    Hands down the best tutorial video I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Great video for quick and very useful Vray tips, great production values & very concise...I can't tell you how many videos I have watched in the past that made me want to blow my brains out...(Monotone Voices, Annoying music, no edits).
    Anyone that is thinking about making a vray/sketchup tutorial video should take a page from your book.....Again very well done and please post more!

    • @ArchitectureInspirations
      @ArchitectureInspirations  7 лет назад +1

      +Marco Polo I think some people do use Sketchup as a tool to create assets though I'm not super familiar with the process. Maybe you can look into some Autodesk software, however that'd be a lot more expensive.

    Hey.
    Quick question..How do i get the VFB channels to show up on the drop down in the V-ray (sketchup) frame buffer?

    • @ArchitectureInspirations

      Hi! If you watch the video around 6:16, I showed you how to get more VFB Channels in you rendering. You just have to select (highlight) the ones you want by clicking on each one and remember to press OK. Once that's done, render again and see if it works!

    is it true that 3D max vray render could be way more realistic comparing with sketch up vray?

    • @ArchitectureInspirations
      @ArchitectureInspirations  7 лет назад +1

      +Ry Ry 3ds max vray has always been ahead of Sketchup vray so it has been more realistic in my opinion. But since vray 3.4, Sketchup vray has been stepping up its game. I believe you can get some amazing realism, it really depends on your model, not just the software. 3ds max does have cool landscaping plugins but now Sketchup is catching up. 😉😉

    Hi! How do you import visopt in vray 3.4 for sketchup? Agnes

    • @ArchitectureInspirations
      @ArchitectureInspirations  7 лет назад +1

      Hi Agnes! Vray 3.4 doesn't use visopt anymore but rather vropt so I don't think you can import visopt. You can re-export a visopt setting as vropt and then import it to vray 3.4 but not all the features and settings will carry over to the model. This is because Vray now uses a new algorithm for the settings. I hope that answers your question!

    At what degree do you put your field of view at for perspective? It seems SU defaults at 35 deg. yet I have read 40 deg is optimal and that sometimes goes up to 50 deg. depending on opinions. Whats the best perspective field of degree without introducing too much distortion yet give it pop? Do you recommend two-point perspective for both interior and exterior renderings? Please give degree specifics for both exterior and interior renderings. I found this but whats your opinion? Thanks!

      Unlike what the blog says, I don't think 60 degrees is realistic. Though people think it's necessary to capture everything for interior views but it would just look very distorted. I usually use 30-40 for both interior and exterior, sometimes 45 at most. I would also use two point perspective for both interior and exterior 😊

      @@ArchitectureInspirations Great thanks.. Do you ever use advanced camera settings toolbar and create a camera and use camera properties or just use regular scenes?

      Hm I rarely use the advanced camera tool. I've just it once or twice but it's not really necessary
