Hi beautiful, If you loved this song, you might like the Bee Gee's "How deep is your love" song. Another song you might like is Tom Jones "I'll never fall in love again" and is old in black and white video. Or Elvis Presley's "In the Ghetto" or "If I can dream". Love your react and channel.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the best falsetto voice ever, & what makes it so incredible, is that in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is very rare! Thank you so much for this, they were brothers, & Barry is the last one, but please review more of their music, you will not be disappointed, & they span over years, & crossed many genres 😍 I also believe, that if there is music in Heaven, it would sound like the Bee Gee's ❤️❤️❤️
@@michaelvanbuskirk8845 Yes, you are absolutely correct, I loved Franky Valli's falsetto also!!! One of my favorites from him is *Sherry Baby*, his falsetto is amazing in that song, along with, Big Girls don't cry & Rag Doll........If anyone reading this thread would like to hear the song I am talking about, here is the link: ruclips.net/video/3pWBnodrR1M/видео.html

Great reaction video! Bee Gees fun fact... what do these 3 massive #1 hit's by the Bee Gees ( Tragedy, Too Much Heaven & Shadow Dancing) all have in common? Not only were they all #1 hits from 1979 but they were all written on the same afternoon! it's crazy when you even think about how talented these 3 brothers were!! The harmonies & Barry's falsetto are second to none! There will never be another group like this again........EVER!
Harmonizing together since Barry, the middle one was 9 and the not identical twins were 6. Love the fact that it is more natural. Many today are screaming instead which is not nice on the ears.
Wow that makes sense my sister sings too and when we harmonize it is lovely as well we used to do duets all the time is one of our favorite things to do. Hi Jamie💕
I’m getting the biggest kick seeing the young crowd finally coming around and finding these old tunes of my favorite group ever the Bee Gees my hats off to the sisters out there that has very good taste yes they had their own sound and they sang with soul enjoy ladies
Your reactions are so delightful! This is a song that many women I have known over the years like and obviously you're no exception. The depth of your response though is what I especially appreciate. You feel the music. Also, it is obvious that you have knowledge and experience in the world of music. This allows your reaction to be of a deeper sort than many other people's. And I suppose that's why I appreciate your reactions. The Bee Gees do sound great in their harmonies. I suspect this is largely because they were brothers that were raised together, spoke and learned to talk and sing together, and as such they share a common and complementary diction between them. I've noticed a number of family groups over the years that share the same sort of tonal and blending quality. Thank you so much for the excellent reaction (which you always give)! Here's to your next one! 🙏🙂❤️
Big brother Barry Gibb and his twin younger brothers Robin (in white) and Maurice in black. They all shared leads in many songs they wrote together- over 1100- through 5 decades. Only Sir Barry Gibb , now; is still alive. With the twins passing tragically too young Maurice (Morris) at 53 in 2003 and Robin at 62 in 2012. RIP.
With Bee Gees, you've got much to discover. They recorded nearly for 5 decades, and Barry, the tall one in the middle, does it still. Next you should check out "For Whom The Bell Tolls", a song like a cathedral, really epic.
What a lot of people don't realize is that Barry suffered from spinal issues and the falsetto was quite painful for him. He was frequently in agonizing pain. Yet it never ever showed. And that's pure showmanship.

Left to right, they are Robin Gibb (in white with hands on hips), Barry Gibb (lead vocals on this song), and Maurice Gibb, the (B)rothers (G)ibb or BGs. That's where the name Bee Gees comes from.
The name also came from Barry Gibb, Barbara Gibb, and Bill Gates. All the BGs in the room. Bill Gates (not the one Americans know) gave them their name. Later they turned it into Bee Gees.
The brothers started performing in 1958. Barry, the older brother and lead singer is the lone surviving brother. The twins both passed away, Maurice in 2003 and Robin in 2012.
Thanks, PenPal! This is a gorgeous rendition, indeed - the falsetto harmonies of these three brothers are pretty much unmatched, in my opinion -- as a singer yourself, I see your appreciation - look forward to more! (BTW, Robin, with his hands on hips - so casual -- he is my favorite - lol)

