Certain people have already played the game exclusively. It always like this when a AAA game comes out. How do you think they are able to discuss certain stuff about the games.
Damn... the closer we get to release the more excited I am... it's been too long since we got a proper BGS game! if Starfield is proper - this thing is going to be gigantic!
Words cannot express how much your videos are fueling my hype! They are very high quality and the rate of your uploads is just enough to satisfy my urge to theorize and speculate about the game. You're doing well.
I've never played an rpg or Bethesda game ..mmos and survival games have been my home. Im joining my family in a launch weekend of gaming. I appreciate this soo much 😮
Shame that there are still loading screens when entering interiors, I was hoping for a true next gen experience much like how we all went from Skyrim to Witcher 3.
On the non lootable armor I have a few thoughts on it. 1, I'd prefer its in the game. 2. It might be and we just saw early builds, or they didn't want to reveal things. Like for many it might just be clothing so instead of showing the disappointing space suit with no armor, resistances, etc they just cut it out of the previews. 3. Space suits might be the underwear of the people in the game. Which is something you can't loot in Bethesda games(without mods at least). This would be my disappointing outcome but its not a big deal either, its just one of those immersion can loot (almost)anything perks that is diminished in the game .
Bit of a random question: Are you guys planning to play it at launch, and suffer the gamebreaking bugs, or wait until the bugs are patched and risk seeing spoilers?
I grew up with a keyboard and mouse for computer games (well actually keyboard and joystick - on my Commodore 64 - but eventually KBM) but switched to primarily controller when I put in my reservation for my Steam Deck two years ago. Where as I only used controller for driving games before, today I mostly prefer controllers except for some multiplayer/co-op games.
I'm more than ok with Startield having a level cap. In my opinion, how else is it suppose to get you to be encouraged to try multiple playthroughs rather than just becoming all powerful in a single playthrough?
Light, ive never played a bgs game before properly, can I ask you about random encounters? The ones that are not quests, but also not just open world fluff. Like in red dead redemption 2, finding someone who is lost and taking them to the nearest town or buying a newspaper or getting robbed on the road. Do BGS games have these types of random encounters? Thanks
@@Light-YT thanks, because I’m currently playing red dead 2 and AC: Origins and I notice a big difference between the interactivity of the open worlds. Can’t wait for Starfield and I’ve watched every one of your videos in the past 6 months
I've always wanted Bethesda to make an open world Star Wars game. Starfield is as close as we'll get to that. All it would take is a few mods to convert it to a Star Wars game.
Sadly, the issue of being unable to pick up some armor isn't new, Fallout 4 did this, you could only take the parts from power armor, not the power armor itself. I think that's the same logic they are trying to use, if this is actually how it's going to work, and not just something about what they happen to be showing us. I do hope this is incorrect so we can pick up anything, as I hated this in Fallout 4 as well, but mods will fix it if it's actually an issue anyway, so I'm not worried about it either way.
I don't mind not being able to pick up power armor in Fallout 4 since they're supposed to be almost like tanks but I agree, it's gonna suck big time if we can't pick up spacesuits in starfield
@@Light-YT I don't like it either way, but that's my bet of why. Getting a space suit or power armor off a dead body would be difficult compared to simply clothes.
They are SANDBOX rpgs. So like trying to encapsulate the imagination of a ttrpg within the confines of that rules set. I've played enough Ttrpg to see a lot of players want to just "live" in that world and you toss out 30 hours of prep in a campaign because X and Y want to go to do pirate stuff. These games are that. Daggerfall being a huge basis for this concept. Then you get players who want to be told a story and become the hero. Its why you'll find people who prefer Pillers of Eternity over Skyrim and vice versa. One, prefers a structured story and creates a character to be taken along. Or the other prefers a world and be set loose to live in it, creating their own stories. Essentially Bethesda games are for GM's who want to play too.
You would think that most people would have playd a BGS game by now but a fair few people haven't. My nephew is a big fortnight player (he's young!) and I have been mentioning Starfield when ever he's down for a visit and he's not really interested. I got him to play Skyrim for bit a while a go but he wasn't into it. I think it was too long involved for him at the time and I don't think the whole "get out and explore for yourself" bit was appealing enough then.... I think Starfield and its pretty graphics might bring him around though 😇 Cool vid: 35 days until launch, 30 days for the big spenders.
Regarding the amount of followers with you at once I hope you can have multiple followers but if you decide to have more than one then their damage is scaled down a bit just for balancing difficulty. This will allow you to get that group feeling without the game being to easy due to your companions multiple strengths.
I feel bad for Playstation players not being able to play this unless they get a PC or Xbox if its actually as good as they are making it out to be it should be enjoyed by all

But no, Sony is and always has been a jerk company, hard to feel sorry that they won't get Starfield. Maybe if they hadn't been such a jerk company Xbox/Bethesda would have given them a port.

That’s actually only certain interiors. Specifically the procedural ones such as the outposts and bases that spawn around planets
