I love how women STILL react the same to these 3 guys 50 years later. You have been BEE GEED. :)
I am of those women!
Just don't react to vanilla ice. You'll get "ICED"!
🤣🤣🤣
They don’t write them like this anymore
@@ericlevi5729 they wrote all of their own music and for many others too
Many artists had there hits written by these 3 brothers.
They wrote "Emotion" for Destiny's Child
@@fredpearson5204 , and the best performance on my opinion is Bee Gees and Samantha Sang for "Emotion"
Of all the songs they wrote 17 went to #1. Most were recorded by the BeeGees or Andy Gibb. The one that surprised me the most was "Grease" by Frankie Valli, another falsetto king. There were several years in the late 70s where they owned the top 100. One of Barry's true friends was Michael Jackson. He named one of his sons after Michael who was also the godfather.
True. They were greater than people remember.
Barry...Barry...Barry! That voice...that flowing hair...those perfect teeth...those impossibly tight pants! The Bee Gees are ICONS...one of my favorite groups!
All of the men back then wore tight pants! Baggy pants are disgusting!
Did you know that since 1957 the beegees have written over 1030 songs?
Look at their posture ,hands on hips & hands in pockets, most ppl singing like that ,have to hold the mic, they do it so effortless ...
That is an old opera trick to stretch the muscles in your chest, allowing you to get more air in your lungs, therefore letting you hold your notes longer.
great song, but, they are lip syncing this
@@clifover Yeap, this is the music video of this N.1 song, ...But , for those who saw them singing it live , it’s even better than this .
Most beautiful voices I've ever heard. I grew up on Bee Gees thanks to my mom!!
You getting what's known as the beegees chills! Even punk ass acid rockers like me secretly love the Beegees!
Actual talent. No auto tune required.
or dancing or gimmicks.
NONE!!!
GOD bless rhe BeeGees & now PLEASE bless BARRY GIBB! SUCH unbelievable, heartfelt BEAUTY! NO instruments...ONLY pure VOICING.
Barry Gibb is such a nice man, my sister use to date his son years ago and I met him quite a few times at their home in Miami Beach. They have such a great framily. Rip Robin and Maurice 🙏
That's a really nice story. I wished I could meet Barry.
Don't forget about Andy he was the youngest brother. Andy was alot like Barry. He was a solo artist and his brother's wrote all of his music.
@@christophereaton4145 yes you are correct sir he had a troubled life though. In their studio they have a memorial for him on the wall. He left us way too soon 🤔🙏
They seem like a very nice family what a tragedy what happened with his brothers
Barry Gibbs are the last BeeGees now Rip to his brothers
yes i heard those other 2 was dead
@@judewilliams3911 3 was dead .. their other brother Andy Gibb die to 1988 .
@@gerryweed7697 i knew andy was dead too my knowledge he was the first one too die
It's like they invented harmony. Live band, no auto tune, no computerized voice enhancement and one mic for all three of them. Back then (1979). singing was just pure, raw talent. By the date of this recording, the BeeGees had already been singing together professionally for 21 years when Barry was 12 years old and the twins were just 9. All of the Gibb brothers including little brother, Andy, could sing in that amazing falsetto voice. But Barry was the master. He was able to exorcise more control over it. The Gibbs were, in my opinion, the most multi-talented families in music history. They wrote their own songs as well as writing songs for many other musical greats. This song was included on a compilation album to benefit UNICEF. There were many artists who recorded songs on the album, but the BeeGees gave all the royalties from this song in any form. In, at that time, an unprecedented move, they also gave UNICEF the publishing rights to Too Much Heaven. To date, Too Much Heaven has raised over 11 million dollars for UNICEF. In 1967, they wrote a song called To Love Somebody which appeared on their third album titled BeeGees 1st, but their first internationally, as the first two albums were only released in Australia. BeeGees 1st was released in July '67. Otis Redding was set to record To Love Somebody on his next album. Sadly, Otis was killed in a plane crash, Dec 10,1967. I thought for the longest time that they didn't record it themselves until after the death of Otis Redding. Their brother Andy Gibb had a very successful solo career as well until his death on March 10,1988. Just 5 days after turning 30. Andy had developed myocarditis, inflammation of the heart, which was brought on by a viral infection While most people recover from myocarditis, Andy's body was unable to fight the infection due to his history of drug use. Soo sad! The 1st time I heard this song, I was 15 years old. I was sitting on the floor in our living room. They sang with so much emotion that I had tears running down my face. It didn't hurt that before this I found out that Barry and I shared the same birthday, me in 1963 and him in 1946. While I was crying, my daddy came in and told me to knock it off or he'd change the channel. He was mean.
