The brothers Gibb are one of the most extraordinary singers in music history! They sang together since the early 60's as children until 2003 when Maurice died and 2014 when Robin died. I think. Barry is the oldest and last one. Andy, the youngest, died in the 80's because of drug addiction. Too bad. He looked like Barry (the ladies absolutely loved Barry) and could sing as good as his brothers. What a shame. The brothers wrote many songs for themselves and other top artists over 3 decades. I was 18 when this album "Spirits Having Flown" came out in 79. The Bee Gees practically owned the 70s. I'm so glad to see young people enjoy their music as much as I do. It's refreshing! Wonderful reaction!
To hear two young people listen, react, acknowledge, enjoy and be shocked when listening to such music, literally makes my heart melt into smithereens. My faith in humanity is restored :) x
I totally agree, it makes me feel good to know the youth of the younger generations. Go back and listen to what we grew up, listening to and for them to appreciate it. Great reaction you two!
It’s great to see over 40 years later this song still has the same impact and joy on young people of today, you both were smiling throughout the whole song … 👏👏👏
I truly believe Barry would love to see these two young people just enjoy his song so much. His whole purpose was demonstrated watching this young couple looking at each other while listening ,Im sure it would put smile on Barry's face.
My favorite group! They Wrote their own songs. Sang them beautifully. Their 3 part harmony is the best. And they wrote hits for other artists too! They are 3 brothers. The oldest is Barry in the middle. The two on the ends are twins Robin and Maurice(Morris). They were singing professionally since they were children and writing their own songs as children too. React to more of their songs please. You will enjoy their contribution to the world with their wonderful music and voices. They all can sing lead. Robin has a beautiful unique voice. But Barry has my heart since I was a teenager ! ♥️
OMG I soooo love to watch these reactions to The Bee Gee's, they're all groovin then Barry comes in, and they look like a deer in the headlights, it's just amazing☮️ & ❤
I might be old, but we had the best music! I've been waiting on today's generation to come up with music that touches your soul like this. So far nothing.
The hairy fluffy guy with the majestic lion hair with the angelic falsetto is Sir Barry Alan Crompton Gibb, know as behind Paul McCartney as most successful songwriter in modern pop history and co Founder of the amazing Bee Gees. 320 million records sold worldwide only Elvis, Michael Jackson and the Beatles are outsold the Bee Gees. Please try the much more epic monster bangers like How Deep Is Your Love, Night Fever and for sure the biggest bomb the ultimative classic Stayin Alive - you will be blown away 🔥💣
Sir Barry is also but a step behind Sir George Martin as a producer. Taken as a whole - Bee Gees and as a solo artist, songs for Bee Gees and for others, producing for Bee Gees and for others, most #1’s in consecutive decades, sex symbol!!, etc - Barry’s record is the most impressive. (Elvis didn’t write, Geo. Martin didn’t write or sing, ...) Since Barry is still working and the Bee Gees are still selling, the record book is still open for Barry’s placement to improve. Gotta admit tho, no matter how you look at it, MJ has them all beat when it comes to dancing, attire, and choreography!!!!
Great reaction....this song proves that the Bee Gees one of the best singing groups of all time...over 200 million records sold worldwide...shut the front door!
I Love the way you reacted That's what it's about love They accomplished what they were meant to do on the Earth Even if you touch one person You did what you were meant to do they got two. What a blessing
Man y'alls reaction when they go into the harmony is amazing. The smiles you both have just fills my heart. And unbiased, amazing reaction. Keep it up you two!!
Other songs you need to check out by them are "How deep is your love' "More than a woman" "Stayin alive" "JIve talkin" "Night fever" 'You should be dancing" "Love you inside out" "A love so right' 'Fanny be tender" 'Nights on broadway"
Closer Than Closer (Maurice - lead singer) - the video with the brown album cover Body Guard (Robin- lead singer) This was DEFINITELY his song. He didn't need his brothers in this song!
You two are the cutest couple. Blessings to you both. And yes, the Bee Gees were fantastic. I loved them. They're also responsible for putting John Travolta on the map! He was great in the movie Saturday Night with the Bees hits like, Staying Alive, and How Great is Your Love. I am a 1970's lady and I still remember those great hits from the Bee Gees!❤
Bee Gees = the BROTHERS’ GIBB. Barry Gibb is the oldest, and in the middle. The two on the side are Robin and Maurice Gibb, and they are the twins. The Bee Gees are in the Guinness Book of World Records as songwriters, as in most ever written. Literally have 50 years long catalog, and hall of fame musicians fill the list of performers that sang Bee Gees originals, written for them. Probably most talented musicians ever. Barry and Maurice are killer strings guys (acoustic guitar, electric, bass), and all their unique vocals, once blended, became iconic.
Nice to see young people appreciating music of the 80s and you both had me smiling with your smiles stay blessed and hope you both share your lives to the end in harmony and peace. Take care.and all the best to you both.
