I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!! All three brothers had amazing falsetto's, however, Barry Gibb, in my opinion, has the most unique falsetto, because in his falsetto, he also used his vibrato, which is rare! There is no other group of brothers that can top the BeeGee's, and all the profits from this song went to "UNICEF", the brothers on each end are Paternal Twins, Robin and Maurice and they have both passed away, the middle singer is Barry the oldest brother, I've listened to this song since it first came out and still to this day when I hear it, I get goose bumps and this is the most beautiful ballad I've ever heard.
The Bee Gees are in a league of their own. Their harmonies as you said are heavenly. Their songwriting is iconic. Having written over 1000+ songs for themselves and other top artists they have a tremendous catalogue. Please react to HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE, thank you. ❤
One of my favorite parts of Barry, after doing the falsettos towards the end where he sings love, love, love, (5:27) just think is amazing, it melts me away every time I hear this song!!!
Friend, listening to the Bee Gees is a direct trip to paradise, at that time they were the biggest headache for men, women simply melted for them, this video was recorded live in 1 take without arrangements of any kind only the orchestra and a microphone for the 3, plus the rights were given away in perpetuity for UNICEF, something never done by any singer and it has raised more than 12 million dollars. The record labels wanted to sink them because the song they released was inevitably number 1, the harmonies. What these 3 brothers did was and will be unique, they were capable of harmonizing with any rhythm they made, they were and will forever be geniuses, in addition to all of the above, they wrote songs for other famous singers. Talking about the Bee Gees is talking about talent, simply unique at 43 years old. Since I heard them as a child until today I think they are the best male group that exists.
They never worried about glitter n sparkle..They were just three great brothers that made unbelievable music...All great alone but fire together.....WOW Great guys....
Barry coming in all subtle but cocky. I like that to describe Barry, lol. He knew he was good, MAYBE knew how handsome he was (he likes to be all humble about it), and he knew this song was 🔥, a guaranteed hit. He said once, he knew when a song was good and would do well. And this was just one of those songs.
They ARE really, really, really good! No autotune just pure talent. The middle one is Barry Gibb and the other two are twins, Robin and Maurice Gibb! I had an 8 track tape player in my '65' Mustang and I would ride and listen to these guys all night long!!!!!! Sadly, only Barry is left alive. They wrote so m any wonderful tunes!!!
Barry, Maurice and Robin Gibb. Brothers of harmony. How Deep is your Love, Fanny be tender with my love, Jive Talking, Nights on Broadway, More than a woman, Night Fever, You should be dancing...just a few 70s hits to try. They were big in the late 60s and were still having hits in the 80s, 90s and 00s.
They wrote this song in one afternoon. This live performance, with the Munich Philharmonic, was filmed in one take. The Gibb’s vocal harmonies are unworldly. So glad you found this gem.
Barry Gibb singing lead on this one. The other two are his brothers (twins): Robin (on our left) and Maurice (on our right). Robin also sings a lot of leads; Maurice not as many. Their sibling harmony is legendary.
Love the bee gees brings back memories of when my mom.would play their records all the time when I was growing up..they have such amazing voices Thanks for another great reaction...have a blessed day
The best of the best! Harmony, lyrics, production, performance. There is not one Bee Gees song that is bad. You have over a thousand songs to choose from starting when they were kids in the late 60’s all the way to 2003 when Maurice died. Robin died in 2013 leaving big brother, Barry to carry on alone. Barry sings with his sons and continues to preserve The Bee Gees legacy. He produced and sang on an album (Greenfields Vol 1) of Bee Gees songs with a number of country stars in 2022, at the age of 75! Do yourself a favor and dive down The Bee Gees rabbit hole and enjoy! Fantastic reaction and I’m sure you will stay star struck as you travel through their catalogue of incredible music… Keep in mind that they wrote, sang, produced and sang all their own songs, plus wrote for other artists, produced, and accompanied others. Incredible talent to say the least! Thank you for reacting to this amazing group of brothers. 🥰
For Whom The Bell Tolls...I Started A Joke...Massachusetts...New York Mining Disaster... That's just a few to start with. They're incredible so please keep going. And thank you. ❤❤
The Bee Gees are brothers. Barry Gibb is the oldest. He is the tall one in the center. The other two are fraternal twins, Robin (long hair) and Maurice pronounced Morris. They started harmonizing at ages 6 to 9 years. They had many ballad hits in the late 60s early 70s. They didn't discover their high voices until the late 70s. They are not a disco group, but they did do the best selling soundtrack to the Disco movie Saturday Night Fever staring a young John Travolta. Their soundtrack album was only beat in sales with Whitney Houstons soundtrack to the movie Body Guard staring Whitney and Kevin Costner. My favorite song by the Bee Gees is Fanny Be Tender With my Love. They have a lot of number one hits in the US and UK.