The Bee Gees’ sound evolved from pop to R&B in what became the disco music era, but it was their falsetto that was their unmistakable trademark… and it came about by accident many years into their career. In the HBO documentary “How Can You Mend a Broken Heart,” surviving Bee Gee, Barry Gibb, takes viewers inside the studio, showing archival footage performing with his brothers Maurice and Robin and honing their signature sound. In 1975, the band took the advice of veteran rocker Eric Clapton and went down to Miami to record their first album since the split at Criteria Studios in 1969. “I thought those guys were really an R&B band that hadn’t really worked that out yet, and I thought, man, this would be so good if they could pick up on what’s going on in America,” Clapton said. Also Read: The Bee Gees' Disco Classic 'Stayin' Alive' Didn't Start Out as a Dance Tune It was in Miami that the Bee Gees began experimenting with new sounds, piggybacking on the influence of R&B and shows like “Soul Train.” While recording “Nights on Broadway,” producer Arif Mardin asked that someone harmonize while screaming in the background, Maurice remembered. That was the first time Barry sang falsetto. “I was thinking, my god, where is this coming from? I can do this. My whole life I never knew I could do this,” Barry joked. “Everybody’s giving me credit,” Mardin said in the film. “No, he was singing it. I said, ‘Keep on doing it.'” The band soon embraced disco and dance music, making use of Barry’s falsetto, which he wields with almost astonishing ease. “We found another sound; we found a new sound. I came up with a lot of new ideas to suit the falsetto,” Barry remembered. “Everybody was saying the same thing: ‘Do that falsetto again, do that falsetto again.’ It was fine for me; I was having a ball.”
What a joy it is to see and feel your heart open up like a flower. This is the perfect love song with a tinge of grief, for we are all starved of love and heaven.

I love your reactions as a singer... And just now I found out you did a reaction to too much heaven... I've never clicked faster. I'm only halfway through and you do not disappoint let me tell you ! Much Love Stay Blessed 💞
The Bee Gee’s (brothers Barry, Robin & Maurice Gibb) wrote & released Too Much Heaven in 1978. It was already topping charts world wide when they performed it Jan. 1979, for The United Nations Children's Fund fundraiser, “Music for UNICEF.” They then donated all royalties & the publishing rights to UNICEF, the 1st band to make such a donation to charity. The last official tally I saw was 2011, saying UNICEF had received more than 10 million British pounds from it, for emergency food & healthcare. Elsewhere someone said it hit 20 million as of 2019 (but I haven’t found an official source for that).
LOL I LOVED seeing Barry work his magic on you!!! Voice of an angel, and very fine looking man to boot! I always said that if sunlight dancing on a lake made a sound, it would sound just like this song. One of my faves by the Brothers Gibb.

The problem with Bee gees is they did the falsetto so well, nobody in the history ever since tried to emulate it because it would be a disrespect.

You just got the Barry Gibb experience ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ Bee Gees were a wonderful band , harmonies are stunning , they are brothers and have been singing together since they were kids 👍🏻 this is a master class in how to write , arrange and sing a love song ♥️
I wish that you could have seen them live. It is so nice to see people that still love them as I always have. You have great taste in music
I love your reactions as a singer... And just now I found out you did a reaction to too much heaven... I've never clicked faster. I'm only halfway through and you do not disappoint let me tell you ! Much Love Stay Blessed 💞
As real as it gets. Also, you should check out Stayin Alive, also by the Bee Gees.

Hi Mj💕
I love bee gees so much
Awwh I don't blame you, look at what happened today?💕
These guys were INCREDIBLE!! Barry Gibb, in the center had an AMAZING!! Falsetto!! They were all AMAZING!! Really.
They have so many great songs - love the Bee Gees! (Brothers Gibb)
Yes it's real and what we have with the Bee gees it's called TALENT.
Wow what a heart 💛 💕
One thing I have not seen mentioned is they wrote almost everything they recorded plus hits for other artists.
That’s awesome
LOL I LOVED seeing Barry work his magic on you!!! Voice of an angel, and very fine looking man to boot! I always said that if sunlight dancing on a lake made a sound, it would sound just like this song. One of my faves by the Brothers Gibb.
I remember dancing with the girls to this song in 1978/79 when I was a teenager. Such a lovely song and great memories !
Such a beautiful song

MrsPenPal, they sang to the same microphone for this video, but they laid down numerous tracks recorded in the studio and had them blended to make the vocals sound really lush.

What a beautiful singer and lady.
My favorite BeeGees song. They got serious singing and song-writing chops!
You're the only reaction that acknowledged the live performance!
Their range, harmony and song writing skills are second to none. The Brothers Brilliant never disappoint. Musical geniuses. They simply ooze talent. No auto tune here as it had not even been invented yet. It’s all them. I think this may be the most beautiful song ever written.
