- This quick and easy but fiery hot curry is not for the faint hearted. It really is a hot one!!
Follow Al as he guides you through every step and produces a flavoursome dish in as little as 30 minute cooking time. Naga pickle, chillies, extra hot red chilli powder are just some of the ingredients that will take you and this curry to new dizzy heights of heat and delight, all at the same time.

Ingredients (Serves 3/4)
100-150ml vegetable oil
900g chicken, boneless thigh skin removed
1Kg Best quality vine tomatoes (Cut in half)
12 Green chillies
3 Tbsp fresh Garlic/Ginger paste ( NOT FROM JARS) , alternatively use 3 frozen garlic/ginger cubes.
1 tsp salt (To taste)
2 Tsp fresh black pepper. (peppercorns roughly ground)
2 Tsp Coriander Powder
1 Tsp Cumin Powder
4 Tbsp Extra Hot Chilli Powder
1/2 Tsp Garam Masala
3 Tbsp Mr Naga
1 Tbsp Tandoori Masala
2 Tbsp butter ghee
Large handful fresh coriander
Squirt Lemon

I did a couple a phal's back in the late 90's and I'd never do it again. I went up to see me bestie up in Stoke as he was at uni. We went out on the lash and ended up in some iffy curry place. The server said do you want it hot and of course my mate gave it large.
We got back to his gaff and it was nuclear! I had three mouthfuls and had the put the plate away. My mate pretty much did the same. HIs always skint roommate came down and asked if he could have it. We both said go right ahead.
The following day we were on the lash again when I got the grumbles. I had to go into this cold, skanky loo to drop trough. Not the best of weekends.
From that day on I said no more than a vindaloo. I usually order a jalfrezi

I have a similar story about a phaal. I genuinely think it's the oil that gets you more than the heat. They use so much oil to cook out the spices that it acts like a laxative. If it wasn't for that it still would have been bad, but at least it would have some time to digest.

Made this a couple of times now and it’s my go to curry now. Instead of four tablespoons spoons of chilli powder I add 2 and a half, but I add an extra spoonful of mr naga and an extra ten chillies so it’s still got a good kick to it. Love it.

I can appreciate how super spicy that curry is. I put two teaspoons of Mr Naga and two teaspoons of extra hot chilli powder and thats hot enough for me.

I've just recently come across your channel and have been cooking your 30 minute meals they've all turned out great so far keep it up but I haven't tried this one get it may be too hot for me but love the video. just wondering have you got any plans to do a 30 minute fish or vegetarian dish at all
