- We bought six Plains Hognose babies and documented our process of preparing for them and unboxing them! One of them tried to eat my husband.

Great video, welcome to the hognose community. Hope you keep posting
Thank you much, HissyHogs ^_^ It has been such a wonderful experience. There's nothing quite like a Hognose snake! So beautiful with a touch (or more) of derpiness XD
@@HeartsScales yes they are "Special" snakes 😂
I forgot to mention in my other comment: When you drill the holes in the tubs, one thing you can do is hold a piece of sacrificial wood on the other side of the plastic. This helps prevent the plastic from splitting, as well as tear-out and reduces the amount of cleanup you have do do. Just watch your fingers to not hurt yourself. Just a little tip for next time if you do it again!
Hey that's an awesome tip man, thank you! Next time we have to drill something we'll keep that in mind.
It’s even better to use a soldering iron. No sharp edges and quick
Great video! Those are some gorgeous animals you have there! Looking forward to seeing more from you!
Thank you! We're working on a few others right now ☺️
Where did you the 6qt tubs?
We found them at Target: www.target.com/p/sterilite-6-qt-clear-view-box-clear-with-latches-purple/-/A-13794493#lnk=sametab
There are a few hognose breeders out there who swear by these ones because of the latching lids and easy-to-drill sides and lids. They've worked really great for us. I will say that we've since learned it's necessary to drill several holes in the lid to ensure good ventilation, and keep the humidity from building up too much.
Haha, are u going to name the future female Lavender baby Jasmine?? 😂❤
I can show you the world ~ ;0)
