Though the title ,and some of this episode, focuses on Hognose snakes, this video provide great socializing tips for all species of snake!

The ultimate goal is to help more people understand snakes, their unique ways of communicating, and for new and veteran snake keepers alike to find ways to connect with their animals and build lasting, rewarding connections with them.

This is a great video. I think my hilight handlight session is still when my lil' dude decided to curl up in my bra (I assume it was small enough he felt safe and warm enough he was comfy).
One thing I encountered when I first got mine was that the babies are so freaking small, so much smaller even than I expected, that I was terrified I was going to break him at first.

You covered this topic so well! To get my ball python out of food mode I mist her or her enclosure with a spray bottle. That way she is out of food mode before I even open her enclosure to spot clean, change water etc. I wonder if that would work for hoggies to get them out of food mode or distract them. Great video and beautiful pankek sneks. ❤
