    Hope they never get rid of this ride, it was and is still a favorite and I think nostalgic, and a good intro coaster for kids to test their bravery & tolerance up to the bigger coasters 💛💛💛💛💛 and those rickety corkscrew sections are just so great

    I used to work at SFSL. I've had to stand in that perch at the top of the lift hill for hours. Sometimes the ride leads would just forget about you. You're not supposed to use the phone unless it's an emergency and you can't just leave either. It's one of those things that I look back on now and laugh, but at the time was just awful!!

      @@LarryDarkMite2 Yeah, old school Arrow operations manual. So, the park still operates it that way to this day. Arrow did that with their log flumes but not many of their mine trains have them. I'd assume because this was one of the first. I doubt it even have has up-stop wheels but probably has up-stop pads, haha. It's funny how we look back on things fondly or nostalgic when they were meh at best at the time.

    When I first rode this when I was a kid, those lights in the tunnel weren't there so I had NO idea my stomach was about to be beside my brain.

At night I did this ride I was so terrified I got out of my comfort zone to try it my mom was holding on to me so I didn’t fall and I was literally screaming on the top of my lungs when we went in the dark part after I got off the rides my legs felt like gelato (I was with my two moms)

    lol that was my first rollercoaster and my cousin said in a couple minutes the track would connect to the ninjas track and I was like six at the time and I about had a panic attack-

    This was my very first roller coaster! To this day, I'm still caught off-guard by the dip in the tunnel and the extremely loud lift hill out of it.

    I love the mine train I. Saint Louis My home town this ride is the least scariest ride and is fun!!! Totally recommend

    This coaster is a great warmup when you first get there....then after youve gotten warmed up, hop right onto The Ninja.

      Same the kids wanted to stay on and it wasn't busy so we rode in over and over..My favorite is the boss and American Thunder though.
