It might have been more tricky for you too because as an amateur fighting whoever they threw at you, you wouldn't have the tape on the other guy to train or a suitable training partner to mimic them. I don't think Fury will have either of these issues seeing as KSI's fights are all available online and Fury should have no shortage of money to hire an appropriate partner and team to plan around KSI's style
I agree with the no contest, but if that elbow didn’t happen, KSI was definitely winning either way, he was just better and more skilled, despite his flaws.
As a lifelong fan of boxing (Hagler's the GOAT) you sound to me like you are angling for a job cuz you are talking complete and utter mince and as an Olympic medalist you know it. A good jab will win the fight for either side. Fury’s jab offset Jake’s rhythm but Tommy also never put anything behind his jab. JJ’s never really stuck his jab on anyone but he’s always determined to throw. I just hope JJ shows us a jab.
@@TheOnlyDeathsent aren't all these silly RUclips fights odd? I'm not picking on Point Boxing/PKB/PMT, but I'd much rather watch that at a hotel ball room setup than watch two RUclipsrs, or just a RUclipsr in general, fight.

I've only gotten into the RUclipsr Boxing because of the beef between Tommy and KSI. Your a legend pal, thankyou for your content, you've taught me a lot to do with boxing, I used to box but because I have indentations in my head so had to stop
KSI has good speed but I think his lack of basics like hand back to the chin after throwing will see him come unstuck. He also telegraphs the over hand. Can’t see Tommy fury having too much of a problem with him.
Yeah he could still use incorporate his unorthodox karate style that suits his attributes well if he applied basic fundamentals. Even keeping his hands up to his shoulders rather than below his waist could make a big difference
it wont be a walkover for tommy if he does win, will either be a close fight for the most part or ksi flattens him with an overhand that tommy is vulnerable to
Great analysis. Would love to one on Salt Papi, for an influencer, I think he's shown a lot of natural talent in the boxing ring and many pros agree on this
i think its really hard to tell since jj has the most unorthodox style you could think of and reminds me alot like wilder. i mean hes pretty much wiped the floor with most of his opponents (apart from logan) and we haven't seen much training footage from him, so hes quite a mystery in boxing. we havnt even seen him in the later rounds yet as most of his most recent boxing fights have lasted 1 round to 2 rounds, but at the same time tommey fury has the experience, beat jake, and is the more polished fighter. i think jj has to go for the knockout otherwise tommey will win by decision
I boxed for 5 years. Then Muay Thai, kick boxing and grappling. An elbow is like a golf club. Feels nothing like a punch with a glove on, or bare fist, it’s more like a hammer. This KSI doesn’t judge distance and move in with tight combos. He’s rushes in with a flurry with his chin open. Tommy Fury will pick his opening take his time and connect imo. 2 round KO is possible. But those fights don’t benefit from a Mike Tyson style win. It’s part of a storyline so notice it’ll go the distance. £££££££
how much of a factor would the size & weight be in this fight? It seems like Tommy is far bigger and heavier. I don't think KSI can take a big hit from Tommy.
He took two upper cuts from Logan and got back up and Logan was 200+ pounds on the night of the fight so I think he can Logan had to literally cheat to knock him down but he ksi took it and got back up I have seen many people take punches like that and not get up
Mr Jeffries, firstly, great content. Thank you for your channel. I have a request: a video about stances and footwork ideas for people with scoliosis, since it messes up our balance.
Great breakdown from someone who has been in the game for a long time
Short answer: no
From the screen, |TO THE RING|, to the pen to the king.
I agree with the no contest, but if that elbow didn’t happen, KSI was definitely winning either way, he was just better and more skilled, despite his flaws.
Great analysis and great channel Tony! Subscribed!!!
Not giving his real opinion to possibly get hired as ksi’s coach in the future :(
Tony you're the only one who gives an honest opinion and who doesn't hate on no one.
As a lifelong fan of boxing (Hagler's the GOAT) you sound to me like you are angling for a job cuz you are talking complete and utter mince and as an Olympic medalist you know it. KSI began telegraphing his first big bomb of the fight yesterday and I'm sure TF is clocking it already. Who does he think he is with the low hands, Roger Mayweather? Terrible footwork, leaping, no counters, no doubling up the jab and no head movement. RUclips boxing is the Pro Wrestling of the sweet science. I pray to the boxing gods that Tommy ends this fraud's sweet science dalliance.