They have always given me goose bumps. To me......their voices are angelical!!!!!!
These 3 gentleman are the best barry, Maurice, Robin, i could listen to there music all day long, R.I P. MAURICE, & ROBIN WHEN barry lost you 2 brother's he lost the Bee Gees. 💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔💔
Had the biggest crushon Barry back in the day. Also Andy. They were great songwriters!
Ok, you did two Bee Gees ballads, now you really need to react to their disco stuff, like Staying Alive, You Should Be Dancing or Tragedy! 💃🕺
Barry the one in the middle with the falsetto is still living. The one in the left Robin passed in 2012 and Robin’s fraternal twin Maurice (pronounced Morris) is on the right he passed in 2002. Both Robin and Maurice had beautiful voices also. The
3 brothers wrote music for themselves and a multitude of other reformers
You are missing Andy He passed away young. He sang with them for a few years.
@@ReadingIsLife1908 Andy had a solo career. Barry, and his brothers Robin, and Mo wrote Andy's songs, and was very supportive of his career. Sometimes you will hear the Bee Gees singing in the Background. Andy sung with them on a few occasions.
@@alexandroquerevalu7811 Right before Andy passed, plans were in the making for him to participate in their next album, ONE.
Reformers!!! LMBOOTYOFF 🤣🤣🤣 Performers----yep, they were the masters of the craft!!!! 💕💕💕🎶🎶🎶💗💗💗💗💗Barry was the absolute mega HEARTTHROB!!!!!!!! "WHAT A MAJOR HUNK WOW-WEE-WHOO..............................
@@ReadingIsLife1908 Andy was as hot as his older Brother Barry!! Actually, they could have been twins, they look more alike than the actual twins do. You would never believe that Robin & Mo were twins at all. If we were to put Robin on one side of the street, and Mo on the other side, there's absolutely no way anyone, and I do mean "ANYONE" would know that they were even brothers. What an odd looking bunch! The whole family looks nothing alike, all except Barry & Andy of course. Love them all, they are the best of the best when it comes down to "MEGA TALENT" !!!!! 💗💗💗💗🎶🎶🎶💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜❤️💜
The most beautiful song ever recorded by the greatest singing group there ever was. It is IN heaven where we WILL receive this love they are singing about and we all seek...Moses
Enjoy! We hv since the 70s we lived, laughed, cried LOVED AND HURT BUT IT WAS THE BEST OF TIMES, THE GREtATEST ERA IN MUSIC'S HISTORY AND YOU GUYS ARE NOW JUST BEGINNING TO SCRATCH THE SURFACE, TONS MORE OUT THERE, THE BROTHERS GIBB ONE OF THE MOST REMARKABLE SONGWRITING TEAM IN POP MUSIC HISTORY R.I.P.MAURICE AND ROBIN AND THANK YOU FOR THE MUSIC BARRY
Barry is still alive the beautiful brother with that beautiful voice ! He’s an old man now a sweet soul an still a beautiful singer !
The Bee Gees and Andy Gibb were ALL brothers and of the few, if only, who embraced funk, soul and R&B and we're successful for it.
