Hands down the best tutorial video I have ever had the pleasure of watching. Great video for quick and very useful Vray tips, great production values & very concise...I can't tell you how many videos I have watched in the past that made me want to blow my brains out...(Monotone Voices, Annoying music, no edits). Anyone that is thinking about making a vray/sketchup tutorial video should take a page from your book.....Again very well done and please post more!
loool at the screaming woman on the traintrack. Really high quality and awesome video mate! I've learnt Vray in about a week and this helped me add the finishing touches so thanks!
Omg thanks! This is so useful! Quick, easy to understand and really good in general. I´m totally going to check out the rest of your videos. Sorry for the bad english, greetings from Mexico :D!
This is really helpful, thank you... I downloaded some 3D models from sketchup texture club trying to peep into their render settings like you said in the video, after downloading the zip file and extracting it, the setting folder came in some vrmap settings that i can't seem to be able to open....could you pls help?
I guess one of the useful videos worth watching. ARCHITECTURE INSPIRATIONS can you suggest best rendering plugins aside from v-ray. thank you for positive response!
Useful video and very clear thanks Min. My skp file is too big now and it's too slow (250 mb file) to orbit and pan etc. is there an easy way to break up the file to different sections of the house I'm modeling? I put the entire house I'm modeling into one file and it's therefore too big. Thanks.
thanks. excellent. Can you help me? would you kindly let me know what should be the best computer configuration for v-ray render? like RAM, Graphics Cards etc.
Hi there! I'm using the ASUS ROG STRIX GL502VM-DB71 (i7-6700HQ, 16GB RAM, 1TB HDD, NVIDIA GTX 1060 6GB, 15.6" Full HD, Windows 10) and it's holding up pretty well. Anything better than this would be awesome :D

+Vishal Bodar hi! Vray options and settings are not the only thing you need to create a realistic rendering, you need a good model with good materials and lighting
+Cedric Mwendanga you can try it out or buy it on chaosgroup website! Unless you're asking for a free or cracked version, im not the person for that, sorry 😂
trick no.7 use su material when u can. Now Im using su 2017 ,vary 3.4 ,how can I apply for it? I tried to add reflect layer and turn on DISPLACE but the result is different from the tutorial.
Souzeer This is part of that process actually, after this, I will take it to Photoshop. which I will cover that in the upcoming weeks so stay tuned :). If there's anything specific you want to learn, let me know!
hello, I'm trying to import Visopt file but it doesn't work, neither if I change the extension in vropt...any solutions?? I use v ray 3.40 and sjetchuo 2017, thanks in advance
hai sir. what is the easy way to realistic image in sketchup - vray. All my exterior elevations are comes asa dull image. what will do.please help me sir.
Hello I am working with several university students on making a city builder with such assets and better than the current Cities Skylines in terms of overall graphical aesthetics. Can you give me some ideas on the software used for asset creation. Thankyou.
+Marco Polo I think some people do use Sketchup as a tool to create assets though I'm not super familiar with the process. Maybe you can look into some Autodesk software, however that'd be a lot more expensive.
+Ry Ry 3ds max vray has always been ahead of Sketchup vray so it has been more realistic in my opinion. But since vray 3.4, Sketchup vray has been stepping up its game. I believe you can get some amazing realism, it really depends on your model, not just the software. 3ds max does have cool landscaping plugins but now Sketchup is catching up. 😉😉
Hi Agnes! Vray 3.4 doesn't use visopt anymore but rather vropt so I don't think you can import visopt. You can re-export a visopt setting as vropt and then import it to vray 3.4 but not all the features and settings will carry over to the model. This is because Vray now uses a new algorithm for the settings. I hope that answers your question!
Hello sir , I want to one thing I rendered my image @ 1280 x 720 pixels but after that the image doesn't comes crystal clear when I zooms it ,. Its pixel becomes distorted pls suggest me what's the issue . I use v ray 3.4 n sketch up 2015 n I didn't use GPU during rendering so does it affects in pixels ??
Architecture Inspirations sketch up I managed to do it as a trial do you think v ray is better to use with ? Some materials in sketch up don't translate so good so just use materials in v ray ? Thanku
+samantha townsend yes vray is definitely better to use. Vray 3.4 has really good basic materials. You can create your own materials using maps you find online too
At what degree do you put your field of view at for perspective? It seems SU defaults at 35 deg. yet I have read 40 deg is optimal and that sometimes goes up to 50 deg. depending on opinions. Whats the best perspective field of degree without introducing too much distortion yet give it pop? Do you recommend two-point perspective for both interior and exterior renderings? Please give degree specifics for both exterior and interior renderings. I found this but whats your opinion? Thanks! blog.sketchup.com/sketchupdate/setting-your-field-view forums.sketchup.com/t/confused-about-field-of-view-camera-settings/15595
Unlike what the blog says, I don't think 60 degrees is realistic. Though people think it's necessary to capture everything for interior views but it would just look very distorted. I usually use 30-40 for both interior and exterior, sometimes 45 at most. I would also use two point perspective for both interior and exterior 😊
@@ArchitectureInspirations Great thanks.. Do you ever use advanced camera settings toolbar and create a camera and use camera properties or just use regular scenes?