Respect to you not just straight shi talking and hating on him just bc he’s a “YT boxer” bc most pro boxers just seem to under value these guys just bc they stared off on YT.
ksi literally is superhuman. All his trainers and everyone around him say hes the hardest working in the gym and he still in his spare time uploads RUclips videos and promote prime and misfits on the side. Just goes to show its not that you can't do it its all mindset
Lol
finaly a good review of his boxing. thanks for this.
UP THE JEFFRIES
What does that mean?
@@bobdarrick2628 Travellers in the UK say it after they win bareknuckle fights or when doing a call out video. It's similar to saying Big up the Jeffries or Jeffries are the best.
@@avoicefromnuneaton4585 ok thanks. R u sure? Cos I’m from the Uk and I have a friend who says Up the _ (the city he is from) and he says that when he watches them at a football game in person/in the stadium.
@@bobdarrick2628 Yeah Im from the UK, people say it at football like 'play up sky blues' but I've only heard 'up the -second name here-' from travellers. I've never heard a non traveller/gypo say 'up the -second name here' in any case it's the same meaning pretty much. My main point was that it's a positive thing to say, not a negative thing. As up the jeffries could sound like an insult if you didn't know about how the travellers use the phrase 'up the -second name here-'
@@avoicefromnuneaton4585 okay
You are my favorite. Love it, see you soon and have you on my podcast soon. Cheers!
No he absolutely can't fight, even after 5 years of dedicating himself to the sport with the best coaches 😅 Tommy Fury would smoke him
Would?
Amazing video keep up the good work!
ksi has something you can't tech, the heart, the grind, the dog and the hunger which you mentioned, he's willing to fully commit and get in there because he believes in his power
Cringe
yeah that too lmao@@-l-3591
You seem like a genuine top bloke, who knows what you're talking about. Absolutely love the video mate 10/10.
Pretty bad analysis to be fair. The fact you didn’t know how that KSI fight ended and you think a part time amateur boxer has a chance against a pro.,,,
tommy fury couldnt knockout a guy with a 100 losses
@@swagman8402 who said anything about Tommy knocking him out
Buddy it ain’t you who have won a Olympic medal it’s your takes that’s ass
Idk how ksi has so much confidence when anyone with decent defense can read his moves and adjust if you don't get intimidated by his speed and power.
Love the analysis and expertise. KSI will be lucky to last a round. Hands down, head down while throwing the jab, Tommy will laugh at this.
KSi vs joe was ruled a no contest
lol if a boxer knocks out his opponent with an elbow... in no other reality would that be counted as a win. What are we doing?
It didn’t count as a win, it was overruled as a DQ
@@KxngAP no contest not dq
Really love your video and how real you are
5:32 didn't age well lmao
A good jab will win the fight for either side. Fury’s jab offset Jake’s rhythm but Tommy also never put anything behind his jab. JJ’s never really stuck his jab on anyone but he’s always determined to throw. I just hope JJ shows us a jab.
Thumbs up if you think KSI will win !
Just came across this channel. Would really enjoy seeing his perspective on more influencer boxers. Great vid man x
ksi is a very awkward fighter, thats what makes him dangerous
Bro won with a elbow strike
@@omsofi1111 *a forearm strike and it was not on purpose
Can you review the fight of KSI vs Tommy Fury? I would love to see it!
Is it because he said KSI would win?
@@greathairengineer No, but the fight was a pretty odd fight in general...
@@TheOnlyDeathsent aren't all these silly RUclips fights odd? I'm not picking on Point Boxing/PKB/PMT, but I'd much rather watch that at a hotel ball room setup than watch two RUclipsrs, or just a RUclipsr in general, fight.
@@greathairengineer not really i mean its a good thing where they would attract more people in to boxing!
@@TheOnlyDeathsent yeah, I can agree with that
KSI isn't supposed to win the Tommy fury fight, that doesn't mean that he won't, Alot of people genuinely believe that he'll win, including me.
It's called delusion
@@-l-3591In boxing, There's always a puncher's chance
Great insight truly. Kinda lame that you teased with a prediction, ran an ad before the prediction, and then didn’t give a prediction.
