Pushing out on belt, the diaphragm is working. It creates that pressure inside your trunk and creates the stability. The diaphragm is a muscle, if you work it hard and heavy, it's going to grow just like any other muscle. It's inside you though, and no one can see it, so when it grows, space needs to be created for it, so it pushes all the other organs like the intestines out of the way and you get a distended stomach. A huge power belly is a sign of great strength, it's just that the big muscle is inside of you and so you falsely look fat.

Belts make ur gut stronger? thats so wrong its hilarious..u can use more weight..because you have a crutch keeping your core tight, instead of YOU doing it....i could care less how much a guy lifts if he's wearing 1 or more things that allow you to lift more. raw is 10 billion times more impressive cuz thats 100% them