So, they prove no matter a person's skin color, it comes from within one's soul. You've got to appreciate their mark on the World their music left. No matter the skin color of listeners of their music, their music goes past color. Exhibit A.
That song came out in 1978 my generation I love it when I see young people appreciating our music and there was no auto tunes Barry the lead singer is still alive
What we all have to remember also is not only we’re they one of the best groups in the world they are responsible for writing some of the biggest songs for a lot of huge artists around the world
The Bee Gees were the greatest ever!! Their music touches your heart and soul!! Watch Fanny be tender with my love!
Bee gees fun fact... what do these 3 massive #1 hit's by the Bee Gees ( Tragedy, Too Much Heaven & Shadow Dancing) all have in common? Not only were they all #1 hits from 1979 but they were all written on the same afternoon! it's crazy when you even think about how talented these 3 brothers were!! The harmonies & Barry's falsetto are second to none! There will never be another group like this again........EVER!
One afternoon! 😮 that’s crazy 😜. I have been thinking, are they even from this planet?
Listening to the Bee Gees always puts me in a calm mood
❤️ ***IF THERE IS MUSIC IN HEAVEN, IT WOULD SOUND LIKE THE BEE GEE'S*** ❤️ R.I.P. Andy, Maurice, & Robin...️️️️
Robin was very keen that Barry kept doing the falsetto, as that's where the dollar signs came in, and the older brother can still do it - after a fashion. You have to feel for him really, because he's lost his family and also the whole support mechanism for his vocals.
One group that can never be duplicated B-Gees heaven sent!
And do ya;ll even know that these men wrote the soundtrack to Saturday NIght Fever, Grease, Islands in the Stream... and many more... the BEE GEES were amazing!!!
Your faces during this song are priceless! Bee Gee’s range, harmony and some writing skills are second to none.
Barry the lead singer is still alive. He's near 80 and still looks amazing for that age. ...he still has it... Still sings!!!!
Barry Gibb. My God his voice. Such harmony with his brothers.
The BeeGees one of Gods gifts to humanity!
Barry, the oldest who sang that falsetto is still alive. Robyn And Maurice were twins and have passed on!
Lol Yes Barry always has had that ability to reach the highest pitches!
Andy passed on too.
Barry the main one singing is still alive. He lives in Mami married for over 45 years to the same woman.
For whom the bell tolls is a great bee gees song
Barry looks like a hot disco jesus.
That hair is a force of nature! Bow down before it before it destroys you all!
A lion.
Oh girl you have no idea he was hot we all had posters of him and his younger brother all over our walls shirts unbuttoned and everything
@@sharon8015 It has always amazed me that these guys who looked 45 when they were 20 & starting out here in the UK were sex symbols.
And he and his brothers sing like angels.
Doesn't matter what the Ears look like,Good music is Good music. Great reaction sis!
I'm so glad I was able to grow up in this musical era when music was raw talent, no synthesized or digital involvement period. So glad this generation is getting to discover this era and enjoy it.
Great Reaction. The royalties and music rights were given to the children of the world through UNICEF. It has earned millions for them. Very good family men. Man In the Middle and Immortality sung with Celine Dion is the song Barry said is about their musical legacy. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.
The one that is still alive is Barry the lead singer. And he has been married to the same woman for 50 year's. Lucky her. Barry was so good looking. And they were so talented. They were from Australia. And there youngest brother was Andy Gibb.
Actually from England, then Australia, then USA.
Andy the youngest died on a plane crush..
@@whitfordluciano980 no, he died from heart failure in his 30’s. Too much coke
@@denisebillings4273 No he had myocarditis- a heart disease. Andy was only 3.0
The 70's were known for smooth vocals ! Some of the best music ever came out of the 70's !!
I've watched enough of her clips to know surprise face when I see surprise face, lol. Every time her eyes widened, that was surprise face. LOL, it was great. I loved it.
