Long may they rule. No bullshit! Just guitars, flannel shirts , old jeans and white hair. You cant beat it.
Drummer might not be in full agreement with you.
the purest form, i love it a lot
Goddamm. Only Neil and Crazy Horse could get away with just wandering on-stage with little to no fanfare at all and launch into 15 minutes of hypnotic greatness like Cortez the Killer!!!
Tour opener no less
slava black rock
It looks like a homeless encampment onstage, lol, but they sound great. I love watching the old masters still out there rocking.
@@keefriff99😂
It is kinda annoying all the people holding cell phones. Oh well.
Been listening to Neal for 50+ years. Will never tire of anything he does. “Long may you run.” All the best to everyone. Be kind. Always.
this is end my hero is nono not in curved no this music
ME too! His music still blows me away!!! ❤❤
Attention number one fan chrisweidner...The old, pissed off and angry duchebag, spells his name "Neil".
can't be kind when your grammar sucks. this is the new age. i know you know
@@beanzburriton4263 I watched Young tell a story about when he was a teenager in Ontario, he was a rich brat, his dad was on Hockey Night in Canada. He laughingly told how he would catch frogs and shove lady finger firecrackers up their asses and blow them up, blow their legs off, torture them to death. Even 60 years later, he still thought that blowing up little frogs was hilarious. He is a psychopath.
Bucket list. Seeing Cortez live, you all are lucky!!!
If I could pick one single song to hear live before I die...
finaly the lost last verse :
“I floated on the water,
I ate that ocean wave
Two weeks after the slaughter
I was living in a cave
They came too late to get me
But there’s no one here to set me free
From this rocky grave To that snowed-out ocean wave.”
thanks for sharing Neil
second line: "I died a thousand ways" ? I really hear "thousand" in there somewhere (I know it's "I ate that ocean wave" in the book but that's not what I hear?)
@@stan1036 i got the lyrics from rollingstone mag
Long may you run, Crazy Horse!!
Neil Young and Crazy Horse was the greatest rock band in history. That’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
Was and is ….
Live rust best video of a concert . …When I get big, I,m going to get me a big guitar….😂😊
I can go with that.
Men with guitars. Zero eye shadow.
It’s rock at its core, I always come back to Rust Never Sleeps.
Don't be sad that the good old days are gone... Be glad that you got to live in them..
Brilliantly said.
💯🙏🏼
AMEN- All Brothers and Sisters!
Here We Are In The Years
Awesomely said my brother. I always say that too the good old days are gone and never coming back but we get them live sometimes
Wow, what an opener, and to have that lost segment of lyric reinserted after 48 years, momentous, history in the making : “I floated on the water/I ate that ocean wave/Two weeks after the slaughter/I was living in a cave/They came too late to get me/But there’s no one here to set me free/From this rocky grave/To that snowed-out ocean wave.”
How amazing is that? Thank you Neil, thank you Crazy Horse.
Right up there with I was lying in a burned-out basement with the full Moon in my eye - I was hoping for a replacement, when the sun burst through the sky.
That's what they call a "nugget"..
Pure Gold!
I first saw Neil Young and Crazy Horse in early 1970s at Winterland! And still remember that show vividly. So great that they will be at Ohana this year.
Thank you! Awesome show, yeah 50 plus years of pure genius. Neil Young...
Absolutely epic!! Neil Young & Crazy Horse forever!!!!!
Fan for 55 years! Still brilliant!
Glad to see Neil Young and Crazy Horse rockin in the free world again!
Free World?😢
Solid Rock & Roll …
The man has delivered it his entire life ..
Thank you, Neil and Crazyhorse
Wow! These guys. Neil 78, the others 80 and Willie Nelsons son Micah 33. Just got of their huge tractors at the farm, took their guitars and walked on stage and did 15 minutes of Cortez the Killer as an intro! You can´r do anything but love them.
Thanks so much for posting!
Great post....and I'll add that at 78, Neil chooses a guitar that weigh 8-10 pounds with that Bigsby tremelo on the Les Paul. It's like twice the weight of a normal guitar, and that bass guitar ain't light either! Kudos on the tones and the performance!! :)
These guys don’t have to read a script like that useless idiot on cnn
It’s called a gimmick & it used by rock bands!
