Mr. Freeze might be my #1 bucket list coaster; it might not be as crazy or beloved as many others, but that inverted top hat going backwards looks like it would be my favorite element ever
Did the one in Texas. That's the craziest moment of the whole ride
Ride the Over Texas one all the time. Love it
It's very intense.
Oh Mr. Freeze is one of the greatest coasters of all time. It seriously sucks Six Flags did not clone that to every park.
It’s very intense. The same feeling you get sqeezing between cars on the highway. That “WOAH HOLY SHIT” feeling
God I am addicted to these videos and haven't been to like any of these parks
Makes me want to go to all the parks
relatable
Ditto. Been to the major ones in CA and Edmonton Mall. The 3 crappy ones we had in WA state. Less than 10 parks but I hate to travel so these are my uncheckable Bucket Lists.
Glad you like them!
As a person who just visited SFStl last month a few days after Catwoman opened, I think Catwoman Whip is by far the best ride at the park. It has terrible Capacity yes but the cycle is long, the views are great and the falling combining with the flips feels absolutely terrifying. When they load the second side you get a nice few minutes with the view of the park.
It looks like a great addition.
If you can be graced with having an uneven number of people on the ride, it is the craziest ride for sure.
@@frostking79 One ride I rode on it we were balanced unless we all put our legs forward. It seemed we could make us loop or hold us balanced somewhate. It was so fun.
I rode that ride over and over one day when it was 100f and nobody was at the park. Normally the capacity is atrocious so I made the most of it when the line was only about 8-10 people long.
It's cool how the spinning is so different each time depending on who's riding it and how it's balanced. I love being held upside down falling down that 160ish ft circular arc then whipping into a spin on the way up haha. What a cool ride.
This park has an outstanding lineup- of supporting coasters. They desperately need just one stand out ride (mhm rmc boss or custom raptor). Having RMC Boss and Mr Freeze would be a fantastic 1/2 punch. I also want them to flip Freeze trains back around. I’m not a big fan of backwards launches and can you imagine going up the spike looking straight into the sky and then out of nowhere just falling back down
I agree a standout coaster would really help this park.
I wish they could do one train forward and the other backward. They used to launch forward and it was not nearly as good. There's nothing to see in the sky.. you just feel the same weightlessness with less reference to how impressive your relationship with the ground is at the moment.
@@2beJT I think one of each is a good idea. I think the spike is way better backwards, but for me forward launches>>backwards launches
There is talks about getting a single rail raptor.
@@kendallbedford2523 that’s not a standout. It would help, but it’s not a standout. Look at who has them. Great adventure, magic mountain, fiesta texas, CGA, and i guess the one at silver wood is
I’m probably going here for the first time this year, they have a lot of coasters fighting for best in the park so it’s nice to see your opinions on them, also I normally don’t ride flats at parks but this park has a few cool and unique ones that I’ll definitely try to ride
This lineup definitely doesn't have a concensus top ride.
If anyone from Six Flags St. Louis is reading this please get some new rides and water Slides soon, the parks are looking sad as of late.
I'd love to see some more investment.
There seems to be a lot of disparity in experiences on American Thunder. For me, it’s not only the best coaster in the park; it’s actually about three times better than the next closest one.
Interesting! I preferred mr freeze personally but I did enjoy American Thunder. I just thought it was a tad bit underwhelming when comparing it to Other GCIs I’ve been on.
It ran bad for me in 2020 (same for others).
@@CanobieCoaster I rode it ten times on a 2018 visit and it gave phenomenal flojector all the way through. I REALLY didn’t want to stop marathoning it but I had to leave for my lodgings at SDC.
I actual have it third out of the 3 woodies at SFSL, but I do have the 3 woodies as the 2nd, 3rd, & 4th best rides at the park. American Thunder is an average GCI for me.
A ferris wheel that can't possibly have godawful operations leaving you stuck for what feels like forever because it's just on a single slow rotation? I'm sold, I'll definitely ride that if I get there.
It's a refreshingly fast loader.
Nice. I'd ride em all especially the woodies and Mr Freeze. That ride looks fantastic and a little scary. 😍
It is fantastic.
I just visited this park and I loved it. I thought The Boss was intense, and one of the more rougher wooden roller coasters out there, but its it great forces and tons of airtime. The Boss was probably the highlight of the trip for me, I personally put it as the best in the park, as I find Screaming Eagle forceless, and American Thunder was closed. I also thought Ninja wasn't that bad and was a pretty fun ride just as long as you did it once or twice
I love Boss's location and layout. I just wish the end wasn't trimmed.