OMG, love the reaction!! You guys have a LONG road ahead, the BeeGees performed from the 1950’s until 2000’s and have written and performed over 100 top ten hits! Another group you may enjoy if you like amazing vocal range is Steelheart’s “She’s Gone” and “I’ll Never Let You Go!. The lead vocalist Miljenko is just incredible! He was also Mark Wahlberg’s singing voice in the movie “Rockstar”. Thanks for what you do, I have extreme PTS related anxiety and rarely leave my home, watching reactors like yourselves makes it easier to stay connected!
The brothers Gibb, the bee gees have been performing and honing their talents and harmonies, their songwriting since childhood. Barry Gibb the lead in this has written hits for many music royalty such as Barbara Streisand, Dolly Parton, Celine Dion, his brother Andy Gibb, Olivia Newton John Frankie Valli, vet. Besides performing with his late brothers who have since passed away, Maurice and Robin and the kids too of Andy. The Bee Gees are magical brilliance.
The 2 guys that are standing on either side of the lead singer are Twins. The lead singers, their older brother also, Barry Gibb makes his voice that hi, you'll see in some songs. We're hosting normal but mostly healthy in the high pitouched. And when they were entered into the music hall of fame, I think it's called. At that time, Barry was still alive and he sang just like he did when he was younger. It was awesome so you might want to check that video out
You guys are a beautiful couple so glad you liked this very beautiful song I believe it's one of the best songs ever made love those guys and God bless!!
These three men are brothers. They not only sang this song they wrote it and many more. Sheer talent. thanks for listening to the song and then reacting, not talking over it. You both were wonderful

Slow dancing to this at school dances in the 70's is a feeling I'll never get to experience again and it kills me. Awesome to see young people experiencing them today
I love the Bee Gees. They are the best!!! So much talent in these 3 brothers. They have so many great songs which they write. Some are....To love Somebody...How deep is your love....Nights on Broadway.... Staying Alive....Night Fever... How do you Mend a Broken Heart... Lonely Days...which are a drop in the bucket. I have been privileged to have lived in their musical lifetime. You gave a great reaction!!!! I subscribed
They had soooo many great songs and wrote for others too. Bee Gees we’re always playing in my High School lunch room in the 70’s!!!! We had a jute box that really kicked out the tune’s!!!
Love The BeeGees( stands for The Brothers Gibb, Barry the lead voice here and his 2 brothers Robin and Maurice who were twins) Barry who is the oldest and the only one who is alive. Both Robin and Maurice are dead. Can you please react to one of my favorite song by them titled Fannie Be Tender With My Love. They've made many hits such as Stayin'Alive, For Whom The Bells Toll, Words, I've Got To Get A Message To You, More Than A Woman, I Started A Joke, just to name a few of their many hits.👍👍💯👏💓
This was awesome. I was a 12 year old kid hearing this for the first time while slow dancing with Sally H. Believe me, a lot of little dudes got their first kiss while this was playin
Youtreaction at the Very beginning and the Very END MADE ME CRYYY!!! I love this song and am 50 with Stage 4 Cancer, so it’s nice to see youngsters enjoy our era music!
They're brothers, they have written tons of songs, even for other artists....keep looking them up, they're fantastic! I grew up listening to the beegees, you won't be disappointed!
I’ve been listening to The Bee Gees since age 13.. your in for a treat as you react to so many of there HITS!!! Have fun.. they wrote/sang (ALL their songs) produced (a lot of their songs)
Aren't they amazing! It's like listening to angels singing. Love that you're listening to them. Makes your heart warm and happy. They wrote all the music for the movie Saturday Night Fever!
It's like they invented harmony. Live band, no auto tune, no computerized voice enhancement and one mic for all three of them. Back then (1979). singing was just pure, raw talent. By the date of this recording, the BeeGees had already been singing together professionally for 21 years when Barry was 12 years old and the twins were just 9. All of the Gibb brothers including little brother, Andy, could sing in that amazing falsetto voice. But Barry was the master. He was able to exorcise more control over it. The Gibbs were, in my opinion, the most multi-talented families in music history. They wrote their own songs as well as writing songs for many other musical greats. This song was included on a compilation album to benefit UNICEF. There were many artists who recorded songs on the album, but the BeeGees gave all the royalties from this song in any form. In, at that time, an unprecedented move, they also gave UNICEF the publishing rights to Too Much Heaven. To date, Too Much Heaven has raised over 11 million dollars for UNICEF. In 1967, they wrote a song called To Love Somebody which appeared on their third album titled BeeGees 1st, but their first internationally, as the first two albums were only released in Australia. BeeGees 1st was released in July '67. Otis Redding was set to record To Love Somebody on his next album. Sadly, Otis was killed in a plane crash, Dec 10,1967. I thought for the longest time that they didn't record it themselves until after the death of Otis Redding. Their brother Andy Gibb had a very successful solo career as well until his death on March 10,1988. Just 5 days after turning 30. Andy had developed myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, which was brought on by a viral infection While most people recover from myocarditis, Andy's body was unable to fight the infection due to his history of drug use. Soo sad! The 1st time I heard this song, I was 15 years old. I was sitting on the floor in our living room. They sang with so much emotion that I had tears running down my face. It didn't hurt that before this I found out that Barry and I shared the same birthday, me in 1963 and him in 1946. While I was crying, my daddy came in and told me to knock it off or he'd change the channel. He was mean.