@@uncleremus5046What is a gimmick? Heavy guitars? I can’t think of a stupider gimmick than something that the audience has no awareness of outside of guitar players.
Yes, indeed, my friends.
Thanks Neil for Great Music of our Generation It means so much to all your fans and for Touring again Long Live Rock
Simply beautiful seeing those guys on stage together.
I was there for night number two with my 76 year old dad who’s a disabled veteran, he served in the USMC over in south Vietnam.
Neil Young is his all time favorite artist, these songs meant something to my dad, he lived the war propaganda and the anti war stuff after he got out. So cool to see the concert through my dad’s eyes tonight! Thanks for going dad!
Much appreciated for his service! My dad passed about 8 years ago and was part of crazy horse when they were Danny and the memories... I feel fortunate to have such a great perspective these guys have given, and able to give because of those who protect our freedom! 🙏
Rock On.
OMG, old men in flannel shirts showing the world how it is done.....amazing.....thank you for posting this.
No sh*t there!!!!!
some old guys rocking the world....what a performance
Fuckin A man thanks for sharing, made me cry. Neil is the real deal and always has been.
You are welcome
I saw Neil solo way back when. Blew me away. One man and an acoustic guitar.
😂 he's a corporate Vax Pfizer pushing communist shill...What are you boomers talking about?
Neil has always been the man.
@@mhagar21 😂💉💉💉💉💉😁😁💉😁😁💉💉💉💉💉💉💉💉
One of the greatest musicians ever from Canada. He & Gordon Lightfoot were good friends. Both of them are way up there on my list of favorites artists.
And of course……Rush and Triumph.
and shout out to Paul Schaefer
Love that he recently purchased some property near his old hometown of Omemee...not far from my cottage...back to your "roots"...long may you run!😊
He realy dropped the missing lines
Its like you hear this song for the first time in your life again
A Moment more than any gift humanity can give today
Thx Neil ❤️
Niel plays from the heart this music has so much soul !
Long May You Run Neil!
I've seen you many times with The Horse. Thank you for filling my 60 year old mind and guitars with your music.

Oui et je suis heureuse de pouvoir encore le voir sur scène par l’intermédiaire
de ces extraits de concerts sur RUclips.
Il est et restera mon chanteur et compositeur préféré
This is great last time I seen Neil Young was at the Oakdale theater Wallingford Connecticut 1996 that was a great show. Thanks for sharing this awesome experience
I love Neil Young’s music!! I ve been listening for 50 plus years and yes I love the simplicity of their clothing and all they need is their guitars, drums his iconic voice. I wish I could meet Neil and talk to him and tell him that his music has been healing and soothes my soul.
Thanks Todd for all your videos! Rock 'n' Roll can never die! This guys rocks.
No glitz. No prancing around. Just take them as they are. Aging rockers, reliving their best songs from the 1970s. Neil at 78 going 79.
One of the world’s greatest guitar masterpieces of all time!
These guys know how to jam PERIOD!!! Been a fan since '75 Long Live Neil and Crazy Horse!!
The emotion dripping from Neils Old Black on this version of Cortez is immense,God Bless You Man,❤🇬🇧🐎
I was unapologetically weeping during this song at the Huntsville show, my face hidden behind my camera.
Damn ... tears, and joy... No one is doing this at his age, with such grace...
legends at work
I get to see Neil for the fourteenth time in Calgary - Mid-July. It can’t get better.
the saddest greatest rock song of all time thanks to you Todd for posting most appreciated
As mesmerizing as it first was upon hearing Live Rust Never Sleeps
Thank you so much for recording such good audio. You captured some history!! 🤘
We were there last night! Awesome that he opened with this. Great show.
I wish I could be as awesome as Neil Young. I wish everything was as awesome as Neil Young
Epic!!, Only thing, should of had a big screen for the fans way back.
Neil. When I was 18 you played in Omaha with your first set being a piano solo. Pretty good. Then you came back with the Shocking Pinks. I was mortified. I really wanted and thought you would come back Crazy Horse. I have forgiven you but you are at your best with Crazy Horse. Love ya. Keep on
rocking in the free world.