Same # 1 for me, by a long shot. I love the Mr Freeze coasters, severely underrated. American Thunder and Screamin Eagle have had good days and weak days in my visits. They both rode good on my 2021 visit. I rode the Superman drop tower at both Astroworld and St Louis. It'll always be special to me as the first drop tower for both me and my cousin in Houston. I agree that Ninja is a decent ride. I like it more than I should.
I have been quite vocal in how much I despise the Boss. It's the worst kind of roughness for me, and it's unbearably extreme in that roughness. I've ridden it many times over the years, trying to force myself to like it. It's just not gonna happen. I want to, because I see the potential. I hope they can fix whatever is so horribly wrong with it. The only operating coaster I hate more than Boss is Firebird.
I would love a Boss RMC.
Do you have a Pov of Mr. Freeze? Love your content. Very Helpful and entertaining.
No, Six Flags doesn't allow POVs.
You are absolutely right! Mr. Freeze is one of the best rides ever made! Mr. Six! 🦅
It's my favorite there.
I haven’t been here yet but I’m most looking forward to Mr Freeze and American Thunder at this park. Nice list!
Thanks!
Mr. freeze always seems to be closed when I go. I enjoy riding the mine train and looking for the area's that the 2nd mine train used to take up. I grew up going to this park the most, I also miss the old kids area as it used to have a lot of fun climbing nets, etc. This park could be something special if Six Flags gave it some love.
I've had good luck with this Mr. Freeze.
And it would probably get more attendance if they would care for it as much as they do the other parks.
I had a greeeattt couple rides on Screamin Eagle last year. I placed it above American Thunder and behind Boss.
Nice!
I like how you hope Xcalibur 'lasts for many years to come' and they removed it
That did not age well.
@@CanobieCoaster Honestly, it was closed more than it was open. I knew it was just a matter of time before they got rid of it. I'm thankful I got to ride it a few times.
Superman closing was really devastating. But in reality, it never really ran all of the carriges at once (during my visits) so it probably had similar capacity to Catwoman
I get why it was removed.
Im use to the Mr. Freeze in the forward motion out of the tunnel. It was wicked. Id love to try it going bakwards.
I prefer it backwards.
Boss looks like it would be my favorite at the park. It looks like it takes what I like about Grizzly at Kings Dominion to the next level.
It does.
I’m from St. Louis and have frequented 6 Flags my whole life. I can’t ride too many coasters anymore after having my neck fused, but there are still some I enjoy. I remember riding Mr. Freeze when the cars were facing forward and I thought it was a better experience then. Being at the top of the spike weightless, then falling backwards was insane.
I tried Mr. Freeze forwards at Six Flags Over Texas, but I prefer it backwards.
We now have a new family Jr coaster opening this summer. Rookie Racer. It will be where the go carts use to be. Very exciting.
Glad they're getting a junior coaster.
The park's Batman: The Ride is the only flipped location, as well as the only one with the original black color scheme. Great America, Great Adventure and Over Georgia had the same color scheme as St. Louis.
I like the black paint.
I went to sux flags, Saint louis Missouri, i can't go on the bat man, ninja, or Mr. Freeze bc they all go upside down. I can't go on anyone that goes upside down. Any tips to not be afraid?
also my fav rides is american thunder, hall of justice, rookie racer, and both of the water rides.
I would try Batman first of the loopers. It's intense, but smooth.
@@CanobieCoaster thank you!!
We went for the first time a few weeks ago. We unfortunately had to wait out 4 hours of rain, but once we got going, Mr Freeze was by far our favorite coaster.
Nice!
I went a few days ago and the boss coaster got stuck while the ride was getting close to dropping so they had to send someone to get the people but I guess they couldn't. But everyone got out safely and unharmed when it turned back on.
Glad everyone got off safely.
I experienced this park for my only time in ‘21. Screaming Eagle felt like a better version of its cousin GASM at SFOG. American Thunder was a smooth fast paced ride. Boss was rough as it hauled through its course. The mid-course was needed as it seemed Boss would run off the tracks without it. I don’t know if Boss should be RMC’d or retracked but it is a serious ride with or without the improvements. The 3 clones I have at SFOT gave me nothing new save the mirror image of Mr. Freeze. It’s a solid small park lineup but SFSTL desperately needs a new thrill ride or Boss RMC
We've been praying for RMC Boss for so long. That and an RMC Raptor would be incredible
Screamin' Eagle is far smoother than Great American Scream Machine.