Angelic voices!! Amazing lyrics and sound!!!
When he discovered he had falsetto....everything opened up for them.....I still love their early work..MY FAVOURITE GROUP EVER....just love, no hate.
One of my favorite songs
The falsetto is REAL.🙂💖👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Their music embodies what women want in men: strength, honesty, and tenderness.
Such beautiful harmonies, and vocals.
Welcome Jay to Macworld! Lol! That smooth cashmere voices are what transformed my tomboyish character to mascara and heels! The Bee Gees were it for me! Musicians at that time were very diversified and they celebrated each other's artists . It was a way to escape any bullcrap from certain tribulations still going on. I'm so glad that you hear what I and people in my age group, 50+ hold on to in how music used to be, harmonies, lyrics etc. 😍🇵🇷❤💃
I am transported to music heaven literally 😍💞💞💞💞 my parents love Bee Gees.Great reaction dear.
My favorite Bee Gee song, and that's saying something, because I love all of their songs.
You are the best REACTION CHANNEL. We’re older we know how great The Bee Gees are. We don’t need to be told. Your smile and emotion makes us want to listen to-you react to this music. I’ve heard this 10,000 times
A new documentary about them about to drop on HBO on 12/12: "Bee Gees: How to Mend a Broken Heart." Looking forward to it!
It's a beautiful and sad documentary......
Oh pleaseee do TRAGEDY. I use to have a Bee Gee's record case as a little girl. Love them so much
You are amazing! I Love all of your reactions! Perfection and Thank You for sharing! Barry is still alive the lead singer! All 3 of his brothers passed!
You got it. That's what it's about. "Love is such a beautiful thing. Do you come to me like a summer day. Or you like a dream that fades away?"
Man they were good. I grew up to my parents listening to them. I loved their younger brother Andy Gibb.
I’m 52. I say my generation had the best music ever
Amazing how gorgeous voice can elevate a song with simple lyrics. Making it stunning.
I remember the point in the late 70s / early 80s where, as a an early teen kid who was supposed to be into punk, pop, rock and early EDM, I had to face the fact the The Bee Gees were utterly brilliant at their art and I simply couldn’t (and wouldn’t) dislike them the way I was supposed to. Once I’d faced that truth the musical landscape opened up before me and I’ve benefited from that clearer view ever since. Thanks for the video 😊
Awesome song... Happy Thanksgiving beautiful. Keep up the great reactions!!🍗🍁😊💞✌
I can see beyond tomorrow everything we are will never die. When a song like this gets me so emotional it's magic. My Favorite song by BGS 🥰🤗🤩
You are ADORABLE!!!!
Your reaction is Priceless.
I’m 64 and I remember when this song came on the radio I thought it was a Roberta Flack song from the music.... The Bee Gees donated this song to UNICEF... and they also used the horn section from the group Chicago in this 🎧 💕
I’m looking forward to watching you discover their incredible catalog. My vote is for “Fannie Be Tender” to be next.
Bee Gees ruled back in the day. So many hits they sang and wrote for other artist.
Absolutely Beautiful I'm so glad you found great era Music. You deserve it another beauty is " Together Baby" by TIERRA. WOW WOW WOW SONG OF LOVE LAND. JUMP IN JAYY.......
When you wake from a lovely warm dream this is the music that should accompany that moment.
When my younger brothers used to annoy me with heavy metal back in the late 70s and early 80s. I would put on The Bee Gees. I loved them. They didn’t. Lol.
Besides the vocals your facial expressions are everything.
Their harmonizing is incredible. Sweet music. If you have a chance you need to watch and listen To “Stayin’ Alive” more hits off that album than maybe any album ever produced.
I'm glad that you finally got to it. It is a beautifully sung song.