They are brothers. Robin, Barry and Morris. Only Barry is alive today. He can still hit the high notes. And he still performs. Remember this was way before autotune.
Yeah. The Brothers Gibb are special. Harmonies to die for. Songwriting in a class of its own. And we won't talk a bout their looks. 100 top 10 hits through the years. First chart topper 66/67 and Barry's compilation country album topped in UK, Australia and more in 2021. Not a bad run.
Thanks, King! All those Gibb bros could sing any falsetto harmony on any day of the week... lol These kids had been singing together since they were very young children... and truly, there's no better harmony than family... hope you listen & react to some more...
One thing I never see anyone mention is their facial expressions. When the Bee Gees sing, they look happy. They look loving, enamored, whatever word you want to use. It’s nice! Too much of today’s music is little more than rage porn.
Barry is feeling it, lost in the music, looks like he’s in ecstasy at one point. 🔥 Robin looks extra happy and is in his own little world (like usual). And Maurice looks at Barry like a loving brother, and smiles at him, really enjoying Barry’s singing.
The Bee Gees are the best at harmonies. They are brothers Barry is the lead singer in this song. The other brothers are Robin on the left and Maurice on the right these two are twins. They started out very young with the thought of becoming famous. They write their songs, which happens to be in the thousand range. They sing all genres and are great whatever they sing. They have written number one songs for many well known artist. These fellows were born British but were raised in Australia until their teen years and went back to England to be discovered. Thanks for your reaction!
Brothers, with over 1,000 songs written for themselves and many of the top voices of 3 decades, 100 top 10 hits...only Sir Paul McCartney has written more hits than Sir Barry Gibb. They donated the royalties to this song to the children's charity UNICEF, forever...close to $15 million so far. They wrote this song and one of their other hits, 'Tragedy' in one afternoon! 'Alone' is another unearthly high and harmonious hit, and one video of it shows them in studio, meeting people and goofing around when they were young. Also 'Nights On Broadway', (the Midnight Special' live is the best) the first song they used their high voices in, but starts out with Barry coming in with his normal chest voice, and Maurice (right, twin to Robin, left) doing the high fills that Barry did on the studio recording...Rockin', and AMAZING!
Being brothers they were literally born to harmonize together. Try watching any interviews that they did and it will give you a sense as to how close they really are. And they are all funny and constantly making each other laugh. They sing to women, not about women. And to me it makes a huge difference. They are truly gentleman. Can't wait for you to react to more of their songs. New subbie here ❤
5 crowns😊❤ Yes! This song just makes me float! Barry in the middle is so nice to look at. His brothers are Mo on the right and Robin on the left. They donated the royalties of this song to UNICEF raising 7 million dollars for children in need! They had already become successful by the time this was made and hiring an orchestra was not a problem!
So many songs by them I haven't heard all of them, have been scouring the used record/CD store to find lesser known albums by them like "Cucumber Castle" 1970 "Life in a tin can" 1973 "Odessa" 1969 "Mr. Natural" 1974
Check out "Alone" and "Fanny Be Tender With My Love"...Two great ones for sure!! Also, "Closer Than Close" and "You Win Again" are two more great ones. The Bee Gees never wrote a bad song.
I was practically cackling in anticipation when I saw you'd reacted to this song without having previously heard similar BeeGees songs before. I was just waiting for the moment when Barry Gibb comes in with his first "You and me girl..." and I was SO not disappointed...I nearly spit some of my diet coke when I saw the look on your face. Another great, fun reaction (I particularly loved that "subtle but cocky...a perfect balance"-- or words to that effect. I'd never articulated it to myself like that before, but you really captured it. Thanks for another thoughtful, interesting reaction. I bet you'd like Hall and Oates, too..."Rich Girl" and then, if you're up for more, "Sarah Smiles" would be a good place to start. Just a thought/suggestion.