@@CanobieCoaster Yes. Although, Doctor Coaster has a video up saying that parts of GASM have been re-tracked and it runs smoother
2nd half of Boss sucks until the last 10 seconds. It used to be so much better.
That double helix they used to have was intense. Boss RMC would be incredible but I don't think the park draws enough attendance to hope for anything more than maintaining the coasters they have.
The Boss was one of the first generation gci's so yes it's very rough but still a local favorite. It always ran rough until the last part but I still enjoy it.
Curious, why would wooden coasters run better or worse from year to year? Track Maintenance?
That's a big part of it.
The top 5 for me are as follows:
1. Mr Freeze Reverse Blast
2. Screamin Eagle
3. Boss
4. American Thunder
5. Batman
They are all within 30 spots of my rankings but non are in my Top 50. This park has a nice collection of supporting the top coasters with these. It needs a standout #1 coaster. The park has a real nice setting and if it could get that true #1, this would be a solid mid-tier six flags park with the likes of SFNE.
I agree I'd love a true number one here.
What do you think about the inverted top hat on Mr Freeze?
Amazing
Mr Freeze's Reverse Blast is the park's standout ride. It has a clone in Texas, but this is the only one that has you going backwards. The one in Texas used to as well, but they turned the trains around in recent years. You are unlikely to get another experience elsewhere.
The Boss is really good if you can handle the rattling caused by the rough track and fast speeds. It could use a retracting.
That xCalibur ride doesn't exist anymore. I don't know where it could have been, but they are putting in a family coaster by the Boss, so I'm guessing that's where that was.
I know Xcalibur was removed. Colossus is still listed on the website.
@CanobieCoaster yeah, that's what I meant. Giant ferris wheel is still there. Don't know how I got the names mixed up.
Still sad they removed Excalibur...😢
Me too.
There's no clear consensus as to which wood coaster is the best, but for me Screamin' Eagle was running great in 2021, so it's my favorite woodie there.
That was my favorite in 2018.
that ride makes my back hurt
If Ninja had those same vest restraints found on Blue Hawk at Six Flags Over Georgia, do you think it would rank higher on the list or stay where it is right now?
For me, about the same.
I got to go to this park in 2018 and had way more fun than I expected. I did all 9 coasters and a couple other rides. Unfortunately Colossus, Superman, and Xcalibur were all closed, but here’s my rankings:
1. Mr Freeze- 9.5
2. Batman- 9
3. American Thunder- 8.5
4. Screamin Eagle- 8
5. Justice League- 7
6. Fireball- 7
7. Pandemonium- 7
8. Skyscreamer- 6.5
9. River King Mine Train- 5
10. The Boss- 3.5
11. Boomerang- 3
12. Ninja- 2.5
Nice! I think the 3 you missed have had their share of downtime.
Hey, Canobie Coaster! I'm going back here in a few months!
Enjoy!
The Boss and American Thunder are my favorites..Running strong in 2023.
Good to hear!
The park is in a lovely setting. I went there after going to Silver Dollar City. It was also a very clean park. Very well maintained. I did do the water park. It was nice/new but nothing really stand out other than there was sand there. It IS nice that there are 3 woodies there. I'd like to see a hyper or Intamin blitz in there. Or, If they dare, an RMC. You know I also love Tommy G. Robinson American 4-4-0 steam locomotive. Station #1 is weirdly located in the "center" of the park and has a kidney shaped track layout.
I think they should just remove one train station and make it a complete loop ride and allow more walking through that area. The way it is designed now forces this weird oval circle cutting off the back of the park from the front.
I just wish it had a true standout coaster.
@@CanobieCoaster As cheap as Aerie Force One is they should put a clone of it in there. That would do the trick.
I see alot of success in the future of this park i have 3 ideas 1 rmc boss 2 s&s axis replacing the shoot the rapids rides land and 3 tear down ninja and add a raptor
I hope they get another big coaster soon.
@@CanobieCoaster rmc boss i think new owner seems cool
Was the load on the train in 2020 not less than in early years? Less wight is also less speed
Half loaded due to covid.
@@CanobieCoaster That explains it. I rode Screaming Eagle last year with full capacity and it was fast! I had so much fun on it!
I’ve only been on Pandemonium, River King Mine Train, Log Flume, Justice League, Colossus, and Thunder River. One day I will try the Batman ride.
Batman is great.
