People talk so much shit about Disco music but it really is just fun music that makes you want to move! You need to watch Saturday Night Fever!!
Trashing disco is so over...😀
And you better believe the main ones doing the trashing had some disco music in their record stash just pretending to not like it to fit it in with some stupid trend.
I'll keep on dancing to disco music until my last breath - and beyond...💃
What I been trying to tell people since 1980
I agree with you, Disco music transmitted love, fun and happyness💞💞
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees. Can't help but to love their music.
Damn straight
Oh I love the Bee Gees!!! Love their outfits the hair it just all works for the 70's. We have forgot how to have fun.
Watching John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever" is ESSENTIAL for this song..... WORD
Absolutely!
You got that right, my friend!💕
I was a "dancing fool" during the era of disco with Farrah hair, wrap dress, mood ring - it was a fabulous time to be alive! Music blasting, disco ball turning, strobe lights - Bee Gees were THE biggest group of the late 1970's. Their songs played everywhere you went. "Night Fever" "Stayin Alive" "Winds of Change" - Listen to those if you want to keep moving/grooving! Also: No one I ever saw danced like John Travolta in "Saturday Night Fever"...!
Oh yeah me too. Don't forget the high stilettos and the thin scarf around our necks. Cheers from Australia!
Thank fuck for that!
Love you description!!! I was 9 but remember my Mom wearing those things. Awesome!!!
He doesnt notice its John Travolta Dancing lol
All the reactors never Notice its John T lol
John Travolta is the dancer here in Saturday Night Fever
The youngest blonde one was their baby brother Andy, talented in his own right, who died at the age of 30. To much coke and heart failure. Barry, the oldest with the beard, is the only one alive today.
Is it just me but does Andy look like a clean shaven Barry?
Yes He duz!
@@kimtalley4496 i thought the same! When u see barry in 67' he looks like his brother here
I was grow up with their song,ABba, Boney M this are some more group singer too like hot chocolate, chic earth wind & fire.i usually do the staying alive song to dance the sow train.back than.
You are so right. I went through the Disco era. We would all hit the clubs, all walks of life, all different kinds of people, jammin together, dancing together and just having a really good time!
Yes, those were them days!💕 Everyone having a great time, not getting "offended" - just enjoying each other and crowding the dance floor!💃
You can't go wrong with the Bee Gees. You just can't.
Love the BGs always. So happy you like it too!
AMEN to THAT!💕💃
@@mmt123mimi3 Is no better Male vocalists than the Brothers Gibb.
“Jive talkin” and “boogie child” are insane!!!!
Ok now you've got to watch the movie Saturday Night Fever!!! John Travolta killed it with his dance moves🕺
This song is from their album "Children of the World" from 1976, but was featured in the movie "Saturday Night Fever" in 1977. This video looks like it's from their 1979 "Spirits Having Flown" tour because that's when my 16-year-old self saw them at Dodger Stadium and that's exactly what they wore and the stage looked like and yes, Andy joined them that night. I still have the T-shirt I bought in the parking lot after the show. I had a huge crush on Barry, and my younger sister loved Andy. I actually had their song "Wedding Day" played at my reception in 2001. I remember crying at my desk at work when I heard that Maurice died (and my boss making fun of me for that) because it was so sudden and unexpected. It was sad to lose Robin too, but he had been sick for a while so it wasn't as much of a shock. Watching a new generation discover their music makes me so happy. :-) Forever a fan.
Man John Travolta man. The man can move. Bgs absolutely awesome 🔥🔥🔥🔥
John Travolta danced in every movie he ever made. Bee Gees LOVE
That's Andy Gibb with them R.I.P Andy, Robin and Maurice Gibb..
This was the soundtrack to the disco movie "Saturday Night Live" with John Travolta. Travolta did his own dancing in the flick. Both the movie and soundtrack were huuuge hits back in the day.
This sounds like an incredible flick! Do they tell jokes while they dance? That would be unbelievable.
J
Saturday Night Fever, not Live
Chicks love Barry. That dude was killing it back in the day.
Barry was the alpha-male!😍
I love Robin....
Barry has an album of duets coming out this month.
My sister was blessed to see these guys in live concert and she says it was like getting blown to bits with dynamite and a huge smile on your face !
😂😂😂😂😂right!!!
People took their disco and dancing serious back then. Ya had to have talent to pull off the moves. There's no talent in twerking.
I still remember when the disco genre "died". Some of us kept it alive, even when the music changed. Twerking requires talent - different kind, though (plastic a*s).
this guy needs to shut up for a minute and just watch and listen.
@@doolie165 Agree. I don't bother with the 'reactions' that take a 2.5 - 3 min song and turn it into 12 min. If you haven't already .. check out #Wilburn and #RomeLife reactions. Wilburn does not comment until the end and Rome pretty much waits till the song ends also.
@@danksquid3265 That's the problem, these guys weren't doing DISCO but R&B, they had songs played in a Disco movie! the cry baby rock heads were idiots back in the day & the Bee Gees were labeled disco when they were Blue-Eyed Soul.
