It's a total myth that the seeds hold the most heat. The fact is they hold ZERO heat all. The heat is all in the placenta. Johnny Scoville explains this on his channel and I've also heard Ed Curry of the Pucker Butt chili empire say the same. Love the channel mate.
@@BaldFoodieGuy The chili that is in this curry , that full size chili isn't a Carolina Reaper lol but still it was a hot curry , when iceland released it. The product no longer is around.

I can confirm, but it depends on the day for me. I love vindaloos, tindaloos, phaals etc and not just for the heat, but the interplay of flavours too. This bad boy can seem mild if I build my chilli tolerance up, but burn my mouth out if I let it slide and eat proper English food for a while. Buyer beware lol.
Afternoon Gareth another oldie for me to watch and it did make me laugh. Glad you enjoyed the curry know you love a curry. Really enjoyed the vlog thank you
Looks like I'll be in for a right ride with this one, just got mine today. Preparing my self after watching a few reviews and you haven't left me with much hope.
I tried one of these a while back. I love my spicy food but this very nearly overwhelmed me. After a few mouthfuls the heat definitely took over. I finished it but it took me a good 20 or 30 minutes and copious amounts of milk to get through it. 😆 My stomach wasn't too impressed though. 😬
You're a braver man than I !!! We tried it and it was almost brutal . We had to sort of tone it down by diluting it with other sauces . Even then had to drink loads of water to get through it . My backside was on fire the next day . Well done bald foodie guy for finishing it .
Dilute with milk or yoghurt for better results. Finely chopped spices tend to stick to the tongue and water doesn't wash it away. Dairy products sort of "gloop" over the affected surface and carry the spices with them.
Great Video. Curry looks amazing! Quick FYI, it's a bit of a myth that seeds are the hottest part of a chilli, it's actually the placenta, just up from the stem. Enjoyed the vid - liked & subscribed 👍

I saw you were considering eating this again 😜. With me, the stomach cramps started almost immediately, and I was actually having minor convulsions. It doesn't get better quickly either. So I bought another couple, and the 2nd time wasn't as bad. Vindaloos and Phalls tasted like Korma at that point. I didn't have third one for a few months and it was just as bad as the first time. I used to eat those two also, but I have actually gone a bit more mild lately and discovered the flavours that a kahari offers. Currently in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Never come across a Carolina Curry. But this week did have a Tikka masala curry sauce from Aldi. It was pretty good - from Poland but not Birmingham UK.
Had one of these about a year ago. It came with warning labels on the packaging - I thought it was a gimmick, but ohhh no! Really tasty and very hot. I eat all the chicken but could not finish the sauce. \i did try as it was lovely.
Good video. 2 things though, first the hottest part of the chilli being the seeds is actually a fallacy, it is actually the white membrane (placenta) inside the chilli that contains the most capsaicin. The second thing is that the large red chilli isn't actually a Carolina reaper as they are small and misshaped, this is probably something like a Aleppo.
I've never eaten a curry hotter than chicken tikka massla tbh. But I would try 1 of these, but I will need plenty of water I guess. And that rice does look better than Uncle Ben's, how much was the rice??