Need to go get back there. Does it count that I rode the Superman tower ride when it was at Astroworld? Lol Got transported up here. Need to try some of them eventually. Love the coasters, regardless. Love the Boss . Way back when rode it when someone was riding it to try and break the world record for riding a roller coaster for x amount of length of time. Sat right in front of him after he took an allotted break. Batman was finally what broke my fear of roller coasters. (Ninja had me terrified of them when I was 8 that even riding the Mine train after it scarred me for years and was too scared to go on Batman when it hit magic mountain before it came to st louis Now I enjoy them all...for the most part)
I haven't been on Freeze in years and the last time I was on it it was just forward facing. I wish there was some way they could do both Lol Not sure if I'm ready to handle it backwards.
I wish I could have seen the tower at Astroworld. The Dungeon Drop theming looked cool.
What do you think about Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis and Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland?
Hate Flight Deck but like Batman.
And what do you think about Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis and Mind Eraser at Darien Lake? And Thunderhawk at Michigan's Adventure?
I do not like those SLCs
im in Missouri visiting six flags for a week actually. that first day feeling be like.
Enjoy!
Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis and Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland:
What do you think about them in smoothness or roughness?
What do you think about them in how each ride?
And would you like to go and ride them again?
Batman is fun and smooth. Flight Deck is not.
Wait I’m confused I the justice league from universeol Orlando or six flayed ? What 😂😊
Justice League (DC) is at Six Flags. Universal Orlando has Marvel.
Goliath, the Vekoma giant inverted boomerang at Six Flags New England, used a train with four across seating similar to Batman the Ride at Six Flags St. Louis. What do you think?
The new train on New England's Goliath was way rougher.
See in RCDB:
Batman the Ride at Six Flags St. Louis
Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland
I think those two inverted coasters look intense. What do you think?
Batman is far superior since it's smooth.
And what do you think about American Thunder at Six Flags St Louis, Boss at Six Flags St Louis, Wolverine Wildcat at Michigan's Adventure, Mad Mouse at Michigan's Adventure, Wild Mouse at Dorney Park, and Coast Rider at Knott's Berry Farm?
Hate Coast Rider, but I'd go on the others again.
Is freeze a neck bender and ruff like Ninja?
No, Mr. Freeze is smooth.
Mr. Freeze also has lap bars instead of shoulder restraints. It's a fun ride!
I road Freeze today twice. and I luv it.
@@GearHead83 I'm glad you had fun!🙂
why do you have jazz music playing?
No special reason.
2:47: That aged HORRIBLY
It's a bummer it was removed.
Imagine reriding cloned compact inverted coasters, Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis and the Vekoma suspended looping coasters like Mind Eraser at Darien Lake and Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland, so what would you think about Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis and the Vekoma suspended looping coasters?
Much prefer Batman.
You forgot to mention that Ninja opened as the Scream Machine in Vancouver for Expo 86 which is when I rode it. (I didn't like it as much as Coaster at Playland back then and I'm pretty sure I wouldn't change my mind if I rode "Ninja" today, but that's just my "roller coaster truth".)
Also: Screaming Eagle was actually the roller coaster that started the coaster wars opening with a world record breaking drop of 92' in 1976. While there's a chance the 90' record set by Thunderbolt at Kennywood in 1924 was beaten in the late 20s: every coster that beat Thunderbolt had been torn down by the mid 60s and never challenged again until Screaming Eagle. (That officially makes Screamin' Eagle ground 0 for beginning the coaster wars when it opened in 1976, which lasted until Kinda Ka opened 29 years later in 2005 which featured the biggest drop on any roller coaster, a record that still lasts to this day.) Having said that: It's a shame the airtime was weaker the last time you rode it.
True, Ninja was a relocation.
Pretty sad that Superman and Xcalibur are gone. As a young coaster enjoyer, I never got the chance to ride them. Personally, Screamin Eagle is above Batman for me. Screamin Eagle just has that airtime, perfect shakiness and turns, that Batman doesn’t.
It's unfortunate they lost those 2 rides, especially Superman.
@@CanobieCoaster Yep, thanks for replying.
The next time anyone goes to Six Flags St. Louis on the boss sit all the way in back straight deadly🤦🏾♂️😂
I don't find that ride horrifically rough.

I hate the SLCs. I like the Batman clones.
What would you rate Mr. Freeze?
I think I gave it an 8.5 in my review.
Which of the coasters at Six Flags St Louis was the most forceful for you?
And the second most forceful?
Mr. Freeze and Batman
At Six Flags St Louis, what do you think about Ninja and Batman the Ride in forces?
Batman is very forceful. Ninja has some moments.
At Six Flags St Louis, what do you think about Ninja, Boomerang, Boss, Screamin Eagle, and Batman the Ride?
This video covers that.
I hope they keep this Mr Freeze as Reverse Blast since Texas now has their's running forward again
Me too. Or let you pick which side you want by running one forwards and one backwards.