@@duke4384 You are Absolutely Correct
Love seeing Andy singing with his brothers. That was rare. Still miss him and his music. Gone too soon.
Stayin Alive, Night Fever are two more like this
If you like that song, you'll defiantly enjoy these Bee Gees songs
Saturday night fever.
Night Fever.
Too much heaven (their best song).
Jive Talking.
Fanny.
😎
NOW YOU KNOW!!! Why we still love them😍🥰🤩
OMG you forgot staying alive BRO!!!!(AND BRO THEIR BEST SONGS ARE you should be dancing and staying alive and how deep is your love brooooooooo..
Love the Bee Gees....they were awesome. I'm 74 yrs old and never get tired listening to their music. I still get up and dance to their songs. ❤❤❤
This is one of the best reactions I've seen! I love watching reactions to the Bee Gees. When everyone hears them it puts a smile on their face. I was around in the 70's and hearing the Bee Gees still gives me chill bumps!
You giving John Travolta a run for his money dancing to this song
"What in the soul train?" This auntie is dying. Love you Swaggy. ❤
The late 70's was the shit. This was always on the radio during the ride to grandma's on the weekend
I was dancing to this in 1979 in NYC Discos! Mirrors, bubbles you name it! What a Fun time!! And Barry still has that beautiful voice today! 🎧😎💃
This song is fire. 70s music is awesome! I'm a 80s baby but I still love 70s-90s. Todays music aint got the same soul.
The way you feel during your reaction is the fun we had in the 70s listening and dancing to the BeeGees. It was a blast!
The best of the Disco era....
I love all Bee Gees songs. 🔥🔥🔥🔥
6:13 There will never, ever be that much polyester gathered in one place.
You should check out Jive Talkin' by them.
That’s all 4 brothers Gibb. Little bro Andy singing with them. 👍
This is where all four brothers performed
John Travolta and the iconic dance scene from the movie Saturday night fever. Swaggy gettin down!
I'm 72...we ALL danced like that...still do, on occasion. Loved them, love that you got such good vibes from this song. You are right, it will never be like this again. Glad to have been a part of it.
As they are saying below - you must watch Saturday Night Fever! You will fully understand the BeeGees greatness after watching it!
Dude! you crack me up! great reaction! mission accomplished! Lol
Man you missed the greatest music and dancing generation of ALL times and THE BEE GEES were the center of the universe for us and they are still the center. Robin, Maurice and Andy, who definitely would have been A Bee Gee if he had not died so soon will live forever in the hearts of their fans and Sir Berry is still the greatest💔💔💔❤️😢😢😢😊
Great movie and the soundtrack is just amazing! ✌❤
He stops it way to many times
Barry Gibb is releasing a new Album January 8,2021. It is called Greenfields: The Gibb Brothers Songbook Vol. 1. It is a Duet Album. He sings Words with Dolly Parton. Jive Talkin’' with Miranda Lambert, 'Butterfly' with Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, and other tracks with Alison Krauss, Olivia Newton-John, Keith Urban, Brandi Carlile, Little Big Town, and Sheryl Crow, among others.
I enjoy watching music reaction videos of RUclipsrs that genuinely love music & are open to giving all music genres a chance like you do.🎉🙌🏼 Keep up the good work! 🎉🎉
Fanny Be Tender with My Love is a great Bee Gees song to react to.
Amazing to see all the 4 brothers on stage here, such a fun song.
Danced to this numerous times once this song came on the dance 🕺 💃 floor was full 🤩 great times love your joy and dance moves ❤️🏴
Yay.... You have a Bee Gees play list!
You must add MORE THAN A WOMAN to it!!
Yesss!! I love the Bee Gees soooo much!!!! I'm only 30 but I've been listening to them since I was little on my mom's 8-track player!!! 😂💯 They're so talented, they've been singing since kids.. Writing and producing their own songs, etc.. Funny you said you're going to put this song on when you need some uplifting, because that's what I do!! Lol! I just play one of their albums and by the end of it, I probably burned 100's of calories from dancing around the house, happy as can be!! 🤣🤣 If your interested, there's plenty of documentaries on The Bee Gees on RUclips. You got me hype just watching you!! 😁🕺💃🎶🎵
💞 Rest up Maurice, Robin & Andy 💞
Barry just did a song with Dolly Parton
That club was still there in the year 2,000 I grew up in Brooklyn and that movie was made a couple of blocks from my house. Yeah and I had the entire suit with the high shoes as well. I was about 10 years old when that movie came out and I was just in love with the movie and I still am
If anyone can sit still through this song, they should have their pulse checked; make sure they're still alive. This is SUCH an incredible song! LOVE, LOVE, L-O-V-E this!!! And your reaction, Swaggy, was priceless! It was SO GREAT to see such genuinue emotion; such fun and excitment that you had as you were watching this. That was FABULOUS!
Barry has a new album coming out in January
Back in 1985, I took lessons at the Author Murray Dance School in Richmond, VA. I learn how to dance ballroom, including the Hustle. I became a teacher; one thing that the school owner and the teachers told me how back in the 1970s during the disco period is that so many people wanted to take the lesson that people were outside in a long line waiting to take classes. There were many places to dance, like the hotel had dance floors. Etc. There has never been a time since the disco in the 1970s where the Authur Murray dance school was so successful. I have never had a time in my life that I enjoyed myself so much than when I was dancing. But you wait, one day in heaven I will dance again. :-) God Bless, thanks for the video. Memories!