This was Fire before this generation ever thought about using the word Fiya..No Cap lol I’m soooo glad you enjoyed our music… Next time an old timer says, music today is mostly junk and not the great music we grew up with… Maybe now you’ll be able to say… I Get It ❤ Thank You For Your Reaction 😎 👑 👑 👑
I was married one year (1977) before this was released in 1978. This would have been in my wedding too, but with them singing, at the reception. Perfect harmony! Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 68 yrs old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris) Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure. Maurice (Dec 22, 1949 - Jan. 12, 2003.) Passed as a result of a twisted intestine. He was in the hospital for 2 days. Barry said he had a heart attack, but the doctors still operated. Maurice and Robin were fraternal twins. Andy Gibb, the youngest brother, had his own successful career. He was 12 yrs. younger than Barry. He and Barry looked so much alike, that they could had been twins. Andy passed away in 1988, at the age of 30. Lived a lifestyle involving drugs, and he had heart problems. The brothers wrote all of his songs. Barry (middle) stated, "I am the last man standing." He was born September 1, 1946. He has 5 adult children and 7 grandkids. On September 1, 2022, he and his wife Linda celebrated their 52nd wedding anniversary. (They were married on his 24th birthday.) On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who was 78, January 12, 2023. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. They wrote all of their songs, and songs for other singers, which they sang after the songs were released for the other singers. The brothers have a VERY IMPRESSIVE catalogue of songs! I recommend the following songs: Staying Alive ruclips.net/video/fNFzfwLM72c/видео.html How Deep is Your Love ruclips.net/video/XpqqjU7u5Yc/видео.html For Whom the Bells Toll ruclips.net/video/vT_P0ztMQ7o/видео.html Jive Talking ruclips.net/video/oALKAh_bL5g/видео.html Closer Than Close ruclips.net/video/m6XIdjEHLRs/видео.html One ruclips.net/video/KRUeMgzOCCo/видео.html You Win Again ruclips.net/video/KZY9oYSSjFI/видео.html Spirits (Having Flown) ruclips.net/video/ONmVEJnxysc/видео.html Bodyguard ruclips.net/video/Fx5XwIKCs3o/видео.html Emotion (written for Samantha Sang) ruclips.net/video/b_wTZjo9azk/видео.html (Destiny Child's cover has too much drama. But Barry liked it.) Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away) Andy Gibb (12 years younger than Barry. ruclips.net/video/eH686Dyy16w/видео.html At one time 5 of their songs were in the top 10. Another time, four of the songs that were written by them for others were in the top 5. A song that Barry wrote for Andy was #2, but then it went to #1, and the Bee Gees song became #2
Thank you so much for this info about their background and legacy Brenda! I truly appreciate you taking your time to share this and suggest these songs. I’ll add them to the list now! Thanks for your support Brenda!
The Brothers Gibb are one of the most prolific songwriters of all time. Some of the best music in the 60s-90s was written by or sung by these amazing people. This is just one of hundreds they sang.
You would probably be shocked at the amount of hits the Bee Gees wrote that black people thought were black singers....and the amount of hits they wrote for other famouse artists.
@@KingGreatnessKG Barry and Michael were very close friends, MJ was the godfather of Barrys youngest son Michael. They also had a song together (duet) . All in your name.
They are the Gibb brothers. The oldest is Barry (middle), the other two are twins Robyn (left) and Maurice (right). They started performing & writing songs since they were little kids. Their voices blend like one. They are amazing! They donated all proceeds from this song to UNICEF.
Hi 👑 King! New subscriber here! The Bee Gees have soulful voices! You should react to Fanny Be Tender With My Love by The Bee Gees next. The great Quincy Jones has said this is the most perfect R and B songs!! Quincy Jones is a famous record producer, songwriter, composer, arranger, and film and tv producer.
Next BeeGees listen: "How Do You Mend A Broken Heart", and/or "How Deep Is Your Love"......(from the BeeGees; the Brothers, Gibb; Left, Robin Gibb; Middle, Barry Gibb; Right, Maurice Gibb. Maurice and Robin are twins. Barry is the oldest.)