I have been in love with Barry Gibb since I was about 13 years old! 😍 I ended up having a major crush on Andy Gibb after seeing him perform Shadowdancing. Hmm! He WAS like a younger version of Barry! 😊
The brothers donated this song to UNICEF, to help children all over the world in need. It's brought in millions upon millions of dollars over the years...
Humble, generous and extremely talented - that's these three Musical Geniuses in a nutshell...
💖💖💖
Night Fever and Stayin´ Alive are definitely must-do reactions!
this is from my era..the 1970's. Nice to see your era enjoying music from back then
It's too bad that they don't make music like the music of the 50's, 60's and 70's, like music of The Beatles, The Beegees, The Hollies, Dave Clark Five, Eagles, Chicago, The Beach Boys, Procol Harum. The music of today us not beautiful, a lot of them are ugly, C(rap) no harmony, cheap !!!!! 🤔🤔🤔🤣🤣🤣👋👋👋🙏🙏🙏🙋♂️🙋♂️🙋♂️🎵🎶🎼
Gorgeous falsetto harmonies!!
Barry the one with the high notes is still alive. They were all brothers
Love your reactions!!
Voices that pretty and all way before auto-tune.
Nearly 50 years later and these guys still get the panties dropping!
You Should Be Dancing, 1976, all FOUR Bee Gees singing together in Vegas ( baby brother Andy included ) Star power, with John Travolta dancing in moves from Saturday Night Fever.
Aw yeah! More than a woman is probably my favourite of theirs.
SIR BARRY IS still alive. The one singing. The good looking one
How could you go on about how Maurice and Robin "look" when they sing so beautifully!😒 They all looked good in their own way. I was in love with all of them in my teens.
I simply love your wide eyed expressions of amazement.
My favorite part of this reaction was when she looked at the FINE Barry Gibb and smiled. You made my day.
What i love are the face everyone makes when they hear thier voices like 😮😮😮
My all time favorite group! They can sing, write, produce…talented brothers!
Robin (white outfit), Barry (singing lead) and Maurice (backup) Gibb called themselves the Brothers Gibb or BGs - hence the name "Bee Gees."
Legends....period.They took disco and ran with it.
This song is so relaxing.
The Brothers Gibb (hence the name Bee Gees). Barry is the oldest of the three and sang lead on this in his falsetto. Robin is the one with the long hair on the left, and Maurice (pronounced Morris) is the one on the right. Maurice was the first of the three to pass, then Robin died a few years ago. They also had a much younger brother, Andy Gibb, who had a short but prolific career. But he died at the age of 30. Sad. Barry is the last man standing. Search RUclips for the BiographyChannel’s biography of the Bee Gees. You’ll hear a lot of their music. Don’t overlook their early stuff from the 60s. It’s some of their best work. For instance, “To Love Somebody” is a song they wrote for legendary R&B singer Otis Redding (whose #1 hit “Sittin’ On the Dock Of the Bay” is worth a reaction), but Otis died before he could record it. So the Bee Gees recorded “To Love Somebody” and it was s big hit for them. Also, “Words” is one of the most beautiful songs ever recorded. They are easily one of the top 5 groups of all time. Not much debate about that.
Try reacting to Massachusetts,To Love So embody, Nights on Broadway,Jive Talkin’, How Deep is Your Love, amongst another 30 songs!👍🏻❤️☮️✌🏻🎤🎂
Massachusetts gives me goose bumps!
Such Awesomeness! You looked at Peace listening to their heavenly voices!🙂
Nothing like three brothers harmonizing! Your eyes...priceless!
I really like how much you appreciated this song and Barry's falsetto, as evidenced by your facial reactions and words. Great reaction. Thanks
Love it! You have the most appreciative reactions! 💕
No gimmicks..no glove, no lights, just pure talent
Barry, still married to Linda...50 years now. Says they're still in love. awe.
Singing this to my lady at a HS dance.. 1978... under the soft lights, young love. Such great memories.
I just love to hear them sing. I been bee Geed. They have amazing voices.