Great reaction !!! I feel the same. I was fortunate to have lived all through the years and have always been amazed to their music.
WHAT IN TH SOUL TRAIN IS THAT!!!!!! OMG YOU GOT ME CRYING!!! I JUST LOVE YOUR REACTION!!!
They wrote all they sang..mega talent💕💌🌺
I was in high school and it was THE best of times! Straight up!
One of the best bass lines and hooks in history
I was fortunate to grow up during the best music era: the 70s thru the 90s. Music nowadays have no soul.
I saw them at Dodger Stadium on July 7, 1979. Andy was there and they performed this song as their encore-for a good 20 minutes! They were so amazing.
The BeeGees are a masterpiece
Classic! Love your enthusiasm . Try More Than a Woman, Night Fever, Love you inside out. You're right, there was nothing that compares to the 70's disco club scene.
That's how you react to this song...nicely done. Miss those days
My first concert ever was the Bee Gees with all four brothers.
LUCKY 🍀
I LOVE THE BEE-GEES,..I LOVED YOUR REACTION! I had so much fun watching it, thank you so much for the great time!😁👍🏻

This is one of my favorite reactions! Love the joy!
I saw them live they were great one of my first live concerts
You can't sit still to this song! I miss those days; they were the best!
It's been a whole lotta' fun hanging out with you today! Your reaction was so fresh and sweet! Fabulous!
I was born in 76 so to see how the world lived before I came into it is awesome.
I was fortunate enough to enjoy the Bee Gees at NYC Discos during the 70's! 💃
I truly wish the younger generation could have experienced disco clubs, concerts. We had so much fun.
BeeGees have amazing greatness; the disco era was soooooooo awesome; different clothes, dancing,; I grew up in that era
I love this one, it's one of the few times you see their younger Brother Andy Gibb who had his own solo career going, signing with them. That is John Travolta dancing. This music was the track for the movie "Saturday Night Fever" If you haven't. Seen the movie I suggest it, it's a great movie. John wass sooo young!! And struts to "Staying Alive" during the opening credits.
I went to clubs like that when I was younger and you're right. Everyone just having funny
Bee Gees were on constantly in my house in the 70’s and early 80’s. Lots of dancing.
I grew up in the 60 and this music was already out. I love the bee gees
The Beegees were such a masterpiece, on hit after another, to experience the disco was amazing
BeeGees Stayin Alive
I loved the way you said "what in the Soul Train". Ive never Heard some1 say that b4.
Yes my baby mo is gone but not forgotten. Love all ways 💞💞💞💞💞💞
Saturday night was disco night. Tight pants shinny shoes gold medallion wide collars and plenty of swagger, best time of my life.
We had a friend that had a son who could move like John Travolta. He is in his late 40’s now. Man that kid could move! I wasn’t a dancer back then. But loved to dance later on in life. I was a rocker back in the day.
@Swaggy those days at the clubs were awesome. Everyone dancing n partying Together! Ethnicities wasn’t a thing. We all partied n danced Together ❤
Wish it was still good times together as we did then💃🏽🕺🏽👯♀️🕺🏽💃🏽
Yeah! What a great band and a great song! Keep it up man! You have a great thing going here!
The funkiest song ever committed to tape...hands down! People rarely mention this, but the percussion is killer. Dude, anyone who missed the disco era missed out on an incredible time. You young folks need to being the disco good times back.
Lucky Enough to experience and appreciate! 💙
Loved your moves Swaggy 😂
I never had the pleasure to seeing them live but when older danced to every song at the discos, from 1979-80. Such fun times for a teenager
All four beegees are gone now. Barry died not long ago. This was the best Era of music and I'm glad I was a young adult during it! We had so much fun. I don't remember racial tension. Everyone dressed alike...it was truly a wonderful time to be alive! We knew it was a very special time!
Barry is alive 🤨
Berry is still staying alive!!❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks, Swaggy -- this is obviously from their "disco era" -- (OMG - looks like baby bro Andy is in this video??) Saturday Night Fever... not my favorite - especially back in the day when I was, as a midwestern teen, transitioning from "hard rock" to "new wave" lol... but this sh*t holds up through the years... whether or not you dig "disco" - it's hard to resist that funky beat, and impossible to resist those amazing voices! lol
Such an AMAZING MOVIE! Period! Bee Gees are everything
This video has it all- great music, great dancing, great reaction AND Barry Gibb’s amazing hair!
Bee gees fucking ripped man, real musicians, fantastic voices, love this song so much man.
Watch the movie - it's a classic tale with dancing and the Bee Gees soundtrack so you can't lose. I think this is their best upbeat song but they have many greats, ladies love the love songs. I love listening to Lonely Days 1970 video (so young) the song is great!!!!! Reminds me of the Beatles harmonies and John Lennon singing in some ways. Jive Talkin is really fun!
