    For those who want to increase power this is a good video with a golden nugget!Notice how Abel gets him to punch to the shoulder but immediately as soon as Abel puts up the mitt he stops at the mitt.. Abel teaches him fighters to punch through targets! A lot of it is your intention when throwing a punch, you have to punch through the object as if there is an object on the other side which is your real target. This teaches you to dig those shots in.

    Can someone explain to me why Sanchez told him to extend his arm and throw a wider hook at 3:40 ?? From my experience, throwing a wide further away hook like that with palm facing yourself could put serious stress on your elbow, shoulder, wrist joints???
    From my guess, maybe he taught him to throw a wide hook like that without full power so in a real scenario, he can shorten it up??? Instead of throwing a short hook in practice and can't throw a long range hook in a real fight??

    No doubt Canelo is an excellent fighter, in his prime at 26, but Golovkin is a cut-above the rest. His fight against Jacobs speaks volumes of how Triple G reacts against technically crafted boxer-punchers. Jacob is so far better than any opponent Canelo has ever fought. Even though I don't deny Canelo's boxing abilities, I am certain that he has been a little bit hyped by his promoters. Sometimes is about perception, review opponents Canelo has faced versus the ones GGG has, check facebook.com/Boxingopinion/. Thx!

    • @MrPelavacas
      @MrPelavacas 7 лет назад +1

      Exactly, plus There's no telling what Jacobs would do against canelo in my opinion Jacobs would beat canelo

    • @mrmustang6977
      @mrmustang6977 7 лет назад +1

      The Boxer can't wait for the fight... I'm just thought his last 2 fights he got hit way too many times... I have a feeling canelo might touch him one too many times... 50/50 fight imo

    • @TheGreatTraeX
      @TheGreatTraeX 7 лет назад

      The Boxer Jacobs beat golovkin and let's not act like Jacobs is a p4p fighter. He fights on the outside with his weight on his front foot. That's not technically sound.

    • @avais6712
      @avais6712 7 лет назад +2

      Trae X Jacobs did not win, no need to be biased. GGG did the with early knocked him down and then went into cruise control, letting Jacobs take a few of the later rounds. The truth is GGG beat Jacobs in cruise control. Looks like GGG didn't even ko Jacobs on purpose when he had him down, watch his past fights and how he reacts when he hurts someone and look at this fight. I think he had the canelo fight already at the back of his mind

    • @avais6712
      @avais6712 7 лет назад +1

      Trae X and he is technically sound check his amateur record, beat fighters like Andre dirrell and bute in the amateurs.