Outfits: 1970s... opened chest, necklaces ... Barry has splotches on his torso because, at the age of 2, he pulled a pot of hot tea from the table, and it fell on him. He has splotches on his arm too. His mom said he was in the hospital for almost 2 months. He did not speak for 2 years. Barry said he doesn't remember..
You said you're only familiar with one other BEE GEES song. I'm guessing it's probably "STAYING ALIVE". Everybody knows that song! But they really have a lot of GREAT songs! NIGHT FEVER HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE JIVE TALKIN LOVE YOU INSIDE AND OUT That's only a few!
Great reaction to Too Much Heaven and the Bee Gees. They were such great singers and writers/producers. By this point they had already been performing together for 20 years. If you haven't heard them: For some other classics 70's pop I would recommend The Carpenters We've Only Just Begun. Video. One of the most iconic female voices of the time, and production way ahead of it's time. For 70's rock, an iconic song from one of greatest albums ever made. I believe still the fourth highest selling ever. Time from Pink Floyd's, Dark Side Of The Moon. One of the best produced songs/albums ever. Studio recording highly rec'd over Live performance in this case. For recent music, have you heard of Dimash Kudaibergen? Arguably the greatest male vocalist alive today, and massively popular. So good in fact, that even his live performances sound like studio mixes. Maybe the English video performance of Across Endless Dimensions might be a good place to start.
I grew up listening to the Bee Gees, & you have no idea how happy it makes me, to see the younger generation discover the music we fell in love with !!!
Good to know! Interesting. Thanks for your support!
@@KingGreatnessKG - 👍🏻👍🏻
Being brothers they were literally born to harmonize together. Try watching any interviews that they did and it will give you a sense as to how close they really are. And they are all funny and constantly making each other laugh. They sing to women, not about women. And to me it makes a huge difference. They are truly gentleman. Can't wait for you to react to more of their songs. New subbie here ❤
Wow I haven’t looked at the “sing to women” comparison in that way Pamela! Interesting.
More reactions to them coming soon!
@@KingGreatnessKG looking forward to more ❤
Then later...baby brother came to show his voice...guess what? He sings too...OMG!!
Wow! Talented family. Thanks for your support Kat!
You said it..PERFECT love the Gibb bros love from London ❤ 🇬🇧
Flawless performance! Thanks for your support and hope London is treating you well Maureen! Love from USA ❤️ 🇺🇸
RUclips has a video of their One Night Only Las Vegas concert that has forty years of their hits. You’ll love it.
Adding it to the list! Thanks for your support Helen!
Yeah I am getting into record collection also. I will look into these thanks for the recommendation and suggestions KC!
This was Fire before this generation ever thought about using the word Fiya..No Cap lol
I’m soooo glad you enjoyed our music…
Next time an old timer says, music today is mostly junk and not the great music we grew up with…
Maybe now you’ll be able to say… I Get It ❤
Thank You For Your Reaction 😎
👑 👑 👑
Great choice, great reaction!
Next ones:"How Deep is Your Love", Love So Right ", Reaching Out", "Someone Belonging to Someone", and the list goes on.
Adding to the list! Thanks for your support Carlos!
I was married one year (1977) before this was released in 1978. This would have been in my wedding too, but with them singing, at the reception. Perfect harmony! Love, love, love the Bee Gees. I am a black female, 68 yrs old, grew up with them. (A bit lengthy, but a must read.) The Bees Gees: (from left to right) Robin, Barry and Maurice (pronounced Morris)
Robin (Dec 22, 1949 - May 20, 2012) passed away as a result of kidney failure.
(They were married on his 24th birthday.)
On a side note, the first born is their sister, Lesley, who was 78, January 12, 2023. Lesley didn't have an interest to be in the limelight, but she can sing. They wrote all of their songs, and songs for other singers, which they sang after the songs were released for the other singers. The brothers have a VERY IMPRESSIVE catalogue of songs! I recommend the following songs:

Emotion (written for Samantha Sang) ruclips.net/video/b_wTZjo9azk/видео.html (Destiny Child's cover has too much drama. But Barry liked it.)
Our Love (Don't Throw It All Away) Andy Gibb (12 years younger than Barry. ruclips.net/video/eH686Dyy16w/видео.html
At one time 5 of their songs were in the top 10.
The Gibb Brothers didn't make a bad song. They wrote all of their own music plus songs for other artists amongst the thousands of songs they wrote.