The Shocking Pinks were him saying F.U. to the record label and the Trans thing was too.
My all time favorite Neil song!!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just saw him last weekend at the New Orleans Jazzfest. What a great show. Neil is definitely in a fan-pleasing mode on this tour, good mix of well known and deep cuts, but all rockin. Cortez The Killer, what a show opener.
Sounds EXCELLENT!!! Keep On Rockin' boys!!
Wow! The best! Thank you Mr. Cameraman! And Neil and gang!
Nah. Fuck the cameraman. Blocking the view And might as well be shining a flashlight in the eyes of people behind him.
Such a POWERFUL Tune ….. Mesmerizing as only CrazyHorse can play it
Wow….what an opener ~
For sure!
If ya know ya know, just beautiful!
He is still the best!
My mind is destroyed right now, wow
This is fucking sick
Just fantastic!
Rock on Neil Young & Crazy Horse.
Ascolto Neil dagli anni '70 e ancora mi emoziono ascoltandolo in vari momenti della giornata.
E' impareggiabile e mitico
Rock on boys thanks.
Absolutely insane. Love it. Thank you Todd.
So excited to see them soon
saw Neil with Crazy Horse in 1991 at the Towewr Theatr in Upper Darby PA, next to Philly, they fuckin rocked that joint!!

So psyched!!!!!!! Sounds fantastic.
Yeah it didn't seem possible to get this far in age!! But thank you Jesus for the ability!!!
Cortez the killer the ultimate Neil Young's song ever
Absolutley. I LOVE TO BUSK IT..
I saw him back in the 1980's at the Continental Club in Austin, TX. I still get goose bumps when I remember that show. A small venue with hard core fans. What more can you ask!
Saw him solo a few years ago. Epic.
Wow . Another favorite . You have it going on Mr Neil 😂.. You are fantastic . I love you. 💋
Fills my heart with joy !
Woooo Thanks Todd I’ve never heard this version before pure class , a real Ruby in the dust
Simply phenomenal.
Close your eyes and enjoy the ride - forget about everything else.
I saw them twice live . The rusted out garage tour in 1986 was in top 3 concerts that I’ve ever seen and I’ve been to over a 100 concerts.
I saw the Garage tour in '86 too! It was somewhere in Virginia, too many years ago to remember exactly where. Went with friends and then drove to Assateague Island for the rest of the weekend to camp in our tents. Amazing weekend.
got to record 2 songs and music videos with him in about '92..........(down at his ranch/studio).....I'll never forget that experience......................
I frigging love this!
His first record release was 56 years ago. Plus it takes years to get that point, Respect!!.
Legend
crazy horse rocks
Beautifull
Amazing. Thank you so much for posting this video.
Been Jamming along for Decades✌🏼🎸
Beautiful
Did any of us think we would get old????
Who got old? Not me!
Rust never sleeps 🤟🏼
'24 and there's so much more
Ty for this pure magic
This was my go to song on the live double album. At the time in my teens, it was my best song of theirs. Sometimes you would see someone at a concert in tears for a song that was not known on the radio. I knew because of this song. That's what this song meant to me. With tears in my eyes, thank you Neil.
Amazing video! They all play so evocatively-with so much emotion
The only thing missing is the Jimi pin on the guitar strap. A force of nature. Thanks
Incredible. Brought back memories from 45 years ago. What a great opening treat!!
Many bands doing copies of this song, that tells you something, its that good !! "Hate was just a legend....and war was never known",....Cortez....what a killer !!
Kareeta (from Orange County) does this epic song. I love it when they do!
Get it Neal!
Simply outstanding end of.
Excellent quality!
Fabulous. Who starts their set with a 15min song with a six minute intro? Neil's voice and guitar sound as good as they ever did.
Awesome
I gotta Fender amp around here somewhere 😂 great memories of endless jamming by ear.
Heard sugar mountain at age 13 and have never looked back. Song blew my young mind. This is spectacular!
Thank you Neil for the anthem of our lives.
Rock and Roll is here to stay and Thank God for Neil Young and his Band of Brothers. This is living proof
He keeps getting better with age -thank you for sharing