*It’s arrogance not confidence.* He’s fighting guys with far less experience, who can’t fight. He’s very egotistical because he’s never been humbled.
Logan had about the same experience, Fournier had more experience than him( even though it was a no contest).
When I was younger I used to watch him a lot, he plays a character to sell fights he is a down to earth guy.
Shout out Box n Burn! Thanks Tony for the vid, tired of hearing all these RUclipsrs opinions on this fight
Thank you for the review. It helped me understand the possibilities better.
Your video popped up on my recommendations, and i gotta say.. youre soo underrated! Keep doing what you're doing!! Subbed!!
I've only gotten into the RUclipsr Boxing because of the beef between Tommy and KSI. I am a KSI fan but after watching a few clips of KSI and Tommy fighting I'd have to say Tommy just has better fundamentals compared to most RUclips boxers. But everyone loves a comeback story and in this fight KSI is the undisputed underdog. I believe in him to create a miracle. LETS GOO KSI!!
KSI lost.
KSI lost, good fight though
Your a legend pal, thankyou for your content, you've taught me a lot to do with boxing, I used to box but because I have indentations in my head so had to stop
KSI has good speed but I think his lack of basics like hand back to the chin after throwing will see him come unstuck. He also telegraphs the over hand. Can’t see Tommy fury having too much of a problem with him.
Yeah he could still use incorporate his unorthodox karate style that suits his attributes well if he applied basic fundamentals. Even keeping his hands up to his shoulders rather than below his waist could make a big difference
it wont be a walkover for tommy if he does win, will either be a close fight for the most part or ksi flattens him with an overhand that tommy is vulnerable to
if u look at the elbow before it landed ksi actually pulled him in to it. u can see that he wraps his arm under his arm and pulls him in to it
Btw KSI came back to boxing in 2022. And has had 4 fights since. The faze Temper fight was this January. Not 2021 like it says in your video…
Great analysis. Would love to one on Salt Papi, for an influencer, I think he's shown a lot of natural talent in the boxing ring and many pros agree on this
You alway come across very well and you give kudos where it is due in a light hearted but also knowing-your-stuff way. Respect mate 👍
i think its really hard to tell since jj has the most unorthodox style you could think of and reminds me alot like wilder. i mean hes pretty much wiped the floor with most of his opponents (apart from logan) and we haven't seen much training footage from him, so hes quite a mystery in boxing. we havnt even seen him in the later rounds yet as most of his most recent boxing fights have lasted 1 round to 2 rounds, but at the same time tommey fury has the experience, beat jake, and is the more polished fighter. i think jj has to go for the knockout otherwise tommey will win by decision
Why is KSI wearing a ballerina skirt at 3:20 🤣
Your content is elite Tony.
We shall see october 14th next Saturday inshallah God willing.
Thank you for giving hope 😅
Hope ksi wins
I boxed for 5 years. Then Muay Thai, kick boxing and grappling. An elbow is like a golf club. Feels nothing like a punch with a glove on, or bare fist, it’s more like a hammer.
This KSI doesn’t judge distance and move in with tight combos. He’s rushes in with a flurry with his chin open. Tommy Fury will pick his opening take his time and connect imo. 2 round KO is possible. But those fights don’t benefit from a Mike Tyson style win. It’s part of a storyline so notice it’ll go the distance.

Beautiful breakdown Tony.
how much of a factor would the size & weight be in this fight? It seems like Tommy is far bigger and heavier. I don't think KSI can take a big hit from Tommy.
He took two upper cuts from Logan and got back up and Logan was 200+ pounds on the night of the fight so I think he can Logan had to literally cheat to knock him down but he ksi took it and got back up I have seen many people take punches like that and not get up
Its Good that you show your credibility first. Other RUclipsrs without boxing background making boxing predictions are just pathetically insane.
I used to think my jab was good but I am not very confident on the heavy bag with it, any tips
I want to see KSI vs Tony Jeffries next
seeing Tony train him in his camp would be amazing
Coming back to this when he beats tommy
Mr Jeffries, firstly, great content. Thank you for your channel.
I have a request: a video about stances and footwork ideas for people with scoliosis, since it messes up our balance. Or, if there isn't any ajustment to be done, a video telling why...but I "feel" that conventional stances make me off balance a little bit.