Love to see you two young people loving the music I grew up with. Adorable! I raised my daughter on older music and she loves it too. She has turned me on to more modern indie stuff and I love it. Makes me smile. Anything 70s is good in my opinion. Enjoy!
328th.....I Hope Barry Gibb sees these reactions.......to see the JOY his / their Music Brings People today 40+yrs later....and in honor of his brothers who've now passed....and he's the oldest...I hope reactions like yours gives him Solace.... ..this was my HS music.. class of 79
So yes, this song is where babies come from. Also, it's three brothers, and the lead in this song is Barry Gibbs. Another one of their songs is called Staying Alive. They have alot of wonderful songs.
Ahh the baby making song...believe...there were lots of babies born in to the world 9 months after hearing that song for the first time...love the reaction guys...
DAMN! You two got my sub with this reaction. One of the best I've seen. If this song doesn't make you feel like kissing your girl and moving your body......then there's something wrong with you! LOL You used the perfect word SERENADE!
Absolute legends, there will never be anyone to beat them, hit after hit, after hit. Phenomenal, they also wrote songs for Celine Dion, Diana Ross, to name but a few!.. sadly only Barry ( in the middle) is alive.
Best singer/songwriters I think of of 2 decades.. maybe 3.. 60's, 70's and 80's.. Barry.. the oldest is the only one still alive. He's buried his 3 younger brothers. The twins were in this video with him.. The youngest.. Andy... was one of my pre teen crushes and he died first...But that sibling harmony will never happen again..
The brothers Gibb are one of the most extraordinary singers in music history! They sang together since the early 60's as children until 2003 when Maurice died and 2014 when Robin died. I think. Barry is the oldest and last one. Andy, the youngest, died in the 80's because of drug addiction. Too bad. Daz, you took the words right out of my mouth! Just watching their reaction filled my heart!!!
I agree with you.
Well said ❤️
Yes! Yes! Yes! This👆🏼👆🏼👆🏼
No autotune no gimmicks. Just talent. Number one singing group of the disco era. 1970's
Heaven voice 👍🏼👍🏼😀
Barry Gibb is the only man I know who could holda sustained falsetto that high with vibrato like that. It is incredibly difficult to do.
I was just about to make similar comment...
Roy Orbison who Barry adored and called "the voice of God."
Just for you i can do that also
i think you might want to check out Dimash ;)
@@dovic2293 I have but I wasn't really referring to more current artists. I apparently worded that wrong.
Bee Gees is Legend. Their songs will remain eternal across generations.
It’s great to see over 40 years later this song still has the same impact and joy on young people of today, you both were smiling throughout the whole song … 👏👏👏
yes, the sweetest smiles, being carried away be the beauty of the song, the sublime harmonies, yes, a serenade it truly is.
70s 70s 70s 70s 70s So much fun ,,
I truly believe Barry would love to see these two young people just enjoy his song so much. His whole purpose was demonstrated watching this young couple looking at each other while listening ,Im sure it would put smile on Barry's face.
Awwwww, you guys are so purely in love. Your reaction is PRICELESS!
Now THAT was the correct reaction to this song: Turn to your sweetheart and kiss her!
Brilliant reaction by two young lovers
Much love from the UK.
You just experienced the soundtrack responsible for making a good part of the 80s generation!
they had hits back in the 60s but they really hit it big when they hooked up with the disco thing in the 70s
These young people have great taste in music…and the young man clearly has great taste in women :). Well done.

Enjoy!
It's wonderful to see a young beautiful couple enjoy arguably the best music. The appreciation is obvious.
Pure talent, and the orchestra kills it too.
Well, you two couldn’t be any cuter. Welcome to my era of music. Best love song ever.
328th.....I Hope Barry Gibb sees these reactions.......to see the JOY his / their Music Brings People today 40+yrs later....and in honor of his brothers who've now passed....and he's the oldest...I hope reactions like yours gives him Solace.... ..this was my HS music.. class of 79
Oh those harmonies. How wonderful to see young people enjoying us oldies music from the 70's .
So yes, this song is where babies come from. Also, it's three brothers, and the lead in this song is Barry Gibbs. Another one of their songs is called Staying Alive. They have alot of wonderful songs.
Whew! That was one smokin' reaction! Loved it!
Ahh the baby making song...believe...there were lots of babies born in to the world 9 months after hearing that song for the first time...love the reaction guys...
Awww u guys are so cute! ❤️❤️ I'm so glad you can appreciate the beauty of this music. It's a timeless song
Perfect song for you 2. Real music in those day's, 60 and 70s were by far the best!
I love the Bee Gees, no question; however, the two of YOU...OMG!!!!! You two are the most beautiful reaction couple!!!! 💖💖
I appreciate you not interrupting the song and giving your reaction at the end of this video! ❤
