Just got the grey and silver model on a stainless bracelet. I love this thing! My wife and I are going to Italy this summer and this might be the only watch I bring. It’s cool and casual enough for Florentine museums, distinguished enough (especially in a post Apple Watch world) for a nice dinner in Rome, and water resistant enough for the Mediterranean. Plus with five alarms we will never miss a reservation or train. Gotta love it!
One cool point about the Royale is that it's become the Honda Civic of watches - the modding market catering to it is only rivaled by the Seiko SKX. Says it all, really.
I wore mine in the Atlantic Ocean and pools and it still looks brand new. I love the orange backlight, too. Best of both worlds, good illumination with a classic warm glow(like the original light bulb f91w) and no jarring blue light
As a prideful G-Shock daily user, god I love these watches. I have the GBA-800 1AER. It's a bluetooth watch, so I can track/save the pedometer, and create timers/stopwatches in an app. But the watch doesn't lose any functionality without the app, and is worth the £120 i spent