Good to know! Talented guys! Thanks for your support!
@@KingGreatnessKG And they also wrote 'Heartbreaker' for Dionne Warwick.
I’m obsessed with the fact that Robin, without the beard, never takes his hands off his hips!😂
I noticed that too Tara! 😂 smooth guy. Thanks for your support! More Bee Gees coming soon!
The Brothers Gibb are one of the most prolific songwriters of all time. Some of the best music in the 60s-90s was written by or sung by these amazing people. This is just one of hundreds they sang.
Thanks for your support Debra!
Their songs I believe are all from the heart or some kind of life experience
Personal songs usually become lifelong classics!
You would probably be shocked at the amount of hits the Bee Gees wrote that black people thought were black singers....and the amount of hits they wrote for other famouse artists.
They were the first group to have a huge Black cross-over following in the 70’s….and a huge influence for MJ’s “Thriller” album .
Wow I’m not surprised now!
Thanks for your support Karen!
Thanks for your support Gavin!
@@KingGreatnessKG Barry and Michael were very close friends, MJ was the godfather of Barrys youngest son Michael. They also had a song together (duet) . All in your name.
VERY GOOD!! REACT FOR WHOM THE BELL TOOLS LIVE BEE GEES...
Thanks I’ll add it to the list now! Thanks for your support Ronner!
They are the Gibb brothers. The oldest is Barry (middle), the other two are twins Robyn (left) and Maurice (right). They started performing & writing songs since they were little kids. Their voices blend like one. They are amazing! They donated all proceeds from this song to UNICEF.
BeeGees, The Brothers Gibb. Left, Robin Gibb; Middle, Barry Gibb; Right, Maurice Gibb.....Totally Awesome!!!
There are so many great songs. Try Fanny Be Tender, How Deep is Your Love, Alone, To Love Somebody. To start. 🥰
Thanks for the suggestions and your support Lilly! I’ll add them to the list.
Yooo Broo, you nail it..... Sooo much greatness going on...🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The'70's had such a great variety of music... this is just so pretty; and like Van Halen is So Hard... Led Zepplin, Stevie Wonder... man it was good.

And I grew up with them all...

Lead singer! Barry Gibb three Brothers! Greatness!!
Heavenly perfection!! But they can't wear angel's wings all the time, LOL! Love this song, one of my very tops!! ❤❤❤
another Soul reached and another heart enlightened while another mind goes blown
those outfits do match the times. The 70's.
Haha yeah! Thanks for your support!
3 brothers 70s had this type singers but these guys were the best!
Very talented. Thanks for your support Gina!
Unfortunate but glad he bounced back! 🙏🏽 Thanks for your support Brenda!
Musical ecstacy.
Dope on Dope
Great reaction! Heavenly indeed 🌹🌹🌹
Thank you Diane!! 😊
THESE GUYS CAN SING. BARRY IS THE HIGH VOICE. MARCUS N ROBIN GEE. ❤ THEM. 70S. BABY
You said you're only familiar with one other BEE GEES song. I'm guessing it's probably "STAYING ALIVE". Everybody knows that song! But they really have a lot of GREAT songs!
NIGHT FEVER
HOW DEEP IS YOUR LOVE
JIVE TALKIN
LOVE YOU INSIDE AND OUT
That's only a few!
Yeah I have only heard Staying Alive haha. I’ll add these songs to the list right now! Thanks for your support Rose!
bee gees how deep is your love
Definitely check out their R&B massive hit “Fanny be Tender”
I’ll add it to the list for future reaction! Thanks for your support Michelle!
You should hear some of the songs Robin Sings like "Massachusetts" "I Started a Joke" and others
I’ll add those to the list. Thanks for your support Jack!
Also check out their baby brother, Andy, who had a successful solo career in the late 1970s. He died far too soon at age 30.
I will. That’s unfortunate. 🙏🏽 Thanks for your support Kelli!
Great reaction to Too Much Heaven and the Bee Gees. They were such great singers and writers/producers.
By this point they had already been performing together for 20 years.
If you haven't heard them:
For some other classics 70's pop I would recommend The Carpenters
We've Only Just Begun.
Thank you so much for all of this info and suggestions PJF! Thanks for your support!
Loved the Lady and the Tramp!
Haha! Thanks for your support Lee!
