl everyday value beans and add in spices/seasoning, cheese, spam or hotdogs and plate it up on toast. Certainly cheaper and you can do it to suit your own taste preferences. So I certainly agree with you saying you can make your own better!!

A takeaway near where I used to live did a baked bean pizza, was a margherita pizza with a tin of beans dumped on top. So soggy so had to use a knife and fork, but yeah was just expensive cheesy beans on toast at around a tenner. Shame that one was a disappointment.
God knows what the Italian workers in the factory thought as that came off the production line 😂

@@BaldFoodieGuy Thank you for your response. ☺️👍 And I think that utilising social media and texting on a smartphone both contribute to the decline of actual, healthy social interaction. Why aren't people chatting face to face anymore? Yes, almost everyone in the world are becoming obsessed with their smartphones and tablets. Personally, I'm not really a big fan of online chat. In addition, I'd rather go back to the 1980s when people used payphones with 10 and 20 pence coins and interacted with one another; it was a simple time back then - and those days are long gone, which is a real shame.

Seems like a thing to have once as a bit of a gimmick but afterwards once you've had it, you've had it. Probably not a multiple time purchase.
A takeaway near where I used to live did a baked bean pizza, was a margherita pizza with a tin of beans dumped on top. So soggy so had to use a knife and fork, but yeah was just expensive cheesy beans on toast at around a tenner. Shame that one was a disappointment.
I remember buying these about 15+ years ago before they were discontinued 😂