@@CanobieCoaster That would be cool!
Which of the coasters at Six Flags St Louis was the most forceful for you?
Mr. Freeze.
Unpopular opinion - I prefer Skyscreamer rides over any ride on a Windseeker.
That's fair. For me it comes down to the view.
What do you think about:
Batman the Ride at Six Flags St Louis
Flight Deck at Canada's Wonderland
Mind Eraser at Six Flags Darien Lake
Batman the Ride at Six Flags Mexico
Vampire at Walibi Belgium
I don't like the SLCs.
I remember when justice league used to be a scooby doo theme
I saw a POV of that ride. Looked cool.
Yet another Intamin drop tower bites the dust;. It seems the good ones always get the axe.. I remember Pitfall at Kennywood with such fondness for example.
I loved Pitt Fall and its location.
@@CanobieCoaster I loved it too.. seemed so much higher cause of placement, and had a decent drop. We only rode it once, it was a Monday memorial day but was busy even though it was sort of an unpleasant humid day.
Sadly the one at St Louis was closed on my one visit but I really am bummed now after what you said about the drop. When you look at them you don't think that much cause you know you can get a drop tower anywhere.. but Intamin's drops slowly got worse and worse in the actual freefall part.
I went in May early season and not everything was open.
The weaker rides on eagle and AT in 2020 may have been due to half loaded trains resulting in less speed throughout the course.
Quite possible.
Was Ninja the most forceful or the most intense coaster for you at Six Flags St Louis? Which one?
Mr Freeze.
No, Mr. Freeze.
Okay then.
Boomerang was not included in the list
It was not. It is uncomfortable.
Went yesterday…liked and HATED fireball
Oh no!
Excalibur is now gone :(
I know. RIP.
I wish I went there when x caliber was a ride
Their new-for-2024 Joker ride should be even better.
I'm going this weekend. Comment on Ninja yeah, very harsh on pateat people. Im only 5" so my ears line up with the harness and my last time on it, my ears banged against my skull so hard my ear lobes were aching for 2 days after. I dont mind the ride, but being a small individual this ride is more on the bottom list for me
Can you lean forwards to mitigate the issue?
Idk haven't tried. Maybe will this time around
I’m Basically Screwed On The Arrow Dynamic Coasters Since
I’m Short :/
That's a bummer!
Mine train or Highland fling
Didn't ride Highland Fling but probably the mine train.
My favorite ride here is ninja my second is screaming eagle my third justice league and I am 9
Nice! Definitely a hot take having Ninja at 1.
Batman is my fav
It's a good one.
If your tall, Ninja is bearable. If your short like Taylor its literal hell on earth.
I must be in the middle of them height wise, I didn’t think Ninja was smooth but it definitely didn’t beat me up.
too tall is bad too. have to slouch in the seat which is pretty rough with how jerky it is
@@2scared2ridehypers96 How tall are you?

@@gianfeliciano9816 Who's Taylor? Is he from Coaster Studios?
No boomerang 🥲
Not a big fan.
@@CanobieCoaster that's fair but imo boomerang is just a less intense version of freeze
I have a lot of opinions on this place. It's one of my home parks. Overall I think it is by far the worst or second worst six flags park. Not all the rides here were bad though. Superman Tower of Power was seriously one of my favorite drop towers, I'm very mad they removed one of the parks best attractions. Boss is an ok wooden coaster that I personally am not a fan of cause it doesn't do much for me but you would love it if you love long terrain woodies. Through a Batman clone in there and a very weak GCI, and 2 of the worst coasters in the world, it's definitely a verity of good and bad. This park needs a new coaster for sure as there last was a relocated boomerang in 2013, making their last ground up a GCI in 2008 which is ridiculous.
It's a good park just missing an elite ride.
Hi
Hi
personal opinion but i think the boss is a horrible ride. the boss is way to bumpy, i got a back injury that ruined my three day trip. no one with brain, or back problems should ride it, at least have life support on stand by if you do. be aware that it hurts!
I've luckily never had that issue.
Funny enough, I have neck problems and I'm fine on the Boss, but American Thunder gave me whip lash. I guess it depends on the person and what they're able to handle?
there aren't any good rides here anymore. Sixflags doesn't care about this park and they don't put anything good here. Boss has needed help since day one. ninja needs to be removed. screamin egale needs retracked. all the other rides are relocations. come one what is good about this park NOTHING.................and this is my home park....................
3:21 gahh I still miss when this was the Tony Hawk ride
I never rode it during that theme.
